Is there a way to only show the Header Ads on certain pages without having to use Visual Composer on everything individually?

Thanks for the Info. Enqueueing the script ist outside of my area of competence, I’ve no idea were to add the script you mentioned above – or maybe it’s only too hot today. 🙂 I’ll use Visual Composer for my post pages as a workaround and skip the animation on the authors pages.

The issue is not the CSS of the block,please remove the modification you have done to fix it. The issue is about the order of the theme style.css vs js_composer.css and VC that overwrite the grid padding. http://screencast.com/t/RQvAuITOEaN

Please make sure that you use the latest version of the theme 6.2 and also you have updated the Visual Composer plugin from package that you have downloaded from themeforest /plugins folder. Also check this without any plugins active, leave only Visual Composer active, clear cache and see if it works.

Unfortunately we didn’t tested this plugin with our theme so I cannot make any suggestions regarding this.
Full width of the version 4 of Newspaper is 1170px and the width of the new theme is – http://screencast.com/t/JKpaAQXuu I have checked you page and this is the full width – http://screencast.com/t/cZwk1Hv7Xr the themes were initially designed at that width with an fixed grid layout and changing it would not be easy as it needs changing the width value for all elements on pages and for this you would need custom work.
I’m not sure if this can help, but in version 6 of Newspaper you can find the new version of Visual Composer(it was not tested with version 4) and it has an option to stretch the row – http://screencast.com/t/MPx7uXTaP

This happens because you have the visual composer’s JavaScript loaded on those pages so when it’s missing the the animation doesn’t work. On your homepage and the other pages the js is loaded as the page builder can be used but on posts pages or author pages the VC page builder shouldn’t be used so the js isn’t loaded.

It’s strange though because the two sites has almost the same settings and I didn’t import the theme.
I have deactivated the plugin except for Visual Composer, but still the same. Really strange.

I have checked your site and did not found any issues with megamenu subcategories, it works like it should be. When you hover a subcategory it is displaying articles from that subcategory and when you click it takes you to the category page – http://screencast.com/t/sWcswGnuo1F – http://screencast.com/t/9QKOSKkppgK
If you still have this issue please check this without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer active, clear cache and check if it works.

Not sure why you have this issue as I have checked you site and did not found any issue in the console. Please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer and make sure that you change the fonts for the right module. I also tested this and did not found any issues, for example block 15 you have to change the fonts for article title for module mx4 – http://screencast.com/t/jek7zmwcd – http://screencast.com/t/eUOURMq0d

How can I make full width (responsive) rows on a Visual Composer page?
The header and footer stretch across the full page but rows I create in VC stop at the edges.
I also have Optimizepress 2.0 pages on the site where the full width rows don’t go all the way across as well.

I’m still stucked with Custom Type Posts and i came to a Post Grid in Visual Composer. Wonderful, in Post Grid Settings i can simply choose CTP in Data Source and then later in Narrow Data Source, i can choose category of CTP – custom taxonomies.
Now please, tell me (no coder, no programmer) where is the difference with i.e. Block 15 where i can’t do this? It’s pretty obvious that Visual Composer can see all parts of CTP, but in Block 15 i cannot narrow down data source?

Basically the visual composer doesn’t work. Whenever i add elements using the visual composer and click Update, the whole thing goes missing and the fatal error occurs.

On Post Settings, I have enabled Author, Date and Excerpt, although that doesn’t control all the blocks because some were not designed to have the author, like you said 🙂 It might be better to put individual settings on Visual Composer for each Block Module for easier editing. Just a suggestion 🙂

Hi,
Please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer and remove any css/js compression, clear cache and see if you still have this issue. These js errors usually are caused by plugins that conflict with theme javascript, also please make sure that you use the latest version of the theme 6.2.

In past week we had like 3 different programmers trying to get Visual Composer to sort by CTP categories. None of them could make modifications 🙁 The last one says it’s definitely theme that makes a problem.
Do you have any estimated finish time regarding CTP support in Newsmag theme.
We wanted to start with our site tomorrow as of 1st July, but now we are pushed back to unknown date 🙁
