Hi
I am not sure why this happens but you can try to deactivate all plugins, except Visual Composer, just to be sure that there is no conflict with some other plugin, clear all caches and test again. Also you can try to make a local fresh new install, just with WordPress, the theme and the Visual Composer plugin then check if the problem is still there.
Thanks!
Hi
The theme have the ability to manage the sidebar for the custom post types. I’ve just test this on my side and works fine. We didn’t test the Seriously Simple Podcasting plugin with the theme and I am not aware of it’s functionality so there is a chance to appear some issues. However I did a quick test and the sidebar works fine on podcast post type: http://screencast.com/t/RcciEEDl0Ujz – http://screencast.com/t/ZZThsY9T7W1
You can try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer and Seriously Simple Podcasting, clear the cache memory then test again.
Thanks!
Hello,
This could be a wp related issue. Please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and clear your cache to rule out a plugin conflict. If the problem is still there, please switch to a wp default theme and see if the boxes start working again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello rentaguide,
First of all, please try to disable all the active plugins and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme. You should update to your Visual Composer to ultimate version (4.8.1). Also, you can read this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
After this changes, if your problem is still there, please try to update your theme to ultimate version.
Before to update, please backup the whole current theme installation as well as the database and wp install: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups
After this, you can use the ftp method from theme’s update guide to uploading theme’s files and remove the previous theme files before uploading the most recent ones then test this again and let us know how it goes.
You can find a video tutorial on how to do this in theme’s update guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you for the message!
Hello,
Unfortunately there is no option for this. You will have to edit the theme core files in order to implement such an feature. You can use a do_shortcode function and use a visual composer single image element shortcode like so:
Add a single image element and place your image inside it. Use the settings for the block element to adjust size and other options: http://screencast.com/t/cII3MReWUA then enter classic mode and text mode to get the shortcode for the element: http://screencast.com/t/yxQaVF8PM
Then you can use this code: $buffy .= do_shortcode('enter visual composer element here');
You have to place the code in the smartlit file corresponding to the smartlist you use: http://screencast.com/t/saAZIJFjaAsn
This will make an image appear on the bottom of every slide. Just adding one image on the end of the smartlist is not so easy to do from the code as smartlists are based on a loop.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please provide a link to your website wo we can inspect the issue.
You can try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and see if the background is still missing.
Thank you!
Hello,
If you already have the latest version of the theme and the problem is still there, please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and purge cdn files so we can rule out a plugin conflict.
If the problem is still there afterwards, then please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can take a look at this issue. Please include a link to this topic.
Thank you!

Hello Sitthinunt.p,
All fonts and sizes settings from Theme panel->Theme fonts does not affect the content element of Visual Composer. If you will remove Visual Composer tags from Backend editor then all settings of fonts and sizes will apply.
For more information about fonts, please check our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
Hope this helps!
Thank you for the message!
I use the Visual Composer Backend Editor. When I create several rows of content on a page and save the page then return to the page to edit the content, the bottom most rows will be missing. The content is still there because it is visible in the Classic Mode, but it is not visible in the Backend Editor Mode so I am not able to edit the content. I cannot figure out why it is doing that or how to make the editing window larger.
Hello 🙂
I used visual composer to make a new page i want it to be ( my homepage ) , i made it but i could not make it appear as ( my homepage ) can anyone help me ?
Thanks
Hello fergusga,

After these changes, if your problem is still there, please let us know.

