Hi ethos,

Yes, our theme has more headers and footers to fit with Envato standards -> https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
For example when tagDiv Composer is not activate the theme will use the files from this path -> wp-content/themes/Newspaper/header.php when the plugin is enable and you also use tagDiv Standard pack with a standard header it will be use this path -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/header.php and if you are using a cloud header it will be use the file from this path wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/header.php
Indeed this is quite confuse, but this is the way that these files are used after after the update per envato requirements.
Also I’m not a developer, only a support member and a have limited code knowledge about the functions for the theme and how these are call and work, but if you want I can ask a developer for more information and I will get back to you.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hello !

You can do this only by using a custom footer from the Cloud library. Please note that footers can only be edited from tagDiv composer – Website manager as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/pTwilvrMsBp

Thank you !

I’ve got all post with default settings.
Cloud library was not applied for posts.

Question: may I increase post block width from 700 to 750 pixels like this ?
Screen – https://prnt.sc/tks8ee

and Subquestion: is it possible to shrink vertical sidebar width for all posts like this ?
https://prnt.sc/tksayr

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find such option in the Newspaper template – https://prnt.sc/tksbwr

Thanks in advance for an explanation! 🙂

I’m using the LifeNews Pro theme and the header and footers are having issues that are not being resolved by
– disabling all other plug-ins
– clearing cache
– following the instructions for updating “mobile” image.

FOOTER: When I import the LifeNews Pro footer – it doesn’t come in as editable. Instead, it imports “done” and states that its saved; however, when you exit out to view the template in the Cloud Templates area it shows as not editable. Additionally, when you try to edit the template the “Save” spinner keeps spinning.

HEADER: Pretty much the same issue. The header is editable (can use my header image) for everything other than mobile. When I SUCCESSFULLY get the header to change (using the details from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJo) – the “Save” spinner keeps spinning and the changes are not updated.

INSTAGRAM
The link to Instagram feature is also not working – it displays a
{“error_type”: “OAuthException”, “code”: 400, “error_message”: “Invalid scope field(s): basic”}

URL: https://www.instagram.com/oauth/authorize/?client_id=d6802e74a7dd4a6d80a6069b407d2f62&scope=basic&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Ftagdiv.com%2Ftd_instagram_api%2F%3Freturn_uri&response_type=token&hl=en

Hi, i spend a good amount of time to test a lot of things with the theme, and to get familiarized with it,

I had a few problems before and I fixed them by searching and trying, but not this one,
my problem is with Smart List Templates that are used from Cloud Templates,
Once i import a template from Clod Template to modified it I get this error:

Notice: Trying to access array offset on the value of type bool in /home/xxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/smart_lists/tdb_smart_list_5.php on line 62

And this is what’s on line 62 on the smart list 5 PHP file: $image_width = $first_img_info[1];

Plus the images showed down the article not the other way as on simple articles.
Then I tried a different style: Style 4 for instance, and i get this error as well:

Notice: Trying to access array offset on the value of type bool in /home/*****/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/smart_lists/tdb_smart_list_4.php on line 51

Also, this is what’s on line 51 on the smart list 4 PHP file: $image_width = $first_img_info[1];
Which is the exact same code! what i should change on the PHP code? please!
Adding to that, the feature photo doesn’t appear!

Ps: i can’t attach a link to this topic since it’s critical for the user experience on that website.

Hello.
I am setting up a blog using the classic-pro style.
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_classic_pro/#

I want to set up the footer just like the bottom of the classic-pro but could not find the footer template from the cloud, which includes the Instagram part and icons to SNSs. Can I ask this template to be uploaded in the cloud?

Hello,

I have some custom post types in my website. How do I enable the cloud library or tagdiv builder for the same? It would be much appreciated if templates and layouts are accessible in the editor.

Where I can find button to edit via TagDiv Composer in the Cloud library?

And it is not only a footer problem… It looks more like a bug!

When I use cloud template 48 Animals Pro, the layout of the post on the screen is not looking good (https://citycampusdordrecht.com/about-city-campus-dordrecht/?preview_id=457&preview_nonce=0505ca3667&preview=true&_thumbnail_id=442)

But when I press on Edit template, the correct layout appears!
(https://citycampusdordrecht.com/wp-admin/post.php?post_id=270&td_action=tdc&tdbLoadDataFromId=457&tdbTemplateType=single&prev_url=%2F%2Fcitycampusdordrecht.com%2Fabout-city-campus-dordrecht%2F%3Fpreview_id%3D457%26preview_nonce%3D0505ca3667%26preview%3Dtrue%26_thumbnail_id%3D442)
So the template is good, but somehow it is not shown the right way in the post.
Really frustrating this!

Kind regards,
Anne

This solved a part of the problem!!

I have selected and adjusted a cloud template for my posts. When I click on ‘view’ the template looks great with the above mentioned way of importing the Cloud footer (https://citycampusdordrecht.com/wp-admin/post.php?post_id=268&td_action=tdc&tdbTemplateType=single&prev_url=%2F%2Fcitycampusdordrecht.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fedit.php%3Fpost_type%3Dtdb_templates)

Only when I make a new post OR change the post template of an existing post, the footer goes crazy again! (https://citycampusdordrecht.com/mini-mba/?preview_id=424&preview_nonce=d66947f19f&preview=true&_thumbnail_id=428)

The same goes for the ‘Category template 7’ (https://citycampusdordrecht.com/category/educations/) (don’t know where to find this one!).

Looking forward to your help!

Hi gaviny,

So the header was re-set in theme panel or the cloud header changes were re-set?
Usually these problem are caused by extra plugins, we recommend to check the plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again set a cloud header and see if this is re-set or not.
If the problem persists, please provide some more details and some screenshots!

Let us know the results!
Thank you!

###########################################################
This is posted in case anyone else has the same need to set specific headers for a CPT single page template.

In TagDiv the headers and footers displayed for a post are controlled by entries in the {db-prefix}-postmeta table. In particular, the meta data values for ‘tdc_header_template_id’ and ‘tdc_header_template_id’.

If you create or edit a cloud template take note of the post_id.

In this use case the post is being created programmatically.
The insert is:

$post_id = wp_insert_post(
array(
‘comment_status’ => ‘closed’,
‘ping_status’ => ‘closed’,
‘post_author’ => $author_id,
‘post_name’ => $slug,
‘post_title’ => $title,
‘post_content’ => $content,
‘post_excerpt’ => $excerpt,
‘post_status’ => ‘draft’,
‘post_type’ => ‘my_custom_post_type’,
‘meta_input’ => array(
‘tdc_header_template_id’ => 621, /* use your header template id */
‘tdc_footer_template_id’ => 622, /* use your footer template id */
)
)
);

You could use add_action( ‘wp_insert_post’, ‘my_new_cpt_post_function’) to run ‘update_post_meta’ and update the values.

Hope this helps someone.
Best,
Don

Hello !

We suggest you to install a footer template from the Cloud Library.
Footer can be edited by opening your website manager as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/5VkiUmHQvF Select the footer and scroll to the bottom of your page.

Thank you !

Hello !

If you are using a Cloud library template you will have to edit the templates using TagDiv Composer not Theme panel.

Thank you !
