Hi,

Could you tell me where exactly I need to modify the colours and the fonts in the CSS. I can go ahead and do this but to find exactly where this is would be very difficult. I know its some where near td-header-menu-wrap-full but I cant seem to find where that is. If you could help me out I will permanently change the CSS and font as we wont be changing it. I will also need to know where this is if we update the theme and the changes get reverted.

Thanks for the suggestion, I tried it but that didn’t have any effect.

I’ve just received an email stating that my site has been updated to wordpress 4.5.1 I don’t know how because I’m not even on auto update, maybe this is a spam message that’s doing the rounds?

Anyway, I’ve gone back to the site to try and login and now I’m not able to access the login page, I get the following error

Thank you for the quick reply and your candid feedback. We were finally able to get VC 4.11.2.1 to update manually and needed to reload both Newspaper and the child theme we created, so we have a temporary fix.

I understand that running the update will be both helpful and painful, needing to rebuild certain pages and elements, so I think we’re moving ahead with that over the next few weeks. Wondering if there is anywhere that outlines the benefits/improvements in Version 6 over Version 4, so I am better able to explain the value of making the extra effort? I see extra flexibility in block and module layouts, better stability and design, etc. Would appreciate a link or direction to a couple of forum posts (?) which might give a more complete outline. Saw the link to update process so pretty sure we can figure it out.

I have several workarounds like using an old Facebook developer account I created for a different site or editing the plugin for the time being, but I’m just bringing it to their attention as their plugin will have to be updated. You can’t create a new app in the Facebook developer console without being forced to use version 2.6 of their API.

The way that’s supposed to work is that it figures out what’s normal in learning mode so the firewall doesn’t block your theme and plugins from working. So keep it in learning mode for a week or so, be sure to update themes settings a few times (don’t think it matters if you change anything, as long as you save settings and trigger that action a few times), then when learning mode is off again, it should work fine.

If that doesn’t fix it, then you need to contact Wordfence developer about learning mode not seeing the theme.

I lost the Visual Composer functionality for all my site. I need it. I have 4.4.2 version an the last update of your theme. I was checking and I have the right access at Visual Composer.

I have updated theme to 6.7.1 and Visual Composer to 4.11.2 and everything seems great at beginning.
But the visual composer could out of function suddently when the last second still works well, and the same situation happens to media library.
I already try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files but problems still happen. I might need you to inspect my back-end and I just sent an email to confirm my request to you.

The theme is tested and shouldn’t be any issues with its functionality if the install was made correct and there is no additional code which may affect it. Usually these errors appear when the child theme is active and there is some code which does not work anymore with new theme’s version.

Regarding the code from child theme there is an important aspects that must be considered if you’re using it:
– if in previous theme’s version a specific code added in child theme worked fine that doesn’t mean that will work with the new theme version. When theme is updated many of its files are changed and it’s a good practice to check update_log.txt file for each update and see what files had been modified so if those specific files are used in the child theme you will have to check your customizations to not break the functionality of the theme.

Theme’s functionality regarding block usage wasn’t changed in last update so the trending now block can be set as I’ve indicated in my previous reply. Just make sure that all elements are added in Visual Composer: http://screencast.com/t/llbUSvSnEoC9

Sending an email now to you Catalin. Just out of curiosity, I went to update the theme and it says that I’m up-to-date so I’m guessing I have to buy the update is that correct. If so, how do I go about doing this.
