Hi,

This should not cause such an impact on the performance of the website. There is no option to disable it at the moment, this may change in the future. In following updates more options and settings will be added to the composer.
If you want to remove it try commenting this line of code

Hi Bogdan, I’ve tried various things but it definitely seems like once the module is registered as a block in td_config.php and used on a page inside visual composer it loses the ability to properly select the post meta ACF field values.

I use ACF inside single post templates and all works fine, I used ACF in category view with a custom registered module and all works fine, it’s just when the same module is registered as a VC Block, all ACF values are lost.

Any ideas?
Matt

Hi,

The tagDiv composer does not have the option for parallax at the moment. Something like this could be available in future updates. You can only set normal background images or colors for the elements, but not a parallax effect

Hi MediaServicesTagDiv,

You should disable the TD Composer if you will not use because it’s not recommended to use the both plugins altogether, sorry! Try to make this change and check the results. If it will be with no success, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Also, you should provide the full FTP access and paste there the link to this topic so we can quickly identify you.

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

Please provide a link to your website pointing to where this is happening if possible, so we can inspect it. You can try as a test to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and the composer you are using for building pages. Then clear any installed caching and see if this has any effect.

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for your appreciation. The mobile version of the website will display the same elements form desktop, adapted for mobile devices. There is no option at the moment to not display particular elements on specific devices.
An optional mobile theme is provided with the theme, in the package. You can find more information about it here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The mobile theme has predefined templates for pages, posts, category pages etc. It will not display composer elements, content for the mobile pages is limited to the mobile editor.

Hi,

That is the Live CSS editing feature that is displayed in the admin bar
https://www.screencast.com/t/le5Z0stsi
That is available when the tagDiv composer plugin is active. The div you mention, meaning the CSS editor window will display when you click on the Live CSS button

Hi Rhonda,

Do you are using the TD Composer on a page which was made with Visual Composer in the past or vice versa? Notice that thing is not recommended to do because you can encounter such a problem. For more information about this regard, please check the following guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial-2/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
If is not what you mean, please provide more details, your website and if the problem persists, you should send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information so we can further inspect your setup page. First of all, before sending us this email, you should disable all of the untested plugins because these could be the major cause of your issue, sorry!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

The latest theme version is tested and it should work properly. Most probably a plugin that conflicts with the theme and you have this issue. Do you have an error in browser console?
Please deactivate all your plugins except tagdiv composer(or Visual Composer if you use it), disable any css/js minification, clear all the caches and see how it goes.
If the issue persist please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and ftp access so we can take a closer look. Also paste a link to this topic so we can identify you.

Thanks!

Good afternoon,

I need your help. I have a website “correiodoporto.com” in which I use your Newspaper 6 theme with the visual composer plugin.

It was working fine and I was very pleased but now when I enter the session “Paginas” -> HomePage -> the visual composer does not open the layout of the site where you can enter blocks.
Always loading loading.

I urgently need to insert a new block and I can not.

Thank you for the reply Catalin.

I checked our plugins and I did have to delete two that were no longer supported in our current WordPress version. All of our other plugins were in use with Newspaper 6, but just to be sure I turned off all plugins except for tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Social Counter, tagDiv Speed Booster, and WPBakery Visual Composer. When I tried to Edit a page after turning off plugins we still have no button for Visual Composer.

After I read your reply above I also deactivated, deleted and uploaded and activated these plugins, td-speed-booster.zip, td-social-counter.zip, js_composer.zip and td-composer.zip and then activated them. Then, with the plugins still off (except tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Social Counter, tagDiv Speed Booster, and WPBakery Visual Composer) I checked again and still do not have a Visual Composer button.

Here’s our Edit screen with no VC button: https://ibb.co/ecYcKv
Here are the plugins activated and deactivated while testing: https://ibb.co/bFpnma
Here’s our System Status: https://ibb.co/bG04XF

I updated http://sullivansislandmagazine.com/s/ and http://isleofpalmsmagazine.com/ from Newspaper 6 to Newspaper 8 usng these steps:

  • LIVE SITE: Use WP All in One Migration plugin Export the site
  • TEST SITE: On an empty domain I installed WordPress 4.8.1
  • TEST SITE: All plugins were deleted and I installed WP All in One Migration
  • TEST SITE: WP All in One Migration was used to Import the website to be updated
  • I downloaded the Newspaper 8 update from ThemeForest
  • TEST SITE: Newspaper 8 was uploaded via FTP, plugins were installed and activated
  • TEST SITE: All desired updates were made (new home page build, sidebar recreated, if necessary etc)
  • TEST SITE: site was checked to make sure it looked good
  • TEST SITE: Used WP All in One Migration plugin Export the site
  • LIVE SITE: Used WP All in One Migration plugin Import the site
  • LIVE SITE: WordPress was updated to 4.8.1
  • LIVE SITE: site was checked to make sure it looked good, this was when I noticed Visual Composer was not working.

I can work without Visual Composer and use TD Composer but I’d prefer to be able to use Visual Composer, especially if its supported by the theme. Any ideas?

Hi,
The plugin TagDiv composer doesn’t work with my wordpress 2.2.2. The rest api is not include with this version.
So, when I want to place the block grid, there is a circle loading. The block doesn’t load.
There is an other solution to use this plugin with wordpress 2.2.2 ? Or should I use Virtual Composer ?
Thank you

Hello,

If you do not want to use our own tagdiv composer page builder, please deactivate it as keeping both VC and TDC active will cause layout issues.

Thank you!

Hi,

The tagDiv composer will work and should be used only for pages built with it, not with the Visual composer editor. If you try to edit a page created with Visual composer, using the tagDiv composer it will probably result in problems or broken elements. If you want to use the new composer, you will have to recreate all Visual composer pages

Thanks

Hello MediaServicesTagDiv,

Of course, the Visual Composer is fully tested with our latest theme version and seems to work as expected. To achieve best theme results, you should only use the plugins which come bundled with the theme core files. Also, make sure that your VC version is the right one which comes bundled with the theme packet and not any other paid license. Check your system status parameters to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Thanks for the message!

Greetings team,

I’m trying to migrate from Visual Composer to TagDiv Composer, however since the upgrade has taken place to v4 photos uploaded on pages such as “Insert Image” block have size issues (they look over-sized). I had to remove them since they are not very aestetic. No matter what size I choose (thumbnail, medium, large, etc) they are oversized, way to huge to display.

Any advises on this? I was wondering if someone else reported this…

Please let me know if you need more details.

Thanks!

Hi,

Each of the block titles can be customized by editing the page with the tagDiv composer
https://www.screencast.com/t/B3xsNiGt
There you can see all the elements on the page and customize them, delete them or add more. Click on the block you want and change it’s title
https://www.screencast.com/t/9wNAjvZnYMG
Here you can find more useful information about the tagDiv composer
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
And also all the available block settings and options
https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/

Thanks

Hi,

Please disable all other plugins beside bbpress and visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test again to see if the issue is still there.

Thanks.

Hi,

Please go to your plugins section and deactivate the tagDiv composer. Then check if the single images are displayed like before. In some cases having both Visual composer and tagDiv composer active can cause some issues. The tagDiv composer has a different functionality for the single image elements.

Thanks
