RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /

Hi,
Try to put the code on top of the other code as @branch1 suggested.
DO NOT copy the code from topic. Get it from stackexchange and clear cache afterwards.
Thank you!
Hello dipulhasan,
You should provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response. Also, ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, clear all the caches and check if you respect all the theme’s requirements according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thanks for your understanding!
Thank you for the info, I updated the slider and installed the composed and after cleaning the cache it worked perfectly, but another problem has appeared with the facebook block, I have another short code not interpreted, I tried to get the solution on the forums but my code is not exactly the same:
[td_block_social_counter custom_title=”[Text]” facebook=”[Text]” style=”style6 td-social-boxed” facebook_app_id=”[Numeric value]″ facebook_security_key=”[Numeric value]″ facebook_access_token=”[Numeric value]″]
(I have replaced here the actual values by [Text] and [Numeric value] not to expose our data)
Do you have any idea about what’s the problem with this? Thank you again for your support.
Regards
Hi,
True that the guide is outdated, some settings were renamed, not so many however. It should be like this for example in the Advanced screen
– https://www.screencast.com/t/O4bGofxq
We will try to update the cache guide as soon as possible, sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Hello tmaghrebt,
Yes, you should disable at the moment, the Mobile Theme plugin and check how it works without it. Also, remove all of the untested plugins which might interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues. Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Ensure that you have updated the theme to the latest version of it via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. The option for mega menu should appears here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
Thanks.
Hello,
Please deactivate and delete all of the theme plugins (the ones starting with TD) and install them again from the latest theme package you download from Envato.
The plugins must be updated as well. I saw that you are using the Mobile Theme. So, please check the Mobile Editor and please remove all the code from there, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
hi. your tutorial https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ shows settings that are no longer consistent with the wp super cache plug in.
the ‘advanced tab’ is now completely different. Can you please adviser what the recommended settings are for the current version super cache.
Hello dpo,
I have inspected your main thumb and I saw that you are using the Featured video format for that post. Notice that the theme will automatically create the main thumb using the cover of your video. Here is not talking about an issue because the image is looking like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QHYIac2qvqYs and the black sides are there to fill the space. You can make a simple test: change the video to another one, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello raebild,
Please update the theme to the latest version of it, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further investigate it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this topic so we can quickly identify you.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
I have a problem with the mobile version of my site. When using the back button, it redirects to a malicious spammy webpage.
This only happens with the mobile site, and not the desktop version. Numerous people have checked the issue, and it happens consistently for every user.
I’ve been trying to find the problem, and my server hosts checked the database and found it to be clean.
They then just sent me this message, suggesting that the problem is somewhere in the newspaper theme files:
“Hello again,
Thank you for providing the credentials. I properly cleared the WP Rocket cache and installed one of the WordPress core themes, “Twenty Seventeen”. I activated this and I found that the site no longer redirected on mobile. After switching back to the Newspaper theme, the redirect came back. This suggests that the problem is part of the Newspaper theme. I am unfamiliar with this theme, but I would recommend removing the theme and reinstalling it from a known clean copy if possible. Additionally, I recommend your developer review the theme files for any obfuscated content or functions that would be causing the redirection.”
Please can you help? Have you heard of this kind of redirect problem before?
Thanks
Hello,
I had created blocks with column content (text, images, buttons) that worked perfectly fine. For some reason, the Title and Description Text is no longer editable. Specifically, when a block is selected, the tagDiv editing box is simply blank and I cannot click into it at all to edit the already existing text in the block (See link below for screen capture). This occurs with every block that already has text in the block when using the tagDiv editor. All system status parameters are green and everything is fine otherwise, as I had previously set-up and edited the blocks originally with no problems. I have emptied page cache as well with no luck. Thank you for your assistance.
There are indeed a ton of options!
I waste time doing the exact same thing.
You seem to have a good control of what you are doing on your new site, but I would make those fonts a little bigger.
and I also wish we could assign different size images for things more easily.
I have been using the “flex” layout blocks to get things exactly the way I want in regards to displaying images on standalone pages.
and I wish we had a little easier control over mobile menu items vs desktop menu items.
I know you can hide/show these things in CSS but they still load for a split second until css kicks in and hides them. which is hit or miss depending on your cache settings and connection speed and server speed.
Thank you! it worked, it was a WP Super Cache plugin that was disabled

Hello,
Maybe you have posts that have not been published yet or are scheduled for publishing. An admin can see these posts as well.
Or it could be a cache. Caching usually affects the front-end but not the back-end.
Please clear all caching on your site and test again. Make sure the posts in question are not scheduled or simply drafts.
Thank you!
Hello Hubert,
It seems to be a caching problem! Purge all the CDN files, clear all the caches and check the results.

Hi,
Unfortunately, adding this code as suggested above
<IfModule mod_substitute.c>
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
</IfModule>
to .htaccess didn’t work for me and my tagdiv composer is still spinning and can’t load. I tried deactivating plugins, clearing cache, and increasing all resources as suggested and all green now for me in status. Still no luck in updating my home page. please help me!
I tried everything i read about and i am on newspaper 9, everything is up to date, even my WP and PHP. not sure what’s going on.
Thanks!
Hello trailblazer,
The AMP and Mobile theme are two different plugins which do not depend on each other. You can use them together because does not exists any restrictions in this case. -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
Please notice that WP Super Cache is only tested with our theme and should bring good theme results. For achieving better results, this plugin has to be configured according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thanks for the message!
Hello robertkettlewell,
I have tested your website and I saw that you are using the Trending Now element with Random Posts from last 7 Days as sort order. Also, checking your website I saw that you do not have created posts in the last 7 Days and that’s why you bring no posts. Create some new posts or change the sort order, clear all the caches and check the results again. Also, please update the theme to the latest version of it. Please check here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/GbPXhJVkge
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello fabinhoalmeida,
I have inspected again your website and I have shared a post on Whatsapp and everything seems to work as expected without any problems. I did wait less than seconds until the sharing post to be loaded. Also, I have checked your console and I saw that you have some errors through it. You should disable all of the untested plugins, remove all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
I’ve found that WP Super Cache severely slowed down the site. It took 3 minutes to save a post.
My web host made these changes for me and now the site is 50% faster.
> Disabling W3 Total Cache and Fastest Cache
> Enabling Cache Enabler & Autoptimize
> Database Optimization
> PHP 7.0 Value tweaks.
Do you think these changes affect using the Mobile Theme?
Hello HKS,
I suppose that you are referring to the appearance of a flash/time loading when you enter on your website, right? This behavior appears when you have additional customization through custom CSS code. Please notice that the CSS is working in cascade and the first time will take the code from style.css that is set it by default and then the theme will take the custom code that you have changed from Theme panel and practically this flash is generated by this cause. As a workaround, you have to check your style.css and try to add directly to this file your desired custom code. So, if your problem is still there, please try to revert the theme to the default settings, without any customizations and let us know how it goes. Also, you can try to make a new install with the latest version of the theme and check the results. Also, please make sure every time you cleared caches. Noticed that the only files where you will have to edit are style.css. Also, please update the theme to the latest version of it.
If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
