Hello,
I recently switched themes and loaded newspaper 6 in subdirectory http://www.fullofevents.com/hawaii , imported posts and it shows posts received.
When I created the homepage using template provided I can only see layout under this address http://www.fullofevents.com/hawaii/index.php/homepage/
How can I get the layout to show on http://www.fullofevents.com/hawaii?

How can i hide some of the authors (sorted by id) from displaying on posts and homepage? Usually admins are posting and selecting authors for every post, but some posts don’t have “authors”, and current admin-name is being displayed. Thanks.

I’ve checked your site and the theme works fine but you don’t have set the featured image for your post, that’s why there is no image displayed on homepage. Try to set some featured images for your posts: http://screencast.com/t/tDU3mo4C then test the site again.

@robson2386 I’ve checked your site and noticed that when I access some posts the theme used to display them changes to newssetter: http://screencast.com/t/bj680EgsK9RR This is one of the those posts: http://motoday.pl/2015/06/16/bmw-serii-1-e87-jedyny-kompakt-z-napedem-na-tyl/ I am not sure why this happens but seems to affect site’s functionality and that’s why the featured image is not displayed on modules.
Make sure you have installed the Newsmag theme according with our documentation, also deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test the site again.

.home tells css to only apply the code to the homepage. If your page is not set as a homepage, then the code will not work. With your code, the css will apply on all pages.

1) Yes, he theme accent color affects more elements than the links themselves.
2) Not ALL links get this color. If a widget comes from wordpress, then it will get the color from wordpres. If the widget comes from a plugin. it will get the plugin style. There is no possible control over ALL widgets and elements.
3) and 4) Unfortunately there is no such option, but you could try a css trick to do it but this depends on the widgets you have on your site. They will also need to be targeted with the code. The post links on a homepage are links themselves. Do you want those as well changed? There are lots of variables to this request. I can provide this code but I will need a link to your website and an example or explanation to what links you want to change. There is no way for me to know how you have your site set-up or what widget you use or will use in the future.
5) We did try to do just that with the theme accent color, so all the links will have the same hover style as the rest of the theme, but this is very difficult to apply to external widgets and custom links.
You can try the css codes above in this topic but it’s a shot in the dark without me knowing what to change.

If I select the header 8, I can get the “header logo + menu” in fullscreen wide but only on my homepage.
On other pages, the “header logo + menu” is boxed (except for the menu becoming sticky and widest when I scroll the page).
Can I have a “header logo + menu” always in fullscreen wide ? On each page ?
As the “full menu + text logo” (10) can do.

The theme is SEO optimized, but that does not mean you can click a magic button and rankings are perfect. We understand that SEO is very important but the theme does not have in depth optimization options as there are lots of plugins that already do this. You can add H1 and H2 tags on your homepage inside a text block. That is not a ‘major issue’, but a design choice everyone has to make for better rankings. Tried to edit the homepage….but the Visual Composer wouldn’t work. So I did what the instructions were on how to update it…..but I can’t update through WordPress. Its to big and has to be FTPed. Problem is….I think I screwed up and deleted all files when I probably shouldn’t have. Now I am unsure as to what the name of the plugin folder should be to upload it via FTP. Please let me know what the name of the folder should be so I can get the updated plugin uploaded via FTP and I can fix the site.

For some reason the homepage of my site http://www.patchofearth.com has the correct font in the navbar: http://www.patchofearth.com/

The top element is a big grid 1, the bottom element is probably a block 3. i’m not sure fropm the screenshot, but the bottom line is that everything can be added in visual composer. Please follow this topic to see how to use visual composer:

Please note that if visual composer does not work properly on your side, there was an issue with visual comp[oser and the new version of WordPress. In this case you need to update your theme and the visual composer plugin by following these guides:

Im having issues on our site using the Newsmag Theme. I have both these issues persist even after I uploaded a backup from when the site was last functioning properly.
Issue #1: Login link on the header nav does not popup
Issue #2: Images are not showing on the homepage. I can see on the css that their opacity is set to 0. Updating the css however does not fix the issue.
