Hello,
1. This happens because you use the mobile theme plugin. In this case you have to place ads in the mobile theme ad spots: https://www.screencast.com/t/pGcXJmodtYN
2. We only recommend wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
as for a cdn server: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Thank you!
Hello,
It could have been a caching issue and since thn the cache was reset.
Thank you!
Hello, I don’t know what happened, but two of my four social network icons are now missing (Pinterest and Twitter). I triple-checked the URLS, cleared my cache, deactivated my plugins, no CDN to possibly affect this, switched footer choices to see if that was the problem, logged off and logged back in, check with Twitter and Pinterest to make sure I was set up properly, changed from the child theme to the primary Newspaper theme to make sure the child theme didn’t have something to do with why this is no longer working, checked to make sure my theme was current…. ???
I hope you can assist me with this. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Facing the same issue on WordPress 4.8.3 version. Theme Panel is unusable. However, I did exactly what PatriotZero did. Also removed all plugins. Now it is working fine. I had Sucuri and WP Fast Cache along with the usual Jetpack and Akismet. Not sure what’s wrong.
Hi,
In almost all cases when this happens, it has been caused by caching plugins. These plugins mix or load the wrong stylesheet, which is not supposed to happen.
The recommended caching plugin to be used, also tested and works properly with then theme is the WP Super Cache
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Try as a test to deactivate the cache you are currently using, the issue should be solved. Then try and install the mentioned caching plugin if possible.
Thanks
Hello.
Before editing the dB, try to disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test again.
Thank you!

Hello,
This is not a bug. It is a caching problem. Please disable your cache plugin or hosting side cache and only use wp super cache and these settings:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
For CDN we only recommend cloudflare and these settings:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Thank you!

Hi,
That should not be difficult. Simply remove the demo logo, and upload you own
– https://www.screencast.com/t/UFWeLg9dWx
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
If you already did this and the old logo is still displayed, maybe you have caching installed. Try clearing all caches and check the results.
Also check after uploading your logo and saving the theme panel, if the change saved properly, meaning the new logo appears as the current uploaded logo.
Thanks
Hello,
Thank you for pointing this out. We will make the proper adjustments as soon as possible. Please also check with your host for any hosting side cache and have that disabled. If you use a cdn server please use these settings only: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
The settings in the wp super cache plugin have not changed much. The guide is still relevant: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
Well, mine is 90+ without a caching plugin and not fully optimized since moving from 2x to 3x.
You might look at my long-winded tutorial in the ‘best of forums’ section, as I cover many tricks for optimizing the site – from the basic htaccess stuff, various WP optimizations for wp-config.php, removing google fonts and using system font-stack, switching to local avatars, not using social ‘likes’ tracking, removing unused CSS not used (e.g., woocommerce, bbpress, if not using them); minification of main css and js manually; using a lazy load YouTube plugin to show thumb, and only load video when clicked (won’t work on featured vids outside post); limit modules used ‘per post page,’ to limit PHP calls; make sure using php 5.6 or higher with opcache ‘on’; changing default thumbnail image compression to make images as compact as possible for thumbs; etc.
It is doable. If you have gzip/deflate on, time to live extensions, opcache, and limit external loading, you should at least be 65 as baseline. Anything below that shows serious issues unrelated to theme.
Hi,
I am using the Popular last 7 days show posts, but it is not showing the most popular from the last 7 days. Instead it shows very old post from for example 2007 (where I have 10 views for example) and most post from last day are over 1000 views but just not showing.
This is post that is shown in popular last 7 days http://prntscr.com/h9g16l
If i check all post about it, I see all kind of “problems” but nothing about showing very old post with just a little views. I understand that there are issues with cache-plugins but don’t have feeling that it can influence that it show this kind of problems.
What am I doing wrong ?
Cheers
Hello,
the cache tutorial seems to be outdated. Some features have been removed and other have been added. Could you please update the tutorial? I’m having a lot of problem regarding the mobile theme that sometimes is displayed even in normal browser on PC. Obviously if I disable the cache plugin the problem doesn’t appear.
Regards
Updating:
insisting very firmly I managed provider to listen to me, and now compression works beautifully with code of Amit.
Thank you all for helping me.
Last little question : can you translate message of Page Speed Insight “Use cache of browser to memorize this istruction in cache: http://www.google-analytics.com/ga.js (2 hours)”
How I have to write the command in .htaccess?
Thank you again,
A big hug

Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
Ensure that your background image has been correctly loaded regarding on image size, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/NULEpkor I have inspected your background image and I saw that it is not added a correct size to it and that’s why, when you add it on background, the theme will stretch the image and if the image was wrong added with a low quality you will bring pixelated results, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/NULEpkor -> https://www.screencast.com/t/iT3mfb9vgII Please check these details, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
What did you update? And, did you clear your mobile browser cache to see the new site?
Hello Ken0929,
If you want to change the headings for the block template style 8 you should edit the theme core files and make the following changes, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/DuMK3ZrKJ76c Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello lemads,
1)Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
Please do not use this setting in Seo by Yoast:
https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh Also, if you are using the WP Super Cache plugin, please ensure that has been right setup according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
2)Also, the third important rule is to do not edit a page which was created with Visual Composer with TD Composer.
Also, I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues like this.
For more information about how you should use our page builder incorrect way on our theme, please check the following useful tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial-2/
Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Thanks for the quick reply Catalin,
I disabled all plugins except for tagDiv, the Visual Composer and Google Analytics.
I’m still getting the same results.
I even disabled and cleared the WP Super Cache as I thought it may be serving faulty pages via this.
Thanks,
Graham
Hello mattarchambault,
I have inspected your website again and the major problem of your images happens due to an opacity parameters which is 0, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/CoUSpx96 and it should be 1. So, try to disable the lazy load effect from Theme panel and check again the results after you will have clear all the caches.
Thanks for the message!
ignore the last part, that was due to the cache.
Hi,
Please provide a link to your website so we can take a look. That could happen if you have caching installed and maybe it is not configured properly.
The cache should be cleared when a post is published, like this setting in WP Super cache for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/mbVEJPqe2D
Or maybe the filtering and sorting you set on the homepage does not display latest posts. Check that as well. This is a guide presenting block settings
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thanks
Hello Ginebiene,
Try to re-create again the single image box with another image and check if it will be the same effect. Clear all the caches, purge all CDN files and check the results. If you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them, leave just to active only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and check the results. I have tested this feature on my side with a default theme version and it seems to work as expected, without any problems.
Thanks for the message!
I disabled all plugins and the images are still not showing. I cleared the cache, even checked on another computer.
Any other idea what this could be?
