Hello,

Sorry but there are no options to make it larger. Are you maybe using the zoom out feature of the browser? please zoom in back t 100% as the composer should not be narrower than this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Thanks

Hello,

1. The option is gone from the wpbakery page builder since a few versions back when we changed the implementation for the colors. The color settings are available on the tagdiv composer.

2. This can also be done in the tagdiv composer under the css tab where you can manually add the margins and padding for each block in particular overriding the default values.

If you do not want to use the tagdiv composer page builder, then it cna only be done with custom css modification.

Thank you!

Hi Simon, thanks for getting back to me. I have no idea where they are coming from. I have checked the backend and after we add text, characters appear.
Yes, the issue happens with tagDiv composer in the text elements.So we have to go back in and fix it but sometimes, the error will appear, in the same text field in a different place. This is becoming an issue. Your advice please? Thanks.

SORRY — I figured it out. We had changed the site address URL to remove the “WWW” at the front of it. When we removed the WWW from the site address, the site continued to work just fine, but the TagDiv composer stopped working. I suppose we’ll just have to leave the site with the WWW at the front, since that’s how we originally set it up? Salvatore

Hi,

Does that happen with all the pages when you use the composer? Try it with a new page.

Could be insufficient memory and other parameter values
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Eventually memory could run out and problems may begin to happen. Or maybe you installed a plugin or made some modification before the issues started to happen, that is worth checking as well. Does the same happen if you deactivate all plugins except theme plugins?

In some cases when the composer failed to load, these solutions worked
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/

You could give these a try, let us know if one of these suggestions solves the problem or it’s still happening.

As I said, “when I try to edit a page using TagDiv composer, the left sidebar of the composer opens while the right 2/3 just has a swirling icon indicating that the page is loading. It never loads.” I literally have just three plug-ins installed, the three above. I was using TagDiv just fine until a few days ago. Now it won’t load.

I tried creating a new page and experienced the same problem — TagDiv won’t load the page. It will only load the left sidebar.

I tried deactivating the WP User Avatar but that didn’t solve the problem. Other than that, the only two plugins I’m using are yours (above). And I’m using only a tiny amount of my 50 GB hosting space. You can see the website at:

Hi,

– Those issues could be caused by insufficient resources, the theme has some requirements. If there aren’t sufficient resources for example, there could be problems
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
It is very important that everything is set as mentioned in the guide, WP memory can be set higher if possible. Usually the hoisting provider can take care of the modifications where needed.

– The Revolution slider is a demanding plugin, the cause for it not appearing could be related. Once it is placed in a page and the page is saved and viewed, the slider should appear (it will not load in the page edit screen)
https://www.screencast.com/t/nTR3UXYRoZU

– Some footer templates come with predefined content, some are empty. Choose the one you want to use in the theme panel
https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
You can also use the Cloud footer templates – http://prntscr.com/kkpat9
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

– The header will be the same in the whole website, not by page. It will be displayed as you configure it. The unique things about each page is it’s content and the page template
https://www.screencast.com/t/XplVPginyw

– For previewing posts on difference view ports there would be no tool at the moment. Pages can be previewed in the composer, but posts don’t have such an option.
https://www.screencast.com/t/ZfnN0BN5WvU

– AMP posts will be served by Google only, they are accessible through Google search. If the user does not visit the website from there, the mobile theme variant will be displayed if active. So they can be both active at the same time mobile theme and AMP.

Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hi,

So you have problems using the composer. What exactly is happening when you try to edit a page? Does it happen with a new page or only with some specific pages?

The first thing to check would be the theme requirements, system status section
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
It is imperative that the parameters mentioned in the guide are configured properly. Insufficient resources can cause many issues with the theme or the plugins, if needed ask your hosting provider to increase them as specified. Then check if the issue is solved.

If there is no need for modifications in that matter, in some cases the solutions from these topics worked for composer problems, you could give them a try if possible
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/ (this worked in many cases)
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/

Let us know if any of these suggestions fixed the problem and which one, or the problem remains.

Thanks

Hi,

I see some in the about page – https://www.screencast.com/t/FdWEWgJHvX
But where could they be coming from? If you check in the backend of the page or post do they show up there? – check the text tab when verifying the text
https://www.screencast.com/t/r9FK2dfgx

Also does the issue happen only in tagDiv composer text elements? If you re-enter the text or fix it, does the issue re-appear in those places?

