Hi
After WordPress’s last update there appeared a jQuery conflict in our theme. We fixed this conflict and the current theme version available on themeforest works fine, also we included last version of Visual Composer plugin.
Try to update the theme at V 2.3.6, and Visual Composer at V 4.11.2 following our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi
Please provide your site url so I can have a closer look at this issue. Meanwhile make sure you’re using the last theme version available on themeforest, V 2.3.6 and also update the Visual Composer at V 4.11.2 which is included in theme’s path. Here you can check our update documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thanks!
Hi,
Unfortunately there is no way to use visual composer on category pages. You can customize the categories from the theme panel settings or you can create a simple 301 redirect from your category to your custom page
Thank you!
Hi
Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, deactivate the child theme, clear all caches then test again.
Let us know how it goes and if the problem persist please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your login credentials and we will inspect this issue as soon as possible, also include a link to this topic.
Thanks!

Hi,
You can add a h1 title using a text block in visual composer above the big grid and simply add a h1 tag in the mce editor.
Thank you!
Hi,
We are not aware of any categories to go missing from the homepage after the update. Please make sure you have not changed anything else or installed a plugin between the time this worked and the time it stopped working. Please make sure you use the latest version of visual composer (4.11.2) and then deactivate all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files to rule out a plugin conflict. Maybe your events plugin is not compatible with the new version of visual composer.
I’m not sure where you got the code you showed but if it’s the plugin implementation instructions, then you need to follow their advice and add it where the plugin specifies it. We cannot help in this matter as we cannot offer support for plugin implementation.
Thank you!
Hi
Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again. Also check the browser console for any errors while you’re saving the settings. Usually there should appear a 403 or 404 error. If this happens contact your server administrator and explain the situation, as it’s requested many times during the a save the file it’s treated as threat so it’s banned. You can report false positives to your server administrator to remove it from the banned list.
Thanks!
Hi
You can use a post slider block from Visual Composer like here: http://screencast.com/t/6wMUjNLkPM and the rezult will be like here: http://screencast.com/t/y65cmups
Hope this helps.
Thanks!
Hello davidtiquet,
The smart list is designed to use the light box to default settings. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hi,
the category tags can be controlled separately from the visual composer block settings. Every block can have separate hover and title background colors. Here are the 2 options needed for this: http://screencast.com/t/99NIFPPIqAXJ
If no rule is set in visual composer, then the theme accent color will display.
Thank you!
Please provide a link to your site if you still need help with this after you check the theme panel option as Sid suggested. You can also try to deactivate all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn if you use it in order to rule out any plugin conflicts.
Thank you!

Hi,
Well since you cannot move your localhost to a live server so we cannot inspect it, and since we have no such reports of visual composer causing such issues, you will have to trouble-shoot the issue yourself. Try to use the browser inspector and figure out where the extra space is coming from. We have no idea of why this is happening and we cannot recreate the issue. And since you cannot provide access to your site so we can see inspect it ourselves, I am unable to help any further based on the current circumstances.
Thank you!

Hello anthony volpe,
Also, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. It could be a plugin’s conflict which could create this issue. If you need more assistance in this regard and you cannot accomplish to add more items to your drop-down menu, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information so I can further inspect your setup page. Also, please provide the link of this topic so we can know who you are and what the issue is.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello,
If you provide a link to your site, we will take a look. There is no setting in the widgets area to add or remove padding. There is however a design options tab in visual composer if that is the way you implemented the sidebar.
Thank you!

Hello elpaulli,
If you want to sort your posts and order by Tags, you have to use the filter by tag slug from Block Settings, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/NQqp6lMGXnN and in this example, the block 9 will show you the posts which have abc tag and it part of Travel category. Also, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps!
If is not what you mean, please provide more details about what you want to achieve, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thank you for the message!
To clarify, it lets me save posts if I do them in the “Text” section but it then requires me to use all of the typical shortcodes to denote what is text and what isn’t. Really frustrating and not anything I can work with.
When I try to use Visual Composer’s Backend Editor on Posts, the same thing happens. I can’t edit a text block in the “Visual” WYSIWYG.
Hi
You also need to update the Visual Composer plugin at V 4.11.2 which is included in theme’s path and it should work fine.
Thanks!
I am unable to edit through my Visual Composer, however the pages are still working but when it comes to editing, i can’t find Visual Composer editor for pages.

Hello hwhosting,
First of all, please ensure that this kind of issue does not come from your untested plugins which are using on your side. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Please ensure that you have the latest version of Visual Composer (4.11.2). Please set your Visual Composer, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ Also, please check your system status and try to increase all the parameters, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset CDN files if you use it.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
