Then the same solution from here would work
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/can-i-disable-more-articles-on-a-post-category/

Related articles is available as an element in cloud single templates, so this is possible without code modifications. A post template will or will not display it, according to your choice
https://www.screencast.com/t/CXHnov1JfLf
You can create as many post templates as you want, with or without the related articles sections

Hi,

You can create as many category templates as you want. Each can be built in any way possible with the tagDiv composer
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
So for example built a category template with the elements you want, or import a predefined category template and modify it if needed. Then apply the template for the categories you want, in the theme panel.
The cloud library plugin will allow you to create category templates easily.

Thanks

Hi,

1. If you are referring to modules (which form blocks and grids) these will display only one category tag. This is block 1 for example
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/

The category tag that will represent the post is the primary category of the post. If one is not set manually, the theme will pick the first one alphabetically. If there is only one category, that will be primary.

Here you can find out more about the primary category, how can it be set manually and what elements are affected by it
https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/

If this is not what you wanted to know, please correct me.

2. The font size for the post titles on mobile is predefined, I believe to 32px. if you change the size in the theme panel it will apply on desktop, but on mobile the same 32px will be used. With the optional mobile theme plugin it will be 30px.

That is the case for the predefined post templates. It can be changed with some CSS if needed. I can provide it to you. Mention how you would like it to be.

However if you use a cloud post template, the post template can be designed with the tagDiv composer
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
You will be able to set one size for desktop, and one for mobile
https://www.screencast.com/t/u3R6zvkq8b
The new cloud templates will allow many possibilities, which the predefined post template don’t have.

Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hello alebasur,

Do you have edited this page? If you have a category page, notice that you should use a custom template from Category Templates which can be edited with TD Composer. Check here
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Good luck!

Hi,

That is not possible by a theme setting. The ads will display at all times once entered in the theme panel, there are no options to exclude category pages specifically.

The theme ad system is simple, enter ad codes and they will appear. Most users that require more advanced control over the ads use the Adrotate plugin. This would have the settings you are looking for
http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-manage-ads-in-wordpress-with-adrotate-plugin/
https://ajdg.solutions/manuals/adrotate-manuals/

Another way would be with cloud templates. With the Cloud library plugin you can design post templates and category templates. These can be built in any way you want
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

For example in a template for posts, the ads can be entered in the template directly (theme panel ads will not appear)
https://www.screencast.com/t/6pxiECJWukcO

So you can create a post template without entering ads there, the theme panel ads will not be displayed so the post will have no ads. The template can be applied to the posts you want.

Hello,

Sorry but we do not know of any plugin that works properly with our theme that ca auto load the next posts.
The 3 columns on posts is already available in the current version of the theme using the new cloud library plugin that lets you create a post template using the tagdiv composer page builder: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
This example only show how to import a template but once imported in the tagdiv composer you can edit the template using the page builder and split the content into multiple columns.

Thank you!

So you want that page “ALBUMRECENSIES” to show up in the mega-menu, instead of the sub-category page. The mega-menu only works with categories, displays posts from categories. It is not supposed to display pages, that is what the page menu would be for.

But what would be the purpose of including the page instead of the sub-category exactly? Category templates can now be built just like pages, with the tagDiv composer so the design of the category page is not a problem.

Maybe leave it as a category maybe, and design a category template as you want with the tagDiv composer. You can make the category template exactly as the page you created with the flex block
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Please try and make use of the available theme options instead of code modifications if possible, these might not work with future theme modifications by update or even be lost after an update.

We try to add more features with each update, more multi-purpose options for both news publishing and other areas. But these take time and lots of testing.

Hello,

If you want a specific category layout, you will have to use the cloud library plugin and import a category layout. Then you can customize it in the tagdiv composer and save the template. Then you can apply the template you created to your category page in the theme panel under the per category settings: https://www.screencast.com/t/ibY7kWFeTD

Thank you!

Hi,

I tried with “bottom” – https://www.screencast.com/t/jmdLDdz1CVYD

For some reason that returns the homepage. Pages are included in the search results. The excerpts for pages cannot be controlled, they will be picked automatically from the page content. Some unusual results can be displayed in the excerpt field.

A solution would be to display the search results in a module that does not show excerpts
https://www.screencast.com/t/1ZwidjL7sxhl

Or create your own search template with the cloud plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

The way the WordPress search works it is quite common to return relevant result. This is a much discussed topic online. Many users install dedicated plugins when it comes to a better search functionality, or simply remove it entirely.

Hi,

The flex block does have an option to display the whole post meta above the thumbnail
https://www.screencast.com/t/pHYtwWPk
You could use flex blocks instead of predefined blocks. Doe to their flexibility, one can build entire pages with flex blocks
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/flex-block/

The subtitle can be positioned anywhere in the single post page. Drag and drop it in the location that you want
https://www.screencast.com/t/BQWfdagWzlZl
That is easily done with the cloud library plugin and tagDiv composer, post template can be design in many ways
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
More beautiful templates will be added in coming updates, for posts as well.

