I am using Visual Composer to set my home page. In one section I am using the Big Grid template, with one big picture at left side and small posts notes at left. How can I pick an specific post to display as big image. Right now is displaying the last news, so change every 1 or 2 days, but are some news I wan set them to last more time depends of my consideration and not for most viewed, more recent, etc.

Please ensure that you have deleted your old version of Visual Composer and then you have fully installed the new version of it -> 4.12. Try to deactivate all plugin except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test again.

But Visual Composer not working. Any other ideas?
I update my theme. My mainpage is prepared by visualcomposer (include newspaper theme).
But when I update theme, my mainpage is not loading. When I disabled visual composer, the site is opened perfectly.
I check backend (wordpress admin page editor) and visual composer is not loading in edit page area.

It seems that I have the last version of Newspaper theme v 7.1.1 and the Visual Composer is v 4.11.2; Slider Revolution v 5.2.5.1.
I’m not sure how I can make the updates, the theme appears to not require an updated, instead those plugins appears to have a new versions released.

Try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Also, if your problem is still there after this advice, please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer the issue.

I have tested on my site with the latest version of Woo commerce and all the images still working as properly. Please leave just only the Visual Composer and Woocommerce to active and disable all the other untested plugins to rule out the conflict between them.

I’ve checked your site and the links form mobile menu works fine on my end. If you still have this issue try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test the site again.

Try to deactivate all plugin except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test the site again. Then activate TD Composer and check how it works. Note that the plugin is still a beta and is best to try it on a test wp-install. just to make sure that it won’t break site’s functionality. There might be a conflict between TD Composer and other plugin that you have installed in your wp.
The best environment for testing would be on a sub-domain with a fresh wp-install with this configuration:
– last version of wordpress
– last version of Newsmag (we did extensive testing and development on Newspaper but it should also work on Newsmag)
– TD Composer plugin
– optionally you can install Visual Composer.

If the current theme’s version that you’re using on the site works fine then you can keep it but we always recommend to update the theme to the latest version available. The update at V 3 it’s a major one, lots of new features we’re added and also many bugs were fixed: http://screencast.com/t/XgpHhrNvJsf Note that if you decide to update the theme it’s also needed to update Visual Composer and Social Counter plugins to new version included in theme’s path.
The update process shouldn’t take to much time and you can put the site in maintenance mode using a plugin with a specific functionality. Hi,
after the last updates the display of the rows is really messed up. If we choose, for example, a 2/3 + 1/3 division, the content in the 1/3 column will be displayed randomly, full-width, throughout the page.
This is a serious issue since the homepage is involved. How can we fix this quickly?
