Hi,
Yes, certain content is not allowed to be posted on the forum (as a precautionary measure).
These seem to be the queries that are blocks made. Maybe they can be optimized if the page is removed (https://i.imgur.com/7D8ucnt.png).
If you can do a staging or put your site on a subdomain we would like to connect to the site and see what we can do to improve these queries.
Let me know if you agree with this!
Thank you!

Hi, When I was trying to optimize the showing of ads on the site I came across this Bug

In ads the “AsSense size” is working, but the “Disable on Phone” is misconfigured.

–> For example, if i “Disable on Phone” the “Header AD”, it will disable in reality the “Custom ad 1” on main page and the “Sidebar ad” on single pages

–> For example, if i “Disable on Phone” the “Article Bottom Ad” it will disable in reality the “Sidebar ad” on single pages

I did not try all the options because it’s a live website, but can you please check this

Thanks

Hi,

I have an issue reg. google fonts on mobile. When I disable this option (google f. option) in control panel for Newsmagazine, I can still see this same font on mobile (of course after purging cache and cleraing google history on mobile) as per desktop, furthermore the google fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) are still visible and slowing page (as per google page speed snippet).
The only chance, as I see, to eliminate google fonts is to disable them for desktop and mobile. Is it right? I would really appreciate to have right font on desktop and custom (newsmag) on mobile to optimize the page speed for mobile.

My page rehef.pl

Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Jaro

Hi,
Most of the css is coming from standard pack.
My suggestion is to move from standard pack to cloud templates. The cloud templates will load only the necessary css so the css will be more optimized -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/action-required-please-read-how-to-update-to-the-newspaper-theme-v-10/

Hi,
I just checked your website and indeed I see that problem once on a post, but after refresh the problem was gone.
Unfortunately, I didn’t cache the problem again to see if the css is the correct one or if is something interfering.
Do you use some cache or optimize plugin? This problem is also happening when you are logged in?
Thank you!

Hello @mgiannelis!

A good choice for the page speed, it could be the mobile layout which contain less elements because it can improve a bit your page speed.
Our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update, so make sure you use the latest update(11.4.2).
Some factors which you need to take into account are:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not, if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.

Hi, I have a question about the Thumbs on Modules/Blocks section. I see that it can be enabled and disabled, but I also see that it generates copies in the images and wp already does that and therefore many images are generated, they could clarify to optimize capacity and performance.

Hi guys. Thank you very much for all the support so far in each topic.

Here’s a new thing we’re trying to optimize on our site. We would like our writers to be able to put the feature video link in the Feature Video box, but this field doesn’t display in the Authors view.

If they could use this box it would be much faster to review and publish their works so we we’re hoping there’s a way to make this field available and visible to them. Image of the box here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YXuYmILhK6-atA3tvoGx_fw016VE69qR/view?usp=sharing

Hello!

Regarding to the CPU usage issue and DB queries, we are trying to find a solution as soon as possible.
The Standard Pack plugin can be uninstalled if you do not use default templates. We recommend to use cloud templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Documentation here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/

Hello @sekhar!

Access the category pages from your website and click on the green button “Edit with the TagDiv Composer“.

This situation appears when you are using the mobile theme plugin and the cache plugin that you have does not feature options for a separate mobile theme plugin therefore do not know when to deliver the mobile version and when to deliver the desktop version.
We tested with our theme the WP Super Cache and with the settings from our guide this is working correctly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If the problem occurs, then make sure you haven’t extra non-tagdiv plugins which are not tested with our theme and re-install the Mobile theme plugin.

Hello Ben!

I’ve checked your website and it seems that your responsive version looks similar as your desktop. If you use a mobile page, then please assign it again and see the results.

I can see that the register button doesn’t work at all, neither in desktop. Please re-check!

Hi,

I am checking now. From what I see the menu doesn’t work correctly while logged out, on any device/browser. When logged in it works fine https://i.imgur.com/nlWYIhO.png

This can happen due to caching or various optimizations, which normally apply only when logged out.

I have investigated the problem on your website, and disabled a setting from the optimizer plugin used on the website https://i.imgur.com/CwWXWHt.png

Now the menu seems to work correctly at all times https://i.imgur.com/G4XFGJg.png

Could you please check as well and let us know?

Hi,
The theme functions were moved in the theme plugins, this was a requirement from envato -> https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
The css can be minified using a cache or optimize plugin, also you can try the CSS Analyzer tool -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/

Hello,

1. When you create mobile pages with TagDiv Composer with Mobile Theme plugin installed, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
2. and 3. Please provide more details, like screenshots. If you create mobile templates/mobile pages you need to convert the existent header/footer like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/HrjOBNayd

Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.

4. For the category template, if you have set a posts loop then will display all posts in this category or you can use Flex Block 1 and set the filter to “Category -Current category” => https://i.imgur.com/7P99qx0.png

Thank you!

Hi maxonline,
I understand. What I can suggest is to replace the background featured element(Single Post BG Featured Image) with “Single Post Featured Image” this element has more elements optimized and should provide better results. Also the code for rel=”preload” class=”tdb_single_featured_image img” as=”image” should work now, before (Single Post BG Featured Image) the image was set using css and not static html. Also you can try it using class=”entry-thumb”
I hope this will help you!

Hi guys.
Google Pagespeed identifies this as the LCP of my blogposts:

div.vc_column > div.wpb_wrapper > div.td_block_wrap > div.tdb-featured-image-bg
<div class=”tdb-featured-image-bg”>

I am trying using ” <link rel=”preload”> ” for that asset across my website.
I tried
<link rel=”preload” class=”tdb-featured-image-bg” as=”image”>
but not shure it’s working and where to use it.
Can you help me or show alternative methods (on mobile, desktop works fine without preload)
I adopted every other optimization I know, but some optimization prevent the page to load images.
Thank you

Hi,
The problem with composer can be from some extra plugins that were/are used, you can make a test using only tagDiv Composer and exiting should look and work normal.
I just checked the ueber uns page an now this seems to be ok -> https://i.imgur.com/EyG6X8U.png
About the pagespeed, this depends on more factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors.
If you want you can try our guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ also there are many guide on this forum that can help.

Hello @fdellanna@ideacreativa.eu!

It seems that you use Mobile Theme plugin. The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
If you deactivate the Mobile Theme plugin from Dashboard -> Plugins, then it will load your responsive version automatically(different layout than now, similar as desktop).

Setup: WordPress + the theme + yoast
Action: setup Yoast -> run optimizer -> Yoast is doing ajax requests to its own API and the WordPress API

Most requests are parsed correctly, then suddenly on one of the /post responses, the modal is added (while the json response is there too, it’s not an authentication issue).

Can I do something to fix this myself? Also, why are all the tdb_templates reachable on my site and how did the crawler find them?
