Hello!
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
Thank you!

You can build a sidebar with the TagDiv Composer. Steps:
1. Insert one new row (or delete an existing one).
2. Divide into two columns (2/3 + 1/3).
3. You can add whatever element you want to the second column and consider it a sidebar.
Thank you!
Hello!
Make sure that the theme and plugins are up to date.
Check if you have the Standard Pack plugin installed and active in Newspaper -> Plugins. (default templates)
execute these steps:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. install TagDiv Composer
4. activate TagDiv Composer
Deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones; if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser), and see the results.
Thank you!
The main menu flashes up then vanishes. So I cannot set any subscription settings. Has been like this since the installation.
Lead Emails – work
Lead Lists – work
Lockers – work
Subscriptions – nothing and cannot setup
256m memory limit. Ajax file is set to 660 in admin. But still nothing.
Any tips?
Hi there,
I cannot get the Instagram follower count to be correct in the Social Counter plugin. This is related to this issue. The plugin is freshly installed, account with correct follower count displays in the backend. WP Rocket, Kinsta cache and CDN cache have been cleared. I tried setting manually, and then unsetting it, but no luck.
Can you please advise what steps I can take to ensure the correct follower count displays?
Thank you.
Yes, all released updates have been installed
Hello @nerdlifemag !
No. You shouldn’t buy it. Just use the free features in order to do that. Just install the plugin from Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New.
Thank you!
I have installed the “tagDiv EastCoast Check PRO Demo Plugin” but how can we post or use it as there is no documentation? I am using the default Newspaper theme.
Hello @nimbro!
This is a visible problem with cache. So, please uninstall all the caching tools that you have.
Thank you!
Hello George!
Check if you have the Standard Pack plugin installed and active in Newspaper -> Plugins.

Hello!
Unfortunately, we do not have so many settings for the mobile theme plugin.
I recommend using the new cloud templates in order to achieve that.
Actually, we have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

I bought Newspaper a few years ago because I was planning to start a blog. I bought a domain and then loaded the theme to the domain. I couldn’t get things set up and never went live with my blog. So it literally was installed on a domain that wasn’t used. I am now going to actually start a website but can’t get my old domain back since I let it expire and now have a new domain. I want to make sure that I can still use my license without having to pay again since I never used it the first time around. I’ve bought the domain but haven’t bought the hosting yet. I wanted to wait to make sure that this was still useable without having to pay again. When I reached out before, the person I spoke to said you could install to a site to test and then install again for a live site as long as you were the owner and not doing it for profit. I am the owner and it will be my website. Do I need to email someone to “reactivate” the license? Thank You! 🙂
Hello! I have the Social Icons element pre-installed in our footer as part of one of the Newspaper Themes we use. For some reason, instead of directing to social, each icon adds the page in view to the front of the address. For example, if you’re on this page:
https://rareparenting.com/books-for-children-about-disability
and you click the twitter icon in the footer, you are redirected to:
https://rareparenting.com/books-for-children-about-disability/www.twitter.com/rareparenting
instead of to the twitter page. Each icon adds the page in view to the front of the twitter address.
Can you explain how to fix this? Also, how do I update the twitter icon to the new “x” twitter logo?
Thank you!
Best,
Megan
yes, it is installed correctly, still iam getting different versions on mobile.. please help me fix this
Hello!
Please check in Newsmag -> Plugins that the mobile theme is installed and activate correctly.
Clear all the cache and try again.
Thank you!
I think it happened because I edited the style.css file and uploaded it, the plugin crashed and uninstalled itself. This seems to be an issue.
Hello @central!

If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
After every modification, you need to re-index your website.
Thank you!
I encountered the same error, the Cloud Templates plugin was somehow deactivated or uninstalled, I re-installed it from the Theme Panel and the error got fixed.
I think this happened when I manually tried to Check For Updates from the Updates tab.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Ok. So there is no native option with the theme.
I’d like to be sure of this point before installing a new plugin.
Best Regards,
Julien
I tried the time machine but it had only till 12.2 I want to go still behind in time, becuase none of th options in time machine is working for me(all is breaking my website)
I want version 10 or 11.
What can I do? Will reinstalling help?
Becuasing intially I had version 11 now today I upgraded website broke and unable to go to back to 11.
Hello!
Check in the Newspaper Time Machine: https://prnt.sc/-Kmipakgge1T in Newspaper -> Updates.
A code in your frontend is appearing only when you have a plugin uninstalled when it should be installed, so instead of the code, it will display the element from that plugin.
Check in the Newspaper -> Plugins. Check if you have the Standard Pack plugin installed and active (for default templates).
Thank you!
