I am using the Newspaper theme and have successfully activated it.
When I attempt to install the tagDiv Newsletter plugin, I simply get a page saying “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page”. I also get the same message when trying to install any of the other tagDiv optional plugins (tagDiv Multi-Purpose & tagDiv AMP)
What could be the problem?

I put a widget side bar on one of my pages just as you explained. ON the build page it shows as a solid red line all the way across, instead of having a break like in the photo you showed me.

Is the page it is installed on. and the widgetbar is showing up in the main body of the page. How do I fix this? The currency converted and rss news feed are the sidebar items.

I use a row on my homepage with two colums: 7/12 + 5/12 Created in Visual Composer. (My website: http://airportal.hu/ – see the top part of the page)
When I install & switch on Tagdiv Composer that part of the page appears in one column (1/1).
I’d use Tagdiv Composer because it’s nice plugin, but because of thes problem I had to get rid of it.
Would you fix this maybe in the next releases?

Visual Composer (WPBakery Page Builder) and PHP 7.2 compatibility
Unfortunately, there are compatibility issues when you are using the Visual Composer (WPBakery Page Builder) v 5.4.5 with PHP 7.2. This is not a theme related issue, it occurs with any other WordPress theme in an installation with PHP 7.2. As you can check here the WPBakery team is aware of this compatibility issue and will be soon releasing an update to address it.
One temporary solution is to ask your hosting provider to switch to a version of PHP prior to PHP 7.2. This is safe, easy and free.

I’ve updated from 8.5~ to 8.7.2 as I wanted to take advantage of the new built-in Newsletter plugin. I activated it under the Newsletter plugin section with no problems and I can see it under my Installed Plugins section. However, I’m not seeing Newsletter under tagDiv Composer. In fact, when I look at your tutorial under the docs on how to use Newsletter, I can see your tagDiv composer looks vastly different from mine.
I’ve deactivated tagDiv composer and reactivated it to see if that would do anything and it did not.
I also DO NOT have FTP access.

I’ve installed the Fitness blog plugin and would like to know how to change the background color of the sidebar columns? It’s currently gray, but I’d like to change it to plain white.
Also, I’ve installed the WP Super cache plugin as you guys suggested it, but the site is still running slow; is there any way to specifically set the plugin to see some improvements?
Do you recommend resizing pictures before uploading them to the site, or will it be fine to upload them directly from your camera. Will doing so affect the speed of the site?
Lastly, after setting my permalink to custom structure, when I directly click on a category name in the Main Menu, the browser displays the link as follows: the website address, the word “category” follows, then actual category name. I don’t want the word “category” between the site’s address and the category’s name. I checked the demo, I noticed the same display format. Is there any suggestions to help me fix the issue?
I was also wondering if the use of tags is necessary? Do I have to use tags along my categories?

Hello. I installed the theme via FTP again. Enabled first twentyseventeen theme and then reactivated Newspaper. The posts in draft are corrected with the sidebar in its place but those already in draft are correct with the sidebar in place

Hi Catalin, thanks but it seems I already have TD Composer 2.1, and the cache was cleared yesterday. I re-installed the theme and it has the latest TD Composer in it. Not sure why that isn’t working.

Something has happened indeed, the HTML structure of the page is broken from what I can see. This could happen because of modifications in the theme files, or code entered in them or maybe theme panel code sections.
If you did not make any modifications to the theme files, then it could be the case that the theme did not install properly. Try reinstalling it by FTP if possible

I have inspected your source page and I saw that you get some errors from your console, sorry! It seems that you are using some untested plugins which can break the theme functionality. Please remove all of these, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. If the problem is still there, I suggest you make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way to another subdomain and check the results.

There were such issues in the previous theme version, but they are fixed in 8.7.2. Most users do not have this problem anymore. Re-download the theme package and install it

By FTP would be most recommended. Deactivate all other plugins, leave only theme plugins active. If you use Visual composer, deactivate the tagDiv composer. If you use the tagDiv composer make sure it is version 2.1

That element is simply called “Slide” in the tagDiv composer

It should be present in the composer element list by default. If it is not then there is a problem. Try deactivating and removing the composer plugin, then install it again from the theme plugins panel. The composer plugin is now version 2.1.
Additionally deactivate all other plugins except theme plugins as a quick test, check if this has any effect. It is unusual that only the slide is missing. Let us know the results.

Sorry but please notice this problem does not come from our theme, sorry! You should protect your website if you do not want to be infected. Use the useful resources and suggestion from these topics

Scan the website and database for malware as shown. Remove all plugins, reinstall only theme plugins provided in the official theme package.

Clear cache browser, CTRL+SHIFT+R and also, try to use another browser, purge CDN files and check the results. Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way and check the results.

Ensure that your theme has been installed via FTP way and the TD COmposer has been updated to the latest version of it. The TD Composer should not disappear if you will not remove it, sorry! Try my advice and check the results.

Hi I just purchased this theme and installed it today. Was trying to format a customized homepage and following the directions. Clicked on the Tagdiv in the page editor and it only goes to a gray page.
I’ve shut down all plugins to see if it was a plugin issue, and it still didn’t work. Not sure what else I can do.
