Hi,
First please check the way that you have set the sidebar in homepage, if is using widgets then use widgets too, if is set using tagDiv Composer, try with tagDiv Composer also please provide some more details about the implementation you’ve tried.
Or if you want you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login and I will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
Hi,
Is it happening only for the homepage? That must mean there is a problem with an element it. It may be caused when adding various codes, shortcodes or scripts in the composer or maybe in the backend of the page – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
Or when trying to edit a page that was not built entirely with the composer.
If you recently made any changes to the page, before the issue happened, you could try to revert to a previous revision of the page, in the backend.
Thanks
Hi,
@mario118 That would be the theme javascript, which is being loaded from the composer plugin now after the recent updates. Basically most of the theme files are now in the composer plugin, so now they are being loaded from there.
From what I can see there are other resources that are detected by the test
– https://www.screencast.com/t/mc7djU27HzE
There is also an image that provided a 404, this could slow the down the website by quite some time – https://www.screencast.com/t/2t9pe16R
Seems to be related to the mobile header, I suggest that you edit the cloud header with the composer and check the backgrounds on the rows, if there is an image there remove it, or set a different one – https://www.screencast.com/t/WL2jvNdBT
The cloud templates don’t have a stylesheet or any files, all their settings are in the composer. Their CSS settings are generated dynamically.
@budditbud You could begin by checking if the theme requirements are met
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
Check PHP version, wp-memory etc and if needed make the necessary adjustments where needed.
Thanks
Hi,
The link provide is just for demo, to see/test the templates; if you like that template you can import it from tagDiv Cloud Library ->https://www.screencast.com/t/DETD2ZaDU and edit if using tagDiv Composer .
If there is still a problem, please provide some more details and some screenshots.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all plugins and child theme ( if you are using ) and let only the tagDiv Composer , clear all cache, deactivate the cache plugin and try again.
If there is still a problem, please provide me a link where I can inspect this issue.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you are using mobile theme plugin theme you can not show the top menu, sorry!
If you are using the responsive mobile version of theme please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/top-barmain-menu-assistance-needed%E2%80%BC%EF%B8%8F/
Also you can use the header manager and build your own top menu , or you can use a header from tagDiv Cloud Library and edit it using tagDiv Composer.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,
I suppose that you are using WPBackery 6.0.3 which is the latest version of Visual Composer and also, which is not yet tested with our theme, sorry! Please use only the plugins which come bundled with the theme core files if you want to achieve better theme results. Otherwise, might appears some problems and interferences. Also, I have checked your license status and I saw that your support is expired, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/bs477qjLKHPj In the future, if you want to have access to our technical support, please extend your license.
Both Newspaper Theme and Newsmag Theme are supported by the tagDiv team accordingly to the ThemeForest Item Support Policy -> https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy. In summary, the Themeforest policy states that once you purchase the theme, you receive a 6 months customer support period with the possibility to extend the support to 12 months if you need further assistance. To post or reply on the forum, you have to be in the premium support period.
Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,
Yes, all that layout out can be make with Newspaper theme, also I’ve checked the beebom.com and this website that is build with our theme have made a lot of custom work/made.
tagDiv Composer -> https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-page-builder-basics/
tagDiv Cloud Library -> https://tagdiv.com/what-is-the-cloud-library/
Header manager -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
If you want to optimize the speed of your website please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/website-load-speed/
Thank you!
Hi,
1. Our developers are using the inspect element -> https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/inspect-styles/
2. No,the warning that you see does not block the tagdiv composer. It is just a warning mentioning you made edits outside the composer. The page name can be changed through the tagdiv composer so changing it in the back-end, will result on the warning you see on your page. But this warning will no block the page editor only if the color is red not yellow.
Thank you!
Hi,
From what I can see you are using a cloud header template. The sticky version of the header can be customized. While editing the cloud header template in the composer, activate the sticky mode, than you can customize the existing elements, or add/remove elements from the sticky mode – http://prntscr.com/o5wsuy
For the cloud headers there are 4 instances that you can customize, default desktop and mobile, and sticky desktop and mobile – http://prntscr.com/o5wtc8
On the other hand, if you do not want a sticky mode, removing all elements from the sticky version will disable it.
If you have more questions let us know.
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe you have (or the plugin has automatically) updated WPBakery to version 6.0.3. I have seen some similar reports from our users mentioning issues with the latest WPBakery version.
