Recently Google Has Introduced Web Stories Features.
And I have Created a Separate Page for it, but when I tried to customize the page layout, I found that there is no option for web stories in the filter section of blocks.
In the next update of Newspaper, Include Web Stories and Web Stories Category in Filter Section of Block and Section.
I am enjoying the NewsPaper theme, but there is a massive problem with the newspaper theme is the Speed. I want to see a dedicated newspaper cache plugin that will autoconfigure the best setting related to the newspaper theme to boost website speed.
Hello @ComicsBeat!
Please make sure you have the latest version (11.3.2) of the theme, plugins and all the requirements are done as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If your settings from the theme panel are missing and you use default templates, then please make sure you have Standard pack plugin installed and active.
Please make a test, deactivate all the cache plugins, clear the cache from your browser and see the results.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!

Hi,
I been testing all day long. Some mobile devices loads desktop landing page instead mobile:
I’ve deactivate plugins but anything happen. I did erase cache from hosting and seems to work for a while, but after some minutes, again mobile page doesn’t show as I designed. Some times erasing cache from browsers seems to work, but I can’t ask users to that every time right? Im not using mobile theme plug in or amp project plugin for the same reasons, right now I need to have control on the mobile page appearance, but it seems I can’t make it work. I hope you can help me.
Thanks
Thanks Bettina, I clear cache at hosting, it seems to work fine so far. Let’s see what happen.

Hello Chris!
Please make sure you assigned the header in the Website Manager -> Header and in the theme panel -> header the same header template. Please follow this video: https://www.screencast.com/t/hEAyf6TBTfo2
Clear your cache or uninstall all the cache plugins and see the changes.
Hope that helps you!

Hello Carlos!
This issue is from a cache problem or a plugin conflict. Please make a test, deactivate all the cache plugins, clear the cache from your browser and see the results.
However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view. Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website.
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not, if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
For the page speed, I can recommend you some solutions in order to increase the score.
Our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update.
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:

– https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnkVapqhIHc
Please check the tutorials from those platforms gt metrix and Google Pagespeed Insights and I’m sure you can increase the page speed.
Please note that page speed is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
Thank you for understanding!
Hello Kishore!
Please make sure you have the tagdiv Standard Pack plugin installed and active (Newspaper -> Plugins).
If that problem is still there, then please execute these steps:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser) and try again.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello @CampoAdmin!
We have a guide with some tips why our Composer is not working properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
Please make sure that you have set the mod substitute in the htaccess file https://i.imgur.com/VuMw1lq.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ and you do not have any modSecurity enabled on host.
If that problem is still there, then please execute these steps:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello @Eddeon!
The issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:

Our team will take a look!

Hello How do we enable POPULAR POSTS
We enable
POST SETTING -> Ajax view count (keep counting with cache plugins)
Set to: ENABLE AJAX POST VIEW COUNT
but still it not working
any advice?
Hi,
I am checking the slider now. I see it like this for example, I made a few screenshots
– https://i.imgur.com/0ptURDA.png
Are some of these images incorrect? I refreshed the page a few times, the images are still the same from what I can see. Maybe I am missing the problem.
If there are issues with the images sometimes, maybe they are caused by the Jetpack image optimization that I see you are using – https://jetpack.com/support/site-accelerator/ This may resize the images or cause them to not look as they should. If possible you could try disabling this feature, clearing the cache, then checking to see how the images look again.
Thank you!
Hello @udumuslive!
This issue is from a cache problem or a plugin conflict. Please make a test, deactivate all the cache plugins, clear the cache from your browser and see the results.
We recommend using only one cache plugin, the WP Super Cache plugin with this configuration: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
Did you add custom code to the template?
Also, please if you can do a test using the theme plugins, clear all cache and see if the issue persists.
In case that the problem is persisting, please make a full backup and contact us at contact@tagdiv.com, make a full backup for your website and provide wp-admin and cPanel access. We’ll check it as soon as possible!
Thank you!
Hello,
So, if you have the 403 error, please check if you have a firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request as I said on this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/theme-panel-settings-are-not-saving-2/ and ask your host if there is a security module (ModSecurity enabled) on the server.
Also, please purge the OPcache from WP Rocket and clear all cache.
Thank you!
Hello @phoneswiki!
1. Please note that the auto ads code must be placed in Theme Panel -> Analytics/Js Codes.
If you use Mobile theme + AMP, then try to place the ads in AMP Analytics.
2. Please make sure there is not a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
I recommend you to make a backup and update plugins and the theme(version 11.3.2)via file transfer, so that you don’t face any error: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Let me know about your results!
Thank you!
Hello Max!
I’ve checked your website and it seems to work now.
This issue is from a cache issue or a plugin conflict. Please make a test, deactivate all the cache plugins, clear the cache from your browser and see the results.
We recommend using only one cache plugin, the WP Super Cache plugin with this configuration: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Thanks for this. I’ve looked at the instructions, our host is Hostgator and the don’t have Object Caching. Also, when I deactivate all plugins, there is no file created called object-cache.php
I’m in extra deep trouble now as I decided I would try to export the settings, ‘Reset’ the Theme Settings and reimport. All settings have been deleted, but now it won’t let me resave any of the settings I want to add back in!
Hello, so I was doing some changes to the amp version of the site and was purging the cache to view the refresh version, but suddenly the images stopped loading, and also the footer is missing. On further inspection, I noticed that the mega menu is also not working. While editing the page with tagDiv composer an error is shown. Here is the link to the image https://www.linkpicture.com/q/error_2.jpg
Hi,
Please do not share your private license on forum (once that you have access on forum means that you have a valid license key).
1. Are you using the mobile theme plugin? Maybe this is a cache problem. Please provide some more details and some screenshots.
2. If I’m right you are referring to infinite loading (the posts that are loading at the end of the accessed post), for this, you’ll need to edit the single post template with tagDiv Composer and disable the infinite loading.
-> https://tagdiv.com/infinite-loading-for-single-posts/ from post -> https://i.imgur.com/yIf6fA3.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/KeclHLS.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/4jHIHFY.png
I hope this will help you!
Hi Bill Dunk,
I think that you have an object cache file store on your server and that it is way the settings are no longer coming from database and will come from that object cache.
We have a guide from how to check the Object Cache if is apply on Backend -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
Let us know the results!
Thank you!