Hi Bogdan,
Thanks for your reply.
To elaborate on the issue, please see my configuration in
http://www.screencast.com/t/oV3859p2 (Basically, I changed the font families and font sizes in pages)
Then I created a content with Visual Composer (http://www.screencast.com/t/l3n1tf6f). After entering preview mode, the content wasn’t changed as configured (http://www.screencast.com/t/0RmJoyp0F)
Then I just played with it and found that when I changed from Backend Editor (Visual Composer) to Class mode and delete [vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text], Font families and font sizes worked. (Please see http://www.screencast.com/t/xrhzWPtkmWn0 and http://www.screencast.com/t/UJLQJbVF)
However, when I used Visual Composer to add other contents, it just went back to the previous stage (No change for font families and font sizes).
I also tried to deactivate all plugin but it didn’t work.
Thank you very much.
Hello StockFanatic,
You should update the theme and install Visual Composer that come bundled with our theme. The update will come with new version of Visual Composer. For more information about how to update Visual Composer, please check here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ .
Thank you for the message!
Hello insidestl,
You should use a block 15 as sidebar, in Visual Composer to achieve as you wish. The result you should see here:
http://screencast.com/t/OJxTisgpP For more information about sidebar, please check our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello,
Unfortunately we are not familiar with that particular tool you use. First you can try it without any plugins (except visual composer) to rule out plugin conflicts. Next check for any redirect software or rule in htaccess.
Another thing you can try is use https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools and check your website for errors using their tool to see if the issues are the same ones as your tool.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello NickSi,
Please provide your URL website so I can inspect it closer. Also, please provide more details about your problem. (some screenshots would be useful). I need to know these details so I can be able to provide a more accurate response. Before this, please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and try again.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hello,
Please try to disable all your plugin except visual composer, clear cache and purge CDN if you use it. this way you can rule out any plugin conflicts that might affect visual composer. It could be the seo yoast plugin as we had reports of the new version not being compatible with visual composer in some cases. If this is the case, you need to revert to a previous version of yoast.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hello rodrigocarlos,
Unfortunately, there is no option to add more social sharing option to our social icons. You can add only the Google+ social link from Visual Composer->Social Counter Settings, like this http://screencast.com/t/SDZXd2A4ivg but not the rest LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc. on our theme.
It is possible to add this but is not a simple task and it is necessary to make some customization in back-end and also, better coding knowledge are required. If you are not aware, about the steps, I consider hiring a freelancer/developer to do this for you, because we do not provide Custom Work for the moment, sorry.
P.S We add these things/suggestions to our list of fixes and on near future/updates, it would be possible to implement it in our theme, as well. Our developers will decide these things.
You can use this topic as a reference to see how it can be done: https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-a-new-linkedin-button/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/i-would-like-to-edit-the-social-media-share-buttons/
Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding!

Hi @icecold
Sorry for the delay and for all inconveniences. We take the topics from the oldest to the newest and because you updated your topic it was always on top.
I’ve checked your site and noticed that you’re using the latest version of the theme, but an older version of Visual Composer plugin: http://screencast.com/t/l0jivAfL Please try to update the Visual Composer plugin from the
Newsmag-th/plugins folder: http://screencast.com/t/miUvStRJT – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ Note that you have to look in the V2.3.3 path after the indicated folder. Also try to deactivate all others plugins except VC, clear all caches including browser cache, purge cdn files if you’re using and test again.
If you still can’t manage to solve this issue please address us via email at contact@tagdiv.com including a link to this conversation and also give us wp-access so we can have a closer look at this issue.
Thanks!
Hello,
Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer to rule out a plugin conflict. If this does not solve it then please provide wp-admin at contact@tagdiv.com so we can inspect this issue.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and try the theme panel again. If this does not fix it, then please try to install the theme again via FTP https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ as something might have gone wrong upon updating.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi there,
I have a problem with page font family and font size.
I tried to change page font family and font size in theme fonts but nothing happened to my page.
However, after I changed from Backend Editor (using Cisual Composer) to Class mode and delete the codes before and after the paragraph, it worked.
Can you please me address this issue?
Thank you very much.
Hi
I’ve checked your site and noticed that you have a redirect for the modal images. Please make sure that you deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, remove any custom code if you’re using and test again. Also you can try to make a local install, only with WordPress, the theme and Visual Composer plugin then test this again.
Thanks!
