Hi,
The header style 1 can be changed only form the theme files, but the best say will be to use a cloud header (you can use a cloud header that has the same style and you can adjust it using tagDiv Composer.)
For the header style 1 the space for the ad will be there no matter if the ad is set or not. Like for the provides solution, using cloud templates will be the best, you can edit theme with tagDiv composer and you can remove the ad box elements and adjust the layout like you want.
Here is a video tutorial that can help to use the theme builder:

Hi,

Our theme can use 3 options for mobile version:
1 – the responsive version
2 – the mobile page template (can be used on pages and cloud templates -> https://prnt.sc/XVq4TcxR0lwJ)
3 – the mobile theme plugin
To have the same layout, then you need to avoid the mobile theme plugin. Use the responsive version or the mobile page template (if you want to edit the mobile version to have a different look or content).
Also, here is a video tutorial that maybe can help you!

Thank you!

Hi hanna2390,
The problem can be from the code set in the .htaccess, you have a code that is not allowing to make changes and requests. We have a small guide about this -> https://i.imgur.com/EM4K4Wi.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/

In case that the problem persist, it can be also from a plugin or other settings from the host.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!

Hi,
I think that this situation appears when you have a screen with a big resolution. What you can do is to edit the page with tagDiv Composer, select the row and set it “stretch row” -> https://i.imgur.com/4N9ChwQ.png resize the browser to can se the elements properly -> https://i.imgur.com/oRQcc87.png then select the row and change it on the row stretch, the results -> https://i.imgur.com/5REssGV.png
I hope this will help you!

Hi,
There was added a new option to turn on/off the undo option (there were users that asked for this option), so you can enable it from manager -> https://i.imgur.com/2c9zYoW.jpg
Now, most of the time when that message is display, then it is an element on the page that is interfering with the theme, it can also be a plugin.
I checked the screenshot and I saw a strange thing -> https://i.imgur.com/sU564sc.png is this look the same on a new page?
What you ca do is to use the revisions for that page or cloud template -> https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/complete-guide-to-wordpress-post-revisions/
We also made a guide, please check it: When tagDiv Composer is not working -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
If the problem persist, we can take a look at it, make a full backup for your website
and please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com provide wp-admin access and include the link of this topic. We’ll check it as soon as possible.
Thank you!

Hi,

1. About the post -> https://i.imgur.com/jWmZAbh.jpg I think that you have set on the homepage the element “homepage post” element -> https://i.imgur.com/5ACgRQE.png > https://i.imgur.com/tJazQ69.jpg remove it from the page and the first post that display the image on the full size will be removed.

2. This situation can appear from more problems.
For example it can be from a plugin conflict, for this you need to make a test using only tagDiv plugins.
Also, this problem can appear only on specific page, or it can be do to a code set in the header or footer (you can test it by setting the default header and footer -> https://i.imgur.com/VVlG7W7.png), in this case what you can do is to use the revisions for that page or cloud template -> https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/complete-guide-to-wordpress-post-revisions/
We also made a guide, please check it: When tagDiv Composer is not working -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/

Hi Sekhar, I’m glad that you manage to solved the problem!
About the slider, can you please provide a link to your website to investigate it. Is the slide from the theme or is the slider from the revolution slider?
Thank you!

Hi Rafael,
If you contacted us via email, then we’ll check and see if the problem persist on the post template is still happening. There was a small improvements but, we do not know for sure if those will fix or not that problem because we couldn’t recreated the problem on our installs, so our developers set a new contrition based on what they think read on forum about this problem.
In case that the problem is still there, and you agree, our developer will make a new fix and test it on your website to make sure that it will work.
Thank you for your understating!

Hi,
The theme functions were moved in the theme plugins, this was a requirement from envato -> https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
The css can be minified using a cache or optimize plugin, also you can try the CSS Analyzer tool -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thank you!

Hi Sekhar,
Our theme do not interfere with the website links, this is done by WordPress.
I think that you have set for WordPress backend a different language, but you ant to set the permalinks in English. Normally, the permalinks are made using the post title, so if this is in a different language so will be the permalinks. I’m not sure if you can change theme automatically. In all guides that I found it can be done only manually per post -> https://themeisle.com/blog/permalinks-in-wordpress/
Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,
Unfortunately, our theme do not have an option like you mentioned.
If the link is specific to a category, maybe they can set the link in an iframe and will display the entire category page in that iframe.
Unfortunately, I do not know exactly what can be used to do this, if you want you can also try with a redirect link.
Thank you!

Hi,
Maybe the problem is that you are using an old theme version (9.6.1) with the latest WordPress version and is possible to be parts that are no longer compatible. Now the current theme version is 11.4.1
So, what I can suggest is first to make a full backup for your website and database and after that to update the theme or downgrade the WordPress.
The theme should be updated via FTP, by replacing the old theme with the new one. After that install the theme plugin tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Standard Pack and the rest of the theme plugins if you using (social counter, newsletter).
I hope this will help you!

Hi jmbenech,
This kind of problems can appear from multiple situations, maybe you already tried some of them:
Is this problem happening on the last theme version, Newspaper v11.4.1?
Do you use a child theme or changes in the theme files?
The problem is happening when you test it on a new page only with the tagDiv plugins? (the problem can be from a plugin conflict that is blocking the js)
If you tried all those and the problem is still there, then please make a full backup for your website and contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and cPanel access. We’ll check what can be the problem and we’ll try to solve it. Also, include the link of this topic in email.
Thank you!

Hi,
I see, I think that will be better to set the button only on this code
div.td-search-icon
Then there should be no problems to use a css to hide the search button
.td-search-icon #td-header-search-button
Let us know the results!

Hi stringbenderb5, I just notice something and I think that I know why the options are not looking like for us. You need to edit the homepage with tagDiv Composer and then access the manager, after that the options should be there. In you video I think that you edited directly the cloud header, and that option (for sticky header) is displayed only when you are on a page or cloud cloud template where the header is assigned.

Hi Bamsfoldigital, we are happy that you like our theme!
About the mobile version. That is looking like that because you have the mobile theme plugin enable. This will set a simple/standard layout for mobiles.
Our theme can use 3 options for mobile version:
1 – the responsive version
2 – the mobile page template
3 – the mobile theme plugin
To have the same layout, then you need to avoid the mobile theme plugin. Use the responsive version or the mobile page template (if you want to edit the mobile version to have a different look or content).
Also, here is a video tutorial that maybe can help you!

Thank you!

I’m glad that you manage to resolve the layout with the overall score.

Have a grate day!

Hi fixed,
If only the sidebar is missing after you updated the theme from Newspaper 6.6.5 to 11.4.1 (you update from a theme that is older then 5 years), then you’ll find the sidebars widgets in appearance widgets in inactive section -> https://i.imgur.com/ihxsdtT.png
Thank you!

Hi,
You need to set there the ids of your taxonomies/categories, those can be seen when you hover over the taxonomies/categories -> https://i.imgur.com/Y4k1kSL.png

I hope this will help you!

I see. For that you can use the margin top, set it with “-” -> https://i.imgur.com/eg6P2vf.png
I hope this will help you!
