I have a problem with the mobile version of the website where the single post author and date don’t align. However, on the desktop version, it’s aligned perfectly.
The CSS margin settings are the same.
I’ve attached a picture below so you can see the differences between the desktop and mobile versions.

Please let me know from where you tried to access cloud templates, from the frontend or backend (all templates).
Usually the “Invalid reply from server endpoint error” is caused by insufficient WP_Memory_limit, if you’ll set it to 256M, and is still not working, please double it and check the rest of the settings from our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ also make sure that you are using SSL and you have a good bandwidth, the one from our server is 1GB/s and the one that I use at home is 500MB/s, if you have low bandwidth, then you can access parts of the cloud, this can be done from the frontend, for example, if you are on a post -> https://i.imgur.com/4G74M7F.jpg or from tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/2F6MhfI.png or from backend -> https://www.screencast.com/t/wekHmc7kJ8J

I understand. It is possible to be a plugin conflict, can you please make a test using only the theme plugins and amp and check if the problem persist. If the problem is still there please provide some links to some of the amp posts that are not working?

Unfortunately, I’ve renamed some of the templates and so I don’t know the original names; however, some of the category template paginations fail. Some are working fine.

I’m currently using Newspaper 11.4.1.
I would need to modify the Flex Block 1 module (and if possible I need to know how to do that in all Flex Blocks), the CUSTOM LABEL style.

As seen in the example, CUSTOM LABEL assumes the same style as the CATEGORY. I would need know how to modify CUSTOM LABEL style (font, size, color, background, etc).

Hi, is this something that can be solved without sending credentials? I’ve the same issue and we have cloudflare too with Rocket Loader off. Images are only showing to us (log users that works on the website) but not to the public.

When using TagDiv Composer, none of the color selectors are working. For example, here I have clicked on the ‘Background Color’ square which should pop up the color selector but instead just pops up a small text field that doesn’t seem to respond to any input.
The Background Opacity option also just functions like a small text box; it isn’t clear what values to put in there to change it.
This same issue is present on all elements and all pages.
Update: So I tried to go in and update the permalink to get the other pages to pull up and I had no success. Also I noticed that when you try to change the logo from the sample logo it looks smaller and shows up right next to the sample logo instead of replacing the logo with my logos. So there seems to be bugs in this. All I was doing was trying to update the current theme to a update theme using your theme but it looks like something is breaking the site.
When I go back to the original them I had to go in and delete some of the tables in the database when I went back to the original theme and click the page 2 again it doesn’t show the page anymore. So it actually messed up the current content on the site.
To fix this Im having to restore the site. And the last time I restore mysite back to a previous state it caused a database connection error. So not sure what it is but there seems to be bugs in your preset themes.

Thanks for your response. Let me explain my setup.
I am using these:
- WordPress Automatic Plugin – to get RSS news feeds and post them on my site.
- Advanced Custom Fields – to add 2 fields to the posts “source_domain” & “source_link”
- TagDiv Newspaper theme 11 – to display everything.
So after more testing, I have discovered 2 issues.
When I edit a post, I can see the correct data being put into the Custom fields by Automatic.

By messing around I have discovered that the text in the source_domain field will only display if I manually edit it using the post editor. I only have to make a small change like deleting and re-entering the last ‘m’ of the source domain.

Can you replicate this bug? Any ideas on how to fix this?
Also, the “source_link” data only show when the “source_domain” is either empty or “cleaned” as described above. Furthermore, I can display the “source_link” data but I cannot generate a link.

Hi Calin,
The problem appears to have been with the plugin “Hustle” which we use for pop-ups.
When I deactivate the plugin all my settings take effect. When I reenable the plugin the theme colour settings fall back to default values.
Is there anything that can be done by TagDiv to repair compatibility with this plugin? It’s quite crucial for us as we use the pop-up to sign users up to our newsletter.
Are you aware of any alternative methods for pop-ups? Particularly ones that might work with AMP.

In this case the best option will be a database backup.
Also, When you import a demo and you make changes on it after you change to different one the pages/posts/cloud templates, everything that was added the demo will be removed. This situation can be solved by duplicating the elements that you want to edit and use the duplicates or better select form the cloud the elements/cloud templates that you want to use (for example a page, s ingle post template, a header …)

The mobile version of my site refuses to acknowledge any settings from the mobile theme settings menu. It keeps reverting to the default header and menu colours and the box for custom CSS doesn’t work either.
The header at the top should be white with black logo and text. But it stays black with a black logo. The menu appears red and blue gradient with white text but it should be white background with black text.
Changing the settings, clearing cache etc. does nothing.
As promised, i did the switch. Was quite easy fortunately but i guess years of newsmag makes some kind of DNA.
One last question… i’m playing a bit with theme layout to search the one i like the most: at the moment i’m using default pro, i tried to load magazine pro but there was some kind of error and composer was not available so i went back to default pro but i had to rebuild the whole homepage with the composer.
Is there a way so “save” for example MY “default pro” layout (i mean settings for articles block sorting and everything that actually makes my homepage) so that if something goes wrong with new layout i dont have to lose time to rebuild the previous again?
May restoring a previously saved mysql backup do the job?

As you can see, the category is missing.
Moreover, I noticed that some letters where cut. For example, the surname of this author is “Levy” and you can see that the bottom of the “y” is cut. Is there a way to fix it?

1) When a new user wants to register for the website using the modal login form, the form is not responding. The user enters a valid email address and a user name (different from the email address), but the form keeps saying “Waiting” —> https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/23419588?key=9456265b81a9c2fdf5eb1902546b26c5 … and a user is never registered in the backend. What’s wrong?
2) Is there a way to influence the behaviour of what is happening after a user clicks “Sign up”? For example, I want to send a customized email to newly registered users and then verify each user manually. Is this possible or do I need an extra plugin for this? If yes, do you recommend such a plugin?

Trying to upgrade from Newspaper 9.8 to Newspaper 11.4.1 and am missing all of our old posts templates, as well as most of the content blocks for pages. The posts template only has one available, and the content blocks have gone from about 60 options in the old version to only 15 options in 11.
I couldn’t find these in the cloud templates. What am I missing?

It’s a bit of a non-sense as it’s obviously the same category than the… category.
How can I hide it? (the tag, white font on a black background above the post’s blocks)