Thanks

Hi,

The thumbnails will be cropped center-top, not from the left
https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image/
These modules have predefined thumbnail sizes, they cannot be changed.

If none of the modules display the images properly, you could experiment with the cloud category templates
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
The post loop element used in category pages uses the flex module used in flex blocks
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/flex-block/
The module has options to change how it looks, maybe you can use those settings to design a module that displays the images better
https://www.screencast.com/t/ABiVG9r70

Hi,

@Ozt
The edit with composer option in the admin bar appears only for pages. If you want to use the composer on categories, use the cloud library plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Then you will be able to create/import category templates (not pages) using the composer. These templates can then be applied for the categories in the theme panel.

So the main problem you have is only with the homepage same as above? We could take a look, send us an email at stated above and provide all the details.

Hello meri,

Notice that you can use TD Composer for single templates if you will choose another one from Cloud Library. Please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello rocketman,

If you want to have that layout for your single post pages, we recommend using the Single Post templates from Cloud Library and then, with TD Composer you can customize it as you wish. Check here the theme’s documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

The cloud library plugin will work only with theme versions 8.8 and above. It will work only with the tagDiv composer as well and will allow users to design post templates easily. More beautiful templates are on their way.

For adding a new post template by code there is no guide I can provide you. You could modify an existing one if required. In a loop file you can modify the structure of the template (it is possible to modify it in a child theme)
https://www.screencast.com/t/HujVnLkOu

Depending on what exactly you want to do with the template, CSS may have to be used as well
https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

If you should decide to update the theme and benefit from all the fixes and additions from 8.1 until 8.8.2, this is a guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

You can see the changelog at the bottom of this page

The predefined content does not appear there, by predefined I mean in the actual footer template PHP file.

If you use a predefined template and also add widgets to those footer columns, they will be displayed below the predefined content
https://www.screencast.com/t/qc0TOzluHQw
https://www.screencast.com/t/KJbxmHNOVR

If you choose an empty template, there will be no predefined content, only you widgets will be displayed
https://www.screencast.com/t/rFt15ZC1b1
https://www.screencast.com/t/rcG5zzIxaAG

You can also create a page with the tagDiv composer and display that in the footer if you want to, instead of a footer template
https://www.screencast.com/t/xmve6Fi7Mvbv
The cloud library plugin provides some footer pages that can be imported and set. You can import and then modify these if needed, or create your own page
https://www.screencast.com/t/ot5bVXTz
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions and I will try to help you.

Hello miguel_dimase,

I suppose that you want to change the position of your Category Tag from your modules on pages and for your single posts, right? If you want to affect the modules, you should edit the module files like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/v53mtUjVC1QS (from here you can change the position of the category tag) and if you want to make some changes over that section on your posts, notice that you need to choose or create your single post template from Cloud Library and then, edit it with TD Composer and change the position of the Category Tag, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/0q5T8CIenOdM
For more information about our Cloud Library Template, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Thanks for your understanding!

Indeed, the category templates can now be created with the tagDiv composer and cloud library plugin, use any elements available. We will add more beautiful ready made templates in coming updates.

So you are referring to this menu? – https://www.screencast.com/t/IatOqgCMPu
That seems to be made with a plugin or some other implementation, can’t say exactly. You could use the list menu element instead
https://www.screencast.com/t/4u8sycOspJ

The thumbnails in the post loop section in the cloud category templates can be modified, the loop uses a flex module

Sorry but there is no option to turn of the parallax for the post templates. You ca try a different template as there are many more to choose from now with the new cloud template plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Hi,

So you want to position the author box in the post page differently in the post structure, from the bottom of the article page to the top.

I see you use the latest theme version, so with the help of the tagDiv composer and Cloud library plugin that will be possible.

With the cloud plugin you can now design post templates as you wish. Choose a blank template if you want to start from scratch, or a predefined cloud template which you can use as it is or modify it
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

So for example dragging and dropping the author box in a different location will be easy

Hi,

You can use the tagDiv composer to build post templates among many other templates, but not actual individual posts
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
You can have as many templates as needed, and apply them for any posts you want.

Hi,

That issue with the Cloud library seems to still happen for some users, despite some fix attempts on our side. We will continue to investigate the possible causes for this to happen. We appreciate any user feedback and we will try to improve the Cloud beta plugin.

What you could check is the theme system status panel and theme requirements guide, see if any modifications have to be made
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Insufficient resources can cause many problems. You can try to make these modifications yourself or contact the hosting provider.

Also in some cases the solutions from these topics fixed composer issues
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/

Let us know what you find.

Hello,

When installing and activating the tagDiv Cloud Library plugin, I instantly see a problem Error 500 on the WP Dashboard. The website stays active on the frontend, but when I try accessing the WP Dashboard (wp-admin) I get the error and can’t access it.

The problem is the plugin definitely because when I rename its folder via FTP the site dashboard works fine again.

I tried your solution for memory limit in wp-config to set to 256M, but that didn’t solve the problem.

Can you please help?

Thanks!

Not in the actual post page, in the cloud template section
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Form there you can manage your templates, add new ones, modify them etc.
