Let me clarify what I am doing. For a trial, I have installed Newspaper 8.7 on a fresh WordPress where there is no VC installed. Only TD composer. I imported blogs from our online website which also uses Newspaper but with VC. I am not using TD as yet on the online website.
When I try to create a trial home page on the fresh WordPress installation using TD as mentioned above, the images are displayed differently as shown in my first post on this thread. That is the issue.
I am afraid of trying to regenerate images in case it destroys what we have online which works without any problem. The whole point is about switching to TD composer safely without losing what we have. Hope I am clearer now.
likely a plugin issue then. update the TD Composer plugin. Hope that works – I’ve been using the theme for three years but I’m no expert 🙂
I’d also suggest get a clone page/post plugin and keep a backup of your homepage saved as a draft available in case you need to replace it in an emergency.

Now that you mentioned it I don’t see TD composer anymore!
I’m not an admin here but I’ve had a similar problem following other updates.
Try clicking “Edit with TD Composer” at the top of the homepage – that is if you built it the page with TD Composer – if not, then you need to.
If you did, then when in TD Composer you should see the problem or delete that block and reinsert it again.
If that doesn’t work make sure you have the latest TD Composer update.

I’m having some issues regarding the TD Composer. When I try to add a Block 4 in preview mode it works properly but as soon as I update and save the changes it breaks. I’ve added a screenshot so you can see what’s going on. I also tried to clear cache on server and browser but the error persists.
The second issue is when I try to set under Block 11 -> Filter -> Sort order -> Popular (last 7 days). It won’t show only the post from the last 7 days instead, it shows me posts from 2 months ago.

It is imperative that the parameters mentioned in the guide are configured properly. Insufficient resources can cause many issues with the theme or the plugins, if needed ask your hosting provider to increase them as specified.
If there is no need for modifications in that matter, in some cases the solutions from these topics worked for blank pages and other composer problems, you could give them a try if possible

Let us know the results after trying these suggestions. Be sure to use the tagDiv composer on pages that were created with it only. All the elements in the page have to be added through it.

If you use Visual Composer on your site, please deactivate tagdiv composer plugin.
Please edit your td_block_text_with_title.php file and replace all the content with – https://pastebin.com/GyidRDHY It will remove the default text from frontent.
This fix was implemented also into the latest theme version 8.7.4 (released today).

It seems to be strange. Do you have tried to add some TD Composer elements to your homepage? Ensure that your theme has been correctly installed via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, you should send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further investigate it closer your setup page.

I am facing a problem that when I click on the edit with TD composer it load and show blank page help me.
Upgraded to Newspaper 8.7 and now my posts are having issues. On post pages the row created by visual composer overlaps the sidebar.
Aos tried to remove Html code here! Replace this with any non empty text and that’s it. from posts home page and it still displays on the page. The code has been removed from:

1. I’m using https://wordpress.org/plugins/unite-gallery-lite/ plugin to build image gallery. It provides shortcode [unitegallery fotogallery] to use. When I edit my homepage in text mode and place shortcode, it appears fine but using my TD visual composer, I’m unable to use this shortcode. Problem of using shortcode in text mode is, whenever I update any elements using TD composer, the change made using shortcode disappears immediately 🙁 Whats the solution?

That could be caused by insufficient resources, the theme has some requirements for the server and WordPress configuration

Check the theme system status and ask your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources, then check the results.
Also it could be caused by plugin interference, try deactivating all of them except theme plugins and check if this has any effect.

2. Depending on the page builder used, both have options to hide elements for specific device. A related topic here

These are tested and work as expected. As a note, if you use WPBakery page builder to create pages, deactivate the tagDiv composer. The tagDiv composer may prevent the option to hide elements of WPBakery from functioning.
3. With WPBakery page builder that will not be possible. There are no options to color the block title fonts or background. The tagDiv composer has such options.
You could use CSS to color them by block type for example

I just bouth the theme Newspaper8. I’ve activated it with the purchased code… the problem is that i can’t install plugins include the Tagdiv composer … i have my WP in FTP server. Once i put the password to download the plugin this message appear:

Hmm, I really like the single image with text and how it renders in Visual Composer. It’s unfortunate that all these teething problems are occurring with TD composer. As I’ve said in many posts, I really love the Newspaper theme and have promoted it to a lot of people. I just with you guys weren’t making a concerted effort to push everyone away from Visual Composer. Here are some of the other issues I’ve had with TD composer echoed by other users:

That’s unfortunate. I really like Visual Composer and it’s sad you’re pushing users away from it. As I mentioned in a different post, the TD composer editor pane does not format correctly on my Mac or any Mac using Sierra OS (https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/td-composer-editor-pane-margin/).
I really like the Newspaper theme and have been a loyal promoter of your theme to others. I still think it’s an excellent theme, but I’ll admit I’m not happy about more and more options being cut from Visual Composer. It’s just causing me to waste more time working out the bugs on TD composer to try and do the most basic things (https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-composer-space-below-single-image/).

After upgrading to 8.7 the td composer does not work and is not even an option to use. At first the button for td composer was there right after the upgrade. Then when clicked I got the error below then it simply became unavailable in all edit pages.
What can be done to fix this?

I am working on a website with the theme of newspaper, I did not install any demo I want to work clean. then I want to edit the shop page by default of woocomerce with the tagdiv composer plugin but I get an error. Previously I was working on the same website but this time I had installed a demo of dentist, at that time I could edit normally with tagdiv composer to the woocommerce store page. I just did the test by reinstalling a demo but in any case it does not allow me to edit the page by store defector. At first I thought it was mandatory to install some demo. please I need help. I have correctly configured wp-super-chache and also the load limits I have in 512mb, the php.ini is also correctly configured. yesterday everything was fine. and today what I did is just uninstall the demo and nothing else, I also reinstalled new file of the updated theme, I did not install any plugin apart from what I had before when everything was working normally. this error only shows when you edit the shop page by default of woocommerce. in the rest, everything is fine.