We recommend that you do not update WPBakery when available (purchased plugin)
The current WPBakery included in the theme package is version 6.0.2, which works with the theme just fine.
If what I mentioned above is correct, please remove the 6.0.3 WPBakery and install the previous version. It should solve the problem. We will include the new plugin in the next theme update, after we test it.
Thanks
Hi,
If you want to add more than 3 columns to your footer, you will need to use the Footer page and create your desired layout to your Footer page with TD Composer and apply it to Footer section. -> https://www.screencast.com/t/NEKfbFfaH -> https://www.screencast.com/t/hJpzbHb7g
Thank you!

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.

Hi,
You need to edit the page with tagDiv Composer, also will be better if you are using a header manager from tagDiv Cloud Library and drag a row above the menu and set the elements you need.
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/tT2sAuve
Thank you!
Hi,
In Newspaper v9.7.3 if you want to add some ads in product post/page you need to edit these files wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/woocommerce/archive-product.php and single-product.php in prev version these files can be found in wp-content/Newspaper/woocommerce/archive-product.php
We suggest you extend your support if you still need our help with your website or add extra keys that still have support.
Please check this article -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cant-post-reply-support-forum/
Thank you!
Hi,
Maybe there is a conflict between the composer and the plugin. Does it happen if only the theme plugins and the membership plugin are active?
The composer has to be active at all times after the latest theme updates, as most of the theme files are now located in it.
We haven’t made any testing with the theme or theme plugins and any membership plugin unfortunately. So I can’t say what the problem would be in this case. Conflicts may happen, not all plugins work with all other plugins or themes.
Thanks
Hi,
Plugins for captcha may work for the default WordPress login page, but they most likely wont appear in the theme login modal. The modal will only display what is defined in it’s code, and at the moment the theme doesn’t have the capability to display a captcha.
So displaying additional elements in the modal could only be done by manually adding the code for them in the modal window file (located in the tagDiv composer plugin), which is not a future proof method. As the plugins get updated along theme updates, the modifications will be lost.
Thanks
Hi,
The customization that positions the post meta over the image is the margin set here
– http://prntscr.com/o5u7vr
Without that margin it would indeed look like in the screenshot your provided
– http://prntscr.com/o5u71k
While editing the respective page with the composer, click on the imported flex block and check in the layout tab if the article meta has the margins set as mentioned above. It could have been removed for some reason.
The website seems to be in maintenance mode at the moment, so I can’t inspect the block to see what the actual problem is – http://prntscr.com/o5u8zi
Thanks
Hi,
This can be achieve in two ways; one with custom css -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Ovjk4BiNUpgj or the second one using the tagDiv Composer, to edit the footer page, click on the menu and set the style for it -> https://www.screencast.com/t/83JEXw0AJR7p
Thank you!
Hi,
From what I can see that looks quite broken. There are shortcodes displayed, the style is broken etc.
There is even an error among the shortcodes – http://prntscr.com/o5tuwb
Starting from 9.7 the TD composer has to be active at all times, as most of the theme files were moved in the composer. There is an article about it here
– https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
There may be some problems with both composers active, but nothing so major.
I see you might be using a CDN, I suggest that you purge it as a first step
– https://support.stackpath.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001134763-Purging-files-from-the-StackPath-CDN
Also activate the tagDiv composer plugin, and deactivate all non-theme plugins as a test.
After doing this check if the situation has improved.
Thanks
Hi,
Since Newspaper v9.7 the child theme is working only for the functions.php and style.css files.
We wrote an article on the subject here: https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
Unfortunately I can not say if there will be some problems, or not with child theme in coming updates, the better solution will be to not use the child theme only if you rely need of it; also, now you can make a lots of customization using tagDiv Composer , Header Manager and tagDiv Cloud Library.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please check this article for when tagDiv Composer is not working -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non-theme, also if you are using a child theme, clear all cache and try again.
Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
After this, if the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information and provide more there more details about that error so I can replicate it.
Thank you!
Hello !
In order edit your footer you will have to add and edit one from your cloud library and edit it using the tagDiv Composer. I suggest to insert a Text with title element in order to add links to the footer. Find out more about the cloud library and footer here:https://tagdiv.com/what-is-the-cloud-library/ ; https://tagdiv.com/how-to-create-a-footer-with-newspaper-theme/
You can do the same thing about the header too.
Hope this was helpfull !
Thank you !
