After WordPress’s last update there appeared a jQuery conflict in our theme. We fixed this conflict and the current theme version available on themeforest works fine, also we included last version of Visual Composer plugin.
Try to update the theme at V 2.3.6, and Visual Composer at V 4.11.2 following our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ then clear all caches and test again.

Also I’ve checked your site and noticed the you’re using an older version of the theme and also Visual Composer plugin is outdated. I have updated both the newspaper theme and visual composer plugin and still no luck. Please help me find a solution. I am in the process of selling the site.

same problem with me. I have updated into latest version but the plugin not working.. I want to add pre built templates but when i click on that nothing happening..

Hello Catalin, seems to work. But also I´ve tried an deacitvated all plugins and still had the same issue.
Will do all updates tonight and let you knwo if i still have issues….

Thanks @Chris for your suggestion and for your reply.
This implementation could be a solution and is in our attention for future updates. However we have to carefully analyze how menu’s structure will be affected and finally to choose the best way of doing this but in the same time we have to keep a simple way of using it.

Hi – just to update. It was Wordfence making trouble. When disabled I could save the banner and afterwards I activated Wordfence again.

Last theme version available on themeforest is tested and works fine with V 4.5 of WordPress. Make sure that you update the theme at V 2.3.6 and Visual Composer at V 4.11.2 which is included in theme’s path. Thanks for getting back to me. All of this seems to be getting to complex with my limited knowledge base of development. Is there a resource you can refer me to in order to have three updates completed on my behalf?

1) The plugin conflict is with this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/

2) I am using correct settings using default where the post settings are setup by category and it’s still not working. So now I have to manually select the primary category every time and I have thousands of articles to input… this is very very very very annoying and should work (as you describe) as it did work before the last update… would you think a plugin conflict could cause this type of bug?
