Hi there,
We have been using the NewsMag 5.21 Theme for the last 3 years with no issues. However, we have just bought the Newspaper 12 Theme today and after installing, every time we activate the theme it breaks the WordPress with “There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” error. So we rename the Newspaper Theme to be bale to get back to WP Admin area with the old NewsMag5.21 theme.

I suspect having the same plugings from the same developer might be causing a theme/plugin conflict issue and might try to deactivate or delete some of the same plugings, but would want to see hear your suggestions as soon as possible.

1. This is the name of the CPT because that page is a CPT post and not a regular article.
2. The custom taxonomy type slug name is tdtax_services, and the CPT slug name is tdcpt_directories.
These names were given when the CPTs were created. The best thing you can do is to create your own CPTs and use them on your website.
1. The filter is multi, so there you have entertainment and also from Albany. If you verify the services from Albany, then you will see only directories of cafes and restaurants, not entertainment. Yes, there are no results for the selected filter.
2. If you want to delete only one and see your active filters, then you can add them with the TagDiv Composer’s Flex Loop Active Filters List element.

When using TD Composer we can’t use the keyboard functions to undo something or redo as well.
Looked at the menu side as well, no buttons.
See bottom menu left (no Arrows to undo or redo)

If you want you can use this css:

set it in the theme panel > custom code > custom css.
Or you can use a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, this can be edited using tagDiv Composer.

You need to edit with tagDiv Composer a page, and you can remove the breadcrumbs with a right-click you can delete => https://www.screencast.com/t/BEJIVduVFyZ , or selecting the element and with drag & drop place into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page.
Or maybe you need to use a custom code -> .td-crumb-container{
display: none
}

1. Please provide more information about the trigger function you’re thinking about.
There are many triggers of Modal popup now.
ex. [BUTTON], [PAGE LOAD], [EXIT INTENT], [SCROLL]
I want you to add new trigger whose name is [ELEMENT LOADED]
If [ELEMENT LOADED] is enable, Modal popup will be loaded where the element is placed in TD composer.
Anyway, I want to let Modal popup load in any height of page.
Console does indicate that there is a problem loading the editor file

Is this behavior normal? There is a search for the latest posts each time a td-composer element is rendered such as image boxes, icon boxes etc.

I read that the mod_substitute module default configuration can cause a timeout error on TD Composer when loading larger pages. As I was building a website I started to get the error, at the time I was not aware that this error was somewhat common based on your host settings.
Is there anyone here that can perhaps help me avoid receiving this error? According to a post on tagdiv, they recommend the information on this post.

I am dealing with an issue that I can’t figure out. Randomly TD DIV Composer deactivates leaving strings of code on the front page and assorted pages. My client is getting angry so I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue.

The ads shortcodes should be set in the ad box element using the tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/TdqMQOL.png. Now if you have standard templates, then you need to set the shortcodes in the theme panel ads section.

Hi,
the site is https://www.anosacosta.es/ and I am trying to find a way to set (reduce) the number of news articles that are loaded on the home page. Right now it is way too long.
I cannot find where.
When I Edit the home page with the TD Composer, that seccion isn’t editable.
I don’t see a place to modify number of posts when accessing the Newspaper Theme panel either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Good Morning,
I’m running Newspaper 11.5.1 with td-composer on my website. When monitored with the Query Monitor plugin, I see that the td-composer plugin is making 81 duplicate queries, slowing down my website. It is so slow that without caching, the website is entirely unusable.
I searched the forum and discovered that a significant upgrade is forthcoming that will address all of this.
When should we expect this update?

Okay, here is what I tried, in sequence, but sadly it didn’t work…
1- deleted the theme and removed all plugins
2- ran a scan of the site and that came back clean
3- downloaded the theme full package from themeforest
4- uploaded it on the site and installed it again
5- ran the scan and found the same supposedly infected file
6- disabled and deleted the single plugin td-composer
7- ran the scan and it came back clean
8- manually uploaded the td-composer plugin from the one .zip file included in themeforest package and activated it
9- ran the scan and found the same supposedly infected file
10- deleted again the td-composer plugin
7- ran the scan and it came back clean
11- downloaded the td-composer plugin from within the theme’s plugins panel, hence straight from tagDiv cloud server.
12- ran the scan and found the same supposedly infected file
the scan returned the MetaBox.php file and virus signature {HEX}Malware.Expert.php.var.pattern.UNOFFICIAL
The tool I used is clam-av (the one available from my admin tools), the same my host uses.
I need the site running so for now I am just ignoring the file, I tried to quarantine it, but it breaks the site.
What would you recommend to do? Did I miss any step?

in the posts page, there are 97 duplicate queries made by td-composer. why is it making 97 queries to retrieve just one post?

I’m running Newspaper 11.4.3 with td-composer on my website. When monitored with the Query Monitor plugin, I see that the td-composer plugin is making 79 duplicate queries, slowing down my website. It is so slow that without caching, the website is entirely unusable. Even the Facebook sharing debugger is timing out because of the slow response rate of the website. This causes problems when the post is shared on Facebook. The thumbnail doesn’t appear.
Let me know what I can do to reduce duplicate queries and speed this up.
