Just one question, I created a single page template. How to apply it for News category only.
I just installed the Newspaper theme and I don’t have any access of TagDiv on the page. I can access TagDiv if I install a cloud template, but the template does not save.
As suggested on a previous post, I did add <IfModule mod_substitute.c> SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M </IfModule> to the .htaccess file.
Any help would be appreciated

You can do this using some single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library and edit them with tagDiv Composer and set/remove date, in this way You’ll set the single post template on the News category with date and for the rest of post you can set the other single post template.

You can set widgets to display by language, instead of translating them. You can even set footer pages that will switch when the language is changed

The footer page can be used if you want to display a page in the footer, instead of a footer template. It will affect the whole website. The predefined footer templates are limited in some ways, so in this case a page designed with the composer for example, can be set to display there.
That depends, for example if the pages contain theme provided elements, like blocks and grids, these should work regardless of the composer used or being active. But if the pages contain specific WPBakery elements like tabs, accordions, masonry grids, these won’t be recognized by the composer. The same would happen if a page contains composer specific elements, and it is edited with WPBakery.

To change the overall width in general is not possible. In locations where the composer can be used (like pages and cloud templates) the content can be stretched, rows have a few width settings for it – http://prntscr.com/nzt6tu This will allow wider layouts.

I am new to Newspaper9 but I think that it could be awesome for a lot of our projects.
I use Elementor as a website builder. I have had no issues importing templates from Elementor into Avada and BeTheme, but I just tried importing a new template into a new install of Newspaper 9.7.
I have the main demo installed with content. I have the base of the plugins that I typically use installed (yes I deactivated them and still got the same error that I am writing about) into the site and I was about to start pulling in pages (Elementor Templates).
I imported my template from Elementor theme (Stratus) and imported it into Newspaper9.
I made sure that I created a new page that was set up correctly in Newspaper9 and imported the template.
The issue is that there is NOT an option for parallax in the Elementor Editor / Style. I compared both installs…

Hello – I’ve created a page where I have one large single image at the top and I’d like to add several images in a row beneath that. I’d also like to have a sidebar on this page.
When I originally create the single image and the sidebar, it looks fine (though there is some white space underneath). https://www.screencast.com/t/luS2gURONen

I tried to assign sidebars on the Page Template settings but I received the error “While using a pagebuilder sidebar settings are not available”

Newspaper 9 is great but some elements have disappeared
1) I had a widgetised sidebar made via wordpress, after the update i can’t see the sidebar on the homepage, but it is present in all the other pages
when i go to page template settings, i get this :”While using a pagebuilder sidebar settings are not available. To add a sidebar on page use the widgetised sidebar block.”
2) so I started manually recreating all the sidebar widgets in the homepage, but there is no HTML box for custom code ( i went around it using the custom ad box)
3) I’ve got third party widget for newsletter sign up that don’t work anymore on the homepage, how can I add them back?

I have installed Newspaper 9 theme to my wordpress and I am unable to import the demo content or cloud templates. I host with godaddy. I have followed the requirements page with respect to php.ini updates and other configurations. Could you please provide guidance.
Hi, With the new update, I am not able to change the date published to date modified in posts. I am currently using DEFAULT SITE POST TEMPLATE- style 2.
I was asked to enable the following option https://www.screencast.com/t/Sid5R3402T7 which is already enabled.
Date modified is only showing on homepage and archives and not on single post/articles.

Got a fix for this. Go to wp-includes/comment-template.php, and then to the function comments_template.
Under the first if function, insert this:

Should look like this:

Basically stops the function from running if it’s a post preview. Fixes it nicely.

I am not sure of changing the “No posts to display” text as there is no filter for that you would have to update the page template.

Seems that there is still a demo image set somewhere in the theme panel, that was not changed. This image causes a mixed content warning – http://prntscr.com/nyqslz
Try looking for it here – http://prntscr.com/nyqsyt remove it or change it with one of your images.
I checked the website on mobile, looks fine. That is how the mobile theme looks. If you don’t want the mobile theme, you can deactivate it as it is an optional plugin. Then the same content from desktop will appear on mobile.
The latest articles section will appear at the bottom of the page, if the required template is selected for the respective page – https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
To remove it select a different template, like the default page template for example.

Please notice that you can edit with tagDiv Composer only the pages/templates build with tagDiv Composer.
Usually these would be the main causes for composer issues

Could be caused by a plugin. Try as a quick test to deactivate all non-theme plugins, then check if the issue is solved. Is it happening even for new pages?
