Hello nnors,
Please contact your hosting provider and request them to increase this value as expected. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, remove all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicts.
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
I have tested this on my end – https://www.screencast.com/t/cODZ8vVfV and the twitter link displays works properly – https://www.screencast.com/t/lzk4aEFKoed – https://www.screencast.com/t/JGuY8sN2lPu
Maybe you have a plugin that is somehow interfering in this process, I suggest disabling all the plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and try again and enter the link in the twitter field and see if it is saved accordingly, not just the username.
Thanks
Site slowing down is not related with using Big Grid, you can use wp super cache plugin configuration with this link -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
what you need to do is: enter your website URL here in google page speed insights -> https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/
that will explain you where is the problem
Hello,
If I put one “Big Grid” on a page, the site becomes very slow.
I ask you if this is related with the fact that I´m using “WP Super Cache” (as you recommend for this theme) and, if so, what change in the parametrization of the “WP Super Cache” I should do in order to avoid that the site slows down.
Thank you.
Best regards.
Hello,
Please make sure the system status parameters are set according to this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Also if you use wordfence, please set the firewall in learning mode.
A plugin conflict can also affect the theme panel so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
If you switched to another account but the images are stiull there it is a clear caching issue. Please only use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
For a cdn server pleas euse these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Also please contact your host and have them remove the hosting side cache.
Thank you!
Hello neronart,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using an old version of the theme, like 6.1, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/7IkrsUxVv Please update the theme to the latest version of it which is 7.7.1 via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. Update the theme and the required plugins, clear all your caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Well if you have tried to enter the missing ad size or a new one in the theme corresponding file, it should display in the theme panel. When you add this size in the file, then save it and re-enter it is it still there? I still believe it is a cache issue or the modifications are not saving for some reason, try deactivating all cache plugins and also check to see if the host you are using has a server side cache. If nothing works, I can only suggest a fresh theme install – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thanks
Hello,
Please also contact your host and have them remove any hosting side cache as well.
Thank you!
Hello annors,
It seems that your max_execution_time is not increased according to our guide. Try to increase it according to our guide, clear all your caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Good morning.
Instagram footer does not update the images.
I’ve already followed all steps suggested in this forum but I can not update.
The plugin version is 4.1.
I tried to be switched to another account.
I deleted the cache.
Thanx
Hi,
Glad you could find a solution for this and managed to solve the problem you were having. It could be a plugin causing this, or a plugin conflict so you could try this as a test, only with Visual composer active, clear the cache and purge cdn files.
Thanks
Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Also check your memory allocation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thank you!
Yes, we use Wp Super Cache, but after update we have problem witch most static pages. Just error 404…
WP DEBUG show one error:
Notice: Constant DYNAMIC_OUTPUT_BUFFER_TAG already defined in /home/admin/domains/ndie.pl/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/functions.php on line 183
If we add fresh new page, still error 404 (on back-end all work, only problem on front-end).
Hello,
1) Please only use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
2) Super cache has a flaw that needs adjusting by modifying the code like so: https://github.com/Automattic/wp-super-cache/pull/185/files
Edit wp-cache-phase1.php and add the green code from the right column as it shows there.
3) And the third and most important step, please contact your host and have them remove any hosting side cache. This seems to be the case more and more where the hosting provides caching from the host side. In many cases that is not compatible with wordpress themes.
Thank you!
Hello Ace,
I have noticed that you are using the child theme and that’s could be a reason for non-alignment for your elements. Try to revert the theme to the default state, clear all your caches, switch it to the main theme and check the results.
Hope this help and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Ace,
I noticed that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme and cause this problem and also, I saw that you are using the child theme which can be a reason in this case. Try to switch the theme to the main version, clear all your caches and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the message!
I see that the styles file size is 1mb and the site loading is very slow. I have WP super cache, but it doesn’t help. Is there any way to make site loading faster? Maybe some setting in hosting or smth like this? I mean this site: https://www.womanews.ru/
Hello illusio26,
First of all, if you are using some untested plugin with our theme, you should disable all of them because these can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Remove all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and rule out any conflicting plugins. After this, if your problem is still there, please try to revert the theme to the default stat. I have inspected your source page and I saw that you minified all your CSS and js code. That’ could be the reason in your case, that your block to not work as expected.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
taco_and_co,
Thank you. That was a confidence booster. So, I started deactivating plugins one by one to see which one may have been causing an issue.
The thing is, and I am sharing this, so others in the future may serve as a reference.
I have WP Super Cache installed, but currently it is disable from caching (plugin is activated). I deactivated the plugin, tried site wide analysis, nothing happens. I activated WP Super Cache again (but in its setting, the plugin is not enabled to cache), now it is working – the site wide analysis. Will wait for it to finish.
Hi Tagdiv! I am experiencing this werid issue of not having the featured image displayed for this particular blog post of mine while sharing on facebook: http://1step1footprint.com/pulau-rawa-2d1n-trip/
The other posts are working well. Only this blog post that I am having issues with the featured image displaying while sharing on Facebook. I’ve tried clearing cache but to no avail. Could you please help me investigate this issue? Many thanks.

Just to update, tested it with wp-super cache, with your configuration tutorial and the exact same thing is happening.
Hi, i use WP-ROCKET cache plugin for a while now, and it is very very good, and always worked fine, but, now I have The Newspaper 7 and its not working correctly.
I am using the mobile plugin (td-mobile-plugin) and, if a user browse the website on a mobile phone, a new cache file is generated, and the problem starts here.
If the very first visitor to the new post browses the website on a mobile phone a new cache file will be generated, also the next users who visit the website on a desktop will see the mobile cached version, and not the desktop version.
The same happens on the opposite.
If the very first visitor to the new post browses the website on a desktop, also the users who visit the website on a mobile phone will see the desktop cached version.
Can you guys please help me with this issue?
I have deactivated every plugin except Visual Composer and cleared cache. The problem was not fixed.
I have copied and pasted what is entered in wp-admin. You can see the post on the site here:
http://newsworthyinfo.com/wife-leaves-husband-of-22-years-over-political-differences
The image does not appear where it is supposed to and it does not link to the GearBubble page as it should.
<h2>How Serious Is the Divisiveness</h2>
For example, in the Reuters’ survey, Gayle McCormick, a retired California prison guard, called her husband’s approval of President Trump a “deal breaker.” Because of his affirmed support of Trump, she made the decision to move out of their marital home after 22 years of marriage.
McCormick is 73 years and reports that she felt “betrayed” by her husband. He did not discuss his choice for president, but casually said that he would be voting for Trump while he and McCormick were having lunch with friends last year.
