Hello,
Our theme is fully compatible with the latest version of wordpress but maybe you have plugins that are not. Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Then test again.
Thanks
Hello Mako,
Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what you mean and what you are referring to. Please notice that our theme does not have any such an option to restrict you some elements, sorry! Notice that you can use TD Composer which is our recommended page builder and Visual Composer which is an optional plugin. First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest theme version, check your system status parameters to be right increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ and then, clear all the caches and check the results.
If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello akashdeep305,
Please try to disable all of the untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Leave just to active only the plugins come bundled with the theme core files, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, if the problem will be still there, you should try making a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and check the results. Notice that our mobile theme was fully tested and should work as expected with the theme if it was right installed according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
I have just tested the list menu as well as block header 8 and it seems to work properly: https://www.screencast.com/t/bM8gter5d
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please disable all other plugins except the tagdiv composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Also if the page you are trying to edit was built with another page builkder (eg visual composer) it can also provide this error. Such pages will have to be recreated from scratch using the tagdiv composer.
Thank you!
Hello CVBJ_Creative,
Please keep in mind that the mobile menu should work as expected without any problem if the theme is right used, without any untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and which might cause a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of these and leave just only our tested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results.
If the problem is still there, you should provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it and also, so I can check it to mobile devices.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello deanvandijk,
It seems to be a strange issue which should not come from our theme, sorry! Try to disable all of your untested plugins used by you, clear all the caches and check the results after this steps. Try using only our tested plugins and rule out any conflicting plugins.
Thanks for your understanding!
I have whitelisted the “my-account” page with Super Cache.
Any ideas?
Probably issue with your CDN and WP Super Cache setup.
Hi,
I was playing with the header styles and now there is a problem.
I have style 4 (logo in menu).
* In Chrome everything works fine.
* In Safari there is this big white space now above the menu.
Can anybody please take a look at this.
* I had already style 4, with no problem. That’s the strange part.
* I flushed all cache
Kind regards,
Bernard

Hi Glenn,
Unfortunately page speed is a very personal issue and it depends on lots of things starting from the host you use all the way down to the content on your site.
If you use lots of complex elements, you need a more powerful host to handle the ajax calls. We cannot help in that decision though. Please use gtmetrix as well as google page speed insight and follow their advice for page speed optimization.
Please also use the speedbooster plugin:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tinymce-advanced-and-other-various-disabling-speed-boster/
And make sure you use a cache plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ and a cdn server: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Thank you!
Hello Equinoctium,
Sorry for this inconvenience but I guess that issue happens due to your untested plugins which might interact with the database and remove the theme activation status. Please try to disable all of them, leave just only required plugins to be active, clear all the caches and check the results.
Hope this helps nad let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
As I have the same problem:
1) which cache where needs to be cleared?
2) what are cdn files? How to reset them?
3) I checked the DEBUG which is false, I added the line memory limit 64, i created the php.ini file myself and added the info
4) what kind of blocked content are you referring to? Any particular message I can forward to the admin of the server?
Thanks for the headup.
I disabled all plugins and cleared the cache. I don’t use a child theme and I didn’t add any custom code. It’s a brand new website with just some SEO and security plugins (which I disabled).
But did you disable all plugins and clear cache as instructed above?

I just bought Newspaper8 theme for our HP.
I tried to add google adsense for Header AD
https://goo.gl/photos/rPC1P9rN222ewpeY7
I input a google adsense code and click save-settings
https://goo.gl/photos/2aH3HZ1khcxfM5p8A
and as you can see, never ending waiting signal pops up.

If your theme panel cannot save the modifications, please check the system status screen and increase your memory allocation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Also try to disable the plugins as they can cause this issue as well. Make sure you clear cache afterwards though.

like you said, I increased memory allocation, and disabled pugins.
but still can not move foward.
Please help.
Hello nikthehat,
Please notice that solution was been tested on my side and it seems to work as expected. You should try it with more care and after these changes, you should clear all the caches and after check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Maybe try and clear your cache after deactivating that option from Jetpack. If that did not work, I could not say how exactly to remove that meta. You need to be absolutely sure that Jetpack is adding that description, and not other plugins. Then try asking for help on other more specialized forums, hopefully you can find a solution.
Or maybe some other users can share some insight.
Thanks
Hi,
No, Php 7.1 should not be an issue. Please check your wp super cache settings and only use these entries: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thanks,
Bogdan B
I installed xcache (php opcode).
Also I filtered internal dummy connections so they don’t reach wordpress (.htaccess)
Since these two changes, the behavior of server has been improoved dramatically.
My aim is to update PHP to version 5.6, but I read that is not possible on Centos.
Also, I am not really sure about it as our portal is live with about 20000 users / day.
I guess it will happen one day, after the next WP update …
Since v4.12 is the last version of Visual composer before version 5.0, does it worth to update? Or I will have to update theme and PHP version too ?
Am asking as am not quiet sure and I don’t want to brake things.
Apart that, if you update theme, then you have to use page builder instead of VC.
So what’s the point of updating VC at the first place?
any help will be much apreciated
I’m having no luck getting td_composer plugin to work on my site.
Problem: Once plugin is activated, I can’t access backend of my site – page just won’t load. After pages stalls, I can’t access any pages on my site frontend or backend until I delete td_composer, clear cache, and completely restart browser.
Could this have something to do with it being a multi site install of wordpress? I very much want to transition to the new composer, but after two days of trying everything already suggested, I don’t know how much more time and energy I can expend.
Steps taken:
Please help! Can I send login credentials?
Generally in the footer.php file. Just make sure you clear cache so it’s actually there. Do a view source on your post page to see if the javascript is actually there.
Also note PHP 5.3 is very very old also, and new version of WP is not optimized to work with it.
https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/
From WP 4.8 onward, it’s optimized for PHP 7, but 5.6.30 would be *highly* recommended if you are running latest WP and cannot start migration to PHP7.
We use PHP 5.6.30 with opcache which is the closest you can get to PHP 7 without actually using it, but retain some backward compatibility while migrating, and planning to move fully to PHP 7 for 2018.
Seriously — 5.3 is ancient, 5.4 is a dog. 5.6 and above is the only thing you *should* be using with WP 4.8 and higher.
You can get up to 30% improvement in PHP speed, and stop those bizarro old CPU spikes from 5.2./5.3 era.
Here are some interesting benchmarks from way back in 2014; and 5.6 has improved since then since some of the work on v7 is backported to 5.6 for security/compatibility:
https://lornajane.net/posts/2014/php-5-6-benchmarks
(( I don’t work here; but we did big PHP upgrade last Sept., and *wow* what a difference. ))
