I have been trying to set this theme up all day and for the past hour, the composer has decided to play silly buggers.

When I click ‘edit with composer’ I get the loading screen and nothing happens. I have tried clearing my cache, restarting but no joy.

Not a great first impression of this theme.

1. I purchased the NewsPaper 8 twice. The second installation demanded a registration with a purchase code. When I do this, the next page demands me to register, and when I enter my data, the system tells me “user name already in use”. I do not want to register twice, how can I add the second installation to my account?

2. I am working the travel theme. Where can I change the large picture which goes from left to right at the top of the screen.

3. I have to create pages showing a video from one side to the other. How can I use the visual composer on posts. I need to be able to videos, pictures, google maps. Or does this only work on pages.

4. When I add the video widget, the youtube video picture shows, but the video does not run. What’s the trick here to make it run?

5. I also have to add a sort of text box allowing to set a different background color and which allows me to write single line text into two columns. When I use the option “Text with title” and set the background to grey, it still shows a white background on the front end. Also, the text is spaced out double line. Is there an additional plugin which would allow me to enter text with different line spacing and different font, similar like in Word?

I need help to make some changes:

1) In my home I entered
– custom ad 1
– custom ad 2
– custom ad 3
Each ad contains three images. I would like to reduce the space between them.

I’m not a technician so I can not make changes that are not made with TD Composer.

In the user profiles you can add website and a ton of social media sites. Would it be possible to add a job title of some kind or maybe just a text that will appear in the Author Box’s Visual Composer plugin.

If you look at the page I would like a custom text on each user that will appear like the website link, but without a link 🙂

I am using newspaper theme, and i have built a custom grid for visual composer to show woocommerce products with their image, title and price + add to cart button.
All works well except the add to cart button generates this link:

wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?add-to-cart=7822

and therefore not adding it to cart and showing a page with “0” on it.

I have read on the Visual composer forums that it happened to several users but they always forwarded it to the theme developers.
So I am wondering if you can help me out here.

is there a way to add a widget using tagdiv composer on a page? Looks like it add the whole block but I only need a single widget.

In momentul in care vreau sa adaug un modul in sidebar sau sa selectez o culoare folosind color picker-ul, selectia ramane “lipita” de cursor si nu pot valida, modifica etc selectia respectiva. Daca vreau sa trag un widget in sidebar, widgetul ramane “agatat” de cursor si nu-l pot plasa/modifica optiunile iar in cazul selectorului de culori, cursorul ramane captiv in colorpicker si nu pot selecta o anume culoare nici daca vreau sa-i scriu codul in hex.
Am facut upgrade la ultima versiune a temei, am dezactivat toate plugin-urile si … la fel. De la versiunea 8 a temei am renuntat si la visual composer (am crezut ca este de la el dar s-a dovedit a nu fi).

I would like to know if it’s possible to use (maybe with some tricks) the pages instead of the articles, for example in the “big grid” element of the composer.

Just updated to the latest version of Newspaper and while in the process of recreating the home page realized that the theme panel is not saving any changes or updates. It goes into a loop that I have to click out of in order to stop it. I checked the php.ini settings and they are all within the parameters mentioned in another post on this same topic. Plug ins are all turned off except for tagdiv composer and tagdiv social.
Please advise?

On a page, I’m trying to put link menu that just lists certain pages, not categories. Any way to do this through Visual Composer? thanks

I’m migrating a site from one host to another. I made a backup using Updraft Plus and moved everything across to the new location, which worked fine. I then went to install the Newspaper theme and it seems to have installed correctly. But when I go to activate tagDiv Composer I get:

The plugin does not have a valid header.
Downloading install package from /wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/plugins/td-composer.zip…

Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.

I’ve no idea why – any ideas?
