Hi there,
Any news on my TD Composer problem. I’ve emailed the info but no luck. We’re getting quite concerned.
Best regards
Ken 🙂
Composer does not work, can’t click on elements, and I get this message;
Errors at columns elements: 18(models) : 16(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)

Hello!
First of all, try to do these steps as quickly as possible, so your visitors do not notice the process:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Also, make sure your WordPress and plugins are up to date(specially Standard Pack installed and active if you use default templates).
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Our team will take a look!
Thank you!
Hello!
The reason why the page looks like that in TagDiv Composer plugin is because originally, the page was created normally and not with the plugin. If you hit save while in Composer all of the page content will disappear because it is not seen as one of the plugin’s elements.
What you can do is to add all of the content into an element in Composer called ” Text with title ” for example.
For more information about this plugin, you can check our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thank you!
Thanks, Anamaria, bizarrely reinstalling the Composer fixed it.
Hello,
You need to edit the Single Post Template with tagDiv Composer, select the Single Post Content and you can set the “Extend by”, like this https://www.screencast.com/t/CV09S8VxsLT7
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
It does not save the changes I made. All operations are slow. I can’t find the reason. My days and hours are wasted. I am unable to use my website for a few days. Immediate help please. This is related to the composer plugin. It normalizes when I disable it. Will it be edited?

You should be able to add an element called “Button” with TagDiv Composer in the header.

Hello,
If I understood correctly, you want to display the time when you public the post and the modified date if you edit the post, right?
You can add with tagDiv Composer, you can add the element Single Post Modified Date and Single Post Date in Single Post Template like this =>https://www.screencast.com/t/NoAh6tmC
Hope this helps you!

Hello,
In most cases, this problem occurs because you have the latest version of WordPress with an older version of the theme.
Please check if you use the last version of WordPress 5.7.1 with the last theme version Newspaper 10.4 (if you have a theme version older, than NewsPaper 10.4 and you have the latest WP version 5.7.1, tagDiv Composer not work) and check to see if the problem persists.
If you need to make an update, before please make a full backup to all files and the database, in case something goes wrong. => https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Also, make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Also, if the problem persists please check if you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache (also from your browser) and try again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you
Hi,
Yes, newspaper theme has the option to expand the header, footer and content using the theme builder (tagDiv Composer).
Unfortunately, there is no exchange option for license and this can be done only by refunding for the current theme and buy another one, sorry!
In case that this theme is not what you need, you can make a refund request here -> https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new and we’ll approve it as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding!
I want to edit a test page in order to implement ad body tags. This is the test page in question: https://personacentral.com/test-page-venatus/
However, when I click on “Edit with tagDiv Composer” to add those ad elements as body tags to the test page, all of the contents on the page are distorted and smushed together. An example:

The page is reduced for some reason, when it is supposed to be longer with 5 paragraphs.
This happens with the other standalone pages on my site, as well. The only page that does not have this issue is the front/home page. Why is this?
Hello,
As you can see on the picture on the link WeTransfer below, I can’t display the elements from Tagdiv Composer on my page but only their name. It seems to be alt text.
Actions already done :
– cache cleared
– re-installation of theme and Tagdiv plugins
– Deactivation of all other plugins
– Verification of Php settings
– No other page builder installed
Please can you help me ? I can’t continue the website building.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
I am using a Custom Post Type. The plugin for doing that is called Pods (however, not sure if that is important).
The question is how do I enable TagDiv Composer for a custom post type? Assuming I am having a custom post type called “Product” and I want to edit Product using TagDiv Composer.
Many Thanks.
Good afternoon Support,
I recently updated my client’s website to the latest version of the theme and plugins and now the CPU Usage is always at 100%.
The website audience is able to browse the website due to the cache, but working in the back office has become almost impossible. There are also numerous “Resource Limit Is Reached” errors when my client tries to add articles or photos (or users try to search for something no the front office).
Initially I thought there could be some incompatibility between plugins, but after deactivating them all I found that CPU Usage only goes up dramatically ONLY when the tagDiv Composer plugin is activated. Deactivating this plugin, the values all return to normal.
Where can I send the access credentials to the backoffice and CPANEL for you to check?
Thanks for the help in this urgent situation.
Hi Anamaria.
Thank you for you initial reply. I have updated both wordpress (to 5.7.1) and the existing Newsmag theme (to 4.9.6). Still, once the theme has been uploaded, upon clicking activate I am presented with the following message:
Warning: require_once(legacy/Newspaper/functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/td-composer.php on line 184
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘legacy/Newspaper/functions.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php’) in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/td-composer.php on line 184
There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

I am leaning towards it being a problem with the local ddev setup as /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/td-composer.php may be where the file would have been on the original webserver. Is there something special needed to work on your themes locally?
Thanks
Martin
New setup and everything appears to be working EXCEPT when I add any sort of a text element via the tagdiv composer. I can get the “Edit Content” button to pop up the WP Editor and can insert the content (text) that I want, but there does not appear to be a way to get it to save the content so I can never publish it.
Hello,
Please do these steps
1. disable tagDiv Composer
2. delete tagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. re-install tagDiv Composer from Newspaper plugins => https://www.screencast.com/t/WLy01lbc
5. activate tagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi.
I have been instructed to move a website from your Newsmag theme to Your Newspaper theme. I am attempting to test in in a local ddev environment prior to making the changes to the live site.
However I cannot get the theme to install correctly. The theme zip file upload and when I try to activate it or run the live preview I get the following message:
Fatal error: Uncaught ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function {closure}(), 4 passed in /var/www/html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 287 and exactly 5 expected in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/css-analyze/css-analyze.php:510 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(287): {closure}(NULL, 7427, 'tdb_template_ty...', true) #1 /var/www/html/wp-includes/plugin.php(206): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #2 /var/www/html/wp-includes/meta.php(676): apply_filters('get_post_metada...', NULL, 7427, 'tdb_template_ty...', true) #3 /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_first_install.php(201): metadata_exists('post', 7427, 'tdb_template_ty...') #4 /var/www/html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(287): {closure}('') #5 /var/www/html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(311): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #6 /var/www/html/wp-includes/plugin.php(478): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #7 /var/www/html/wp-settings.php(524): do_action('after_setup_the...') #8 /var/www/ in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/css-analyze/css-analyze.php on line 510
I have also notice errors calling for files in the plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper folder that were no installed during the theme installation but are present in the full theme zip I originally downloaded. Do these files need uploading separately from the theme.
Attempting to uninstall the existing Newsmag theme and its plugins first, before installing the Newspaper theme bricked the site and I had to reset my dev environment.
Any help gratefully appreciated. I am supposed to be live by Monday with this.
Thanks