Hi,

@Viju
It is not quite clear what you want to do. That is the default WordPress blog page, the theme doesn’t have many settings for this blog page. The default wordpress page shows latest articles.

The breadcrumbs can be removed in the theme panel
https://forum.tagdiv.com/breadcrumbs/

Maybe you should consider using a static homepage built in any way possible with the tagDiv composer
https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
It all depended on how you want the page to look, the tagDiv composer has many elements and settings.

Are there problems with the composer not loading properly? Usually this happens when there are not enough resources
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Some of the following solutions also fixed problems in some cases, give them a try
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/

Thanks

Hello,
We are having some problems with the mobile view.
We’ve built the home page with the TagDiv Composer plugin (re-installed from the latest patch 9.0.1), the mobile preview is ok, but when compiling and load the real page it shows an error, and if we clear the code, just appear the latests posts bundle. It doesn’t happen in category format pages, just in main pages.

Here you are a copy of the error and a screenshot:

wp_booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: td_css_res_compiler is not set.
/home/wrmwsyop/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_api.php

wp_booster error:
Missing parameter: ‘file’
/home/wrmwsyop/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_autoload_classes.php
Display backtrace

Fatal error: Class ‘td_css_res_compiler’ not found in /home/wrmwsyop/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/shortcodes/vc_row.php on line 171

Thanks for your help!

The tagDiv composer can be used to build post templates, not actual posts however. There is no limit to how many templates you can build, so you can build a template for each post if you want. Or re-use templates for multiple posts
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Such buttons in the post content could be done with some CSS, this is somewhat of a quick example (not properly tested)
Initial buttons in post content – https://www.screencast.com/t/JTK0hwrBhtin
With a code – https://www.screencast.com/t/PnPl3V9T8J

Code used in example (it may or may not work properly, could be modified)

.td-post-content .td_btn {
float: left;
width: 30%;
margin-left: 10px;
margin-right: 10px;
margin-bottom: 26px;
text-align: center;
}

Hello Jankow,

I suppose that you want a place more ads between posts within a block right? Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to d this, sorry! As you can do is to add more blocks and between blocks, you have to add more ads using the TD Composer.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi Guys, firstly great theme. Just recently, only with my home page, the minute I want to edit it with TD composer, I just all the code showing. Not really sure what to do? See screenshot here: https://prnt.sc/kknr6o

Hi,

Using Visual composer for posts is not recommended, it can be used if absolutely required however
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/

With the somewhat recent introduction of the cloud library plugin, the tagDiv composer can be used to create post templates, there are also many beautiful templates that can be imported
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

You could give the cloud library a try, you can have as many templates as you want (posts, categories, tags, authors and many others). In the updates to come the tagDiv composer and cloud plugin will receive many more new features.

Thanks

TD composer has an error in the code on my page. You can see an additional double quote at the end of div tag.

You can see on the page at http://www.sheffieldnewsroom.co.uk.

1. Go to Newspaper>Theme Panel>Translations>Translations and look for the breaking news entry and edit it from there to whatever you want.
2. The news ticker does not have a right to left feature. For that, you could try a plugin such as this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/pj-news-ticker/ and paste its shortcode [pj-news-ticker] inside a column text element of the tagdiv composer.

It was working fine, until a couple of days ago…
And I have checked with my hosting server. Everything is ok on that side.
What could be the reason? TG DIV Composer is working seriously slow

Hi,

I would like to know if it’s possible to have two post content section in the same template in the TDComposer.

I would like to have a first part of my post in a full width format to put a comparison chart and below, have a 2 columns format with post content on the left and the sidebar on the right.

Is it possible to do this? If yes, which block to use on my template ?

Ty in advance.

Everything was fine with my website until August 18. But now when I try to edit a page using TagDiv composer, the left sidebar of the composer opens while the right 2/3 just has a swirling icon indicating that the page is loading. It never loads. I have a very simple site with only the Newsmag theme and three plugins. The only one updated recently is the WP User Avatar. I’ve tried deactivating that, but when I do, TagDiv still doesn’t load.

Td composer does not work with posts. If you want to create posts, use the visual composer that comes bundled with the theme (inside newspaper-tf>plugins folder) and disable td composer. TD composer can only create and edit post templates imported from the cloud library via the td cloud library plugin.
