We updated WordPress and featured images stopped showing on the homepage. They’re still showing within articles and on category pages, just not on the homepage. We are using the most up to date version of Newspaper 7.
recomhub.com
I went through the forum and saw people advising users to turn off plugins and check to see which one could be causing the issue. I did that but couldn’t get the images to load back (even after resetting the cache).
Any help would be appreciated.
thank sir for help, but i have also checked as you say. clear cache & other different browser. but still not showing footer content- please see screenshot – https://ibb.co/mtVN5w
my phone is samsung galaxy j2 pro, browser tested on chrom, dolphon, & deafault browser.
Hello ashishsahu,
I have inspected your Footer menu on mobile and it seems to work as expected. Try to clear all of your caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello maga0000,
It seems to be a little change in our theme, regarding on theme’s js. Please notice that at the moment, the theme uses the tagdiv_theme.min.js file and in the past, the file used by the theme was tagdiv_theme.js. So, you have two possibilities to make these changes. The first one would be to change the file used by the theme from tagdiv_theme.min.js to tagdiv_theme.js and this change can be done from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6spI2VZU and the second one would be to minify the tagdiv_theme.js with such online minification tool and replace it with the theme min js file. (overwrite it). So, if you are using the Cloudflare you should purge all the files because the CSS and Js files are cached. So, after you have made these changes at the theme’s core files you should use the following custom CSS and place it in Theme panel > Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.td-category-siblings .td-category {
height: auto !important;
}
.td-category-siblings .td-subcat-dropdown {
display: none;
}
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello T2N,
I have inspected your website and it seems to work as expected for Internet Explorer. You should provide some screens with the problem so I can identify it. Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!

Hello Thomas,
Unfortunately, this is not a normal theme’s behavior. Please ensure that you are using the latest theme version installed via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. Remove all of your untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hi GiacomoLaw,
Sorry for this but please notice that we do not have any plan for integrating the W3 Total Cache in our theme as caching plugins, sorry!
Thanks.
Hello Ryansmccain,
I have watched your video and I saw this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/yy8OhwAT3 Clear all the caches and check the results.

Hi,
@kylevorbach That should not cause any issues. In my test it works properly regardless
– https://www.screencast.com/t/zoqy66VxthDo
This could be a caching issue, please clear any caching installed. Check with the hosting provider there might be a server side cache as well.
Thanks
Hello,
Please clear your cache and remove all plugins except the theme specific ones. Then test for duplicates again. If the issue is still there, please provide an example of what these metas are and a link to your site so we can inspect it.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please make sure you increase your memory allocation like so: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Also please test without any plugins active. Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Also please check with your host and the htaccess file for any blocked content on your site.
The https/ssl implementation also can influence the theme panel if not done properly.
Thank you!
Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!

Are there any plans to add support for W3? I’ve found it much better than Super Cache in my experience.
Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback.
But there is some mistake, because the correct one is to show the highlighted image chosen.
It has some wrong code, but I do not know which one.
I disabled plugin cache and cloudflare.
IGNORE – FIXED
Cache issue
using newspaper 8 on themindsjournal.com
before was using elegant theme and my load time on pingdom was below 1.5 sec
Now I tried everything and the load time is going past 60sec and at best 25-30 sec
Your recommended plugin wp cache breaks the theme and does not work. using wp total cache, but still have trouble in load time.
I am using Dedicated Server with high RAM and CPU, and is infact double then required capacity.
Please check and let me know how to get this resolved.
Hi!
Been using the theme for a month and it’s been great regarding functions and customization. The only thing I’ve been really fighting with is performance, as the theme generates lots and lots of inline CSS & JS instead of having main cores on files which I can compress and cache.
So far I’ve done all the optimizations recommended, using WP Cache and also Fast Minify. They work as intended, however there’s one thing they can’t fix: Inline code.
The Theme Panel puts all the custom fonts, colors and customizations in inline code instead of storing them in a file, making it impossible to compress, minify and cache those files, while also render those customizations last.
Is there a way I can easily modify the code (I’m a dev), without breaking updates, for putting those customizations on a file instead of inline?
And as a suggestion, reducing the inline code both for the Theme Panel customizations and for the Blocks would be a huge performance hit on this theme. Even on dedicated servers it’s not loading as fast.
Regards and thanks
Hello bishwa,
Most likely, you have active both page builders. Disable the TD Composer, clear all the caches and check the results. The VC functionality should works as expected again.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
Just a thought but are you sure your users don’t have adblock on? Happens to me all the time.
If not, please try to disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Hi,
We have tested the website on the Safari browser again, there is no problem with the images on the homepage, or the post pages
– https://www.screencast.com/t/UFEzOL02
Please try clearing the cache in the browser you are using to test, or try on a different computer. It could be a local issue since everything is displayed properly on our end, using latest Safari version.
Thanks
Hello,
It’s strange! Try to disable all of your untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, you should make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case and check the results! Also, if you need more assistance, in this case, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can take a closer look at it.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi cjs,
Ensure that you are using the latest theme version, remove all of your untested plugins to rule out any conflicting plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. Check our demo preview and see there is no problem with our smart lists, sorry! Everything seems to work as expected.
