Please ensure that you are using the latest version of it (Newspaper 7.1.1) and also, the latest version of required plugins (Visual Composer 4.11.2 and Social Counter 4.1). Also, please make sure that this type of problem does noot come from your untested plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN file if you are suing the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

Hello,

We have no reports of problems with visual composer if version 4.11.2 is installed. Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. If you use the mobile theme, check your page back-end again as there are 2 editors now, scroll down a bit to find visual composer as the mobile editor is at the top.
If you still have issues with this and if there is a problem we did not find yet, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login to inspect this issue. We need to see the error if we are to fix anything.

@sigurbjornsson you seem to have used visual composer from a very early version and created your page with that version. Some elements from VC were removed/marked as deprecated by the plugin author in the latest versions so you will have to re-create these elements. Every homepage style you see on our demo is created in visual composer as a standard page. The url changes in our demo as well: http://screencast.com/t/aeDzlkRQ1
Every page you create will get an url from wordpress whether you use visual composer or not. Our theme does not change this behavior. The url will be hidden if you set your page as a homepage though.

Please notice that you will have to update the theme to the latest version of it (Newspaper 7.1.1) and then you will have to update the required plugins to the latest version of them ->Visual Composer 4.11.2 and Social Counter 4.1. In the past, was be a problem with our related articles and in the latest update, this would be resolved and now should working as properly. Also, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

I have tested some of the youtube links that are not working on your site bu they seem to work properly upon embedding. This could be a plugin you recently installed that interferes with the embed process. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.

Please notice that you can use the same way for adding the ads to your post pages but you will have to add the code using the do_shortcode method where you want in your articles.
For example, if you want to display some ads in your article, first of all, you will have to create the code from the Visual Composer, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/jPe8zXDY and then you have to add the following code in the corresponding file with the post template used by you. As an instance, if you are using the post template style 1 you will have to add the code in loop-single-1.php, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/sQATPmLwlhD and the result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/s6nnSsQ5

Please try to update the theme to the latest version of it (Newspaper 7.1.1) and also, the latest version of required plugins (Visual Composer 4.11.2 and Social Counter 4.1) Please try to update theme only via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. Also, to avoid the conflicting plugins which might appear in the theme, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme.
