Hello lastnote,
If the problem will not be solved with this advice, please try to find other online solutions in this regard because the origin of this issue can be more complex and depends on a lot of things and it is not theme related. Also, try to clear the server cache and if you do not have any access to remove this, you should contact your hosting provider and require them to do this and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello uper_nic0las,
Unfortunately, we do not have any bad reports in this regard, until now, sorry! Most likely you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core file and cause a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and check the results. Also, if the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the message!
Hello lastnote,
The problem seems to be generated by CDN. You can find a solution here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/ Also, if the problem will not be solved with this advice, please try to find other online solutions in this regard because the origin of this issue can be more complex and depends on a lot of things and it is not theme related. Hello haroldsimon,
You should check your theme panel and check if all the Thumbs on Modules/Blocks are active if you want that all your images to be right cropped. Clear all your caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
The URL is http://defiantamerica.com
If you look at the Economy category, there are only 2 posts showing out of 7.

As you can see, I have filtered the posts on Economy within the Dashboard and it shows all 7.

I also have cache turned off.
Hello ruandeyzel,
Do you use the latest version of the theme with the bundled version of Visual Composer? Please make sure to this regard, remove all the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all your caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
After these changes, if the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Also, provide there the link of this topic so we can quickly identify you.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
After you have activated the retina thumbs in Theme panel->Block settings – https://forum.tagdiv.com/retina-images/ you will have to upload one single image with a bigger size like in your example and the theme will create the required thumbs from that image. Make sure to use the regenerate thumbnails tool after you enable retina images and you could also clear your cache.
Thanks
Hello newsguru,
Unfortunately, the Ads from this partner provider is not tested with our theme and we have no idea about the theme behavior with it, sorry! Try using the Google Adsense code because this type of Ad is fully tested and compatible with the theme. Also, you can try using the AdRotate plugin to display your ads. Clear all your caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
I have made some tests on my live website with these characters and it seems to work as properly, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/c8E8b5Vf7d7D Try to disable all untested plugins, if you are using something like this, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The mobile theme comes with it’s own predefined template for pages, posts optimized for performance and speed and it is fully tested and working properly. I can not replicate your problem so I recomend you follow the advices suggested above and try to deactivate your plugins except Visual composer just as a test and clear your cache and purge cdn files if you use it, to see if the issue is still present. Also check any custom code you may have added to the theme panel or theme files. More information about the mobile theme here in the documentation – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ When activated you can not use any Visual composer element, because the mobile theme does not use this editor but you can use instead the mobile editor. If you want to display the same elements from desktop on mobile you can disable the mobile theme and use the theme’s responsive design and deactivate the plugin.
Visual composer does not need to be activated, it comes preactivated in the theme package – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ and is updated with new theme releases. If none of the suggestions above produce any favorable results you can try and reinstall your theme or consider updating to the latest version – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ the theme and it’s plugins.
Thanks
I receive the error message “Are you sure you want to do this?” after attempting installation. I deactivated plug ins, cleared browser cache, checked PHP limit and the problem persists. I’m not sure what else to do.
@IE Mag
I am using it without the plugin, it seems to work fine – especially the off-screen menus and search. the main difference for me is the slider – if i use mobile theme plugin – it will show maybe 3 featured posts, without that I can still show slider working when people open the site on mobile (i think it is better).
Another thought to add: when the caching starts to work, the display could be different – as this gets controlled by cache and browser (with option to request original – seen on android). so you might be better with activating mobile theme.
P.S. in case you have some improvement/suggestions for http://www.oilwire.net, I will be in debt. this is my first wordpress site.

@ Catalin,
Thank you. I will try to go with the workaround. Speed improvement is important.
As you mention, the AMP plugin is working with the theme, if possible, can you include in the list of validated plugins, so it is not showing with flagged message in the Status Window. For new people like me, it will be very helpful. 🙂
@Chris S,
Thanks for the tip. Great to see inputs from people who have also tried, tested and can validate. :-thumbs-up
I intend to continue to use the AMP plugin then, seems a lifesaver in current situation, when other methods of speed improvement – cache plugins, minify etc does not seem to be working for me.

fixed it. looked like a cache problem on persons phone maybe? not sure but it’s working now.
I’m also having a problem with the Facebook counter. I’ve cleared cache, but fans still = 0. I followed the instructions here, but don’t understand the relationship between our page and the app.
Hello
Try to clear all your caches, purge all CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results. For example, I try to add on my side a random code and seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/p2HWxrbHkKz
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello meles,
Please try to re-create the YouTube Playlist with another video or the same videos, clear all your caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the message!
Hello oilwire,
Unfortunately, until now, we do not have any bad reports in this regard, sorry! Our tested caching plugin is WP Super Cache and should work as properly and for Godaddy hosting, sorry! I suggest you contact the Godaddy hosting provider, tell the problem and wait for their response. They should be able to provide a more accurate response in this regard.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
If the issue is still there afterwards you should reinstall the theme as there could be a faulty theme install.
Thank you!
Hi Bogdan,
I am going through the process step in the guide, i have some limited knowledge in coding but i will try.
I am checking the compatible plugins also, I have some issues with the cache plugin (not allowed), so I am trying to find some answers. Thanks for sharing, this link is useful – http://screencast.com/t/hcjLnOqh4i2.
I am trying to settle with Cache Enabler + Optimus (webP support) for the Cache and Images.
Cloudflare is setup as recommended in the tutorials 🙂
Multumesc, Ciao.
Hello ruandeyzel,
You should create your own sidebar from there, without any problems. Most likely, your PHP memory is exhausted and that’s why you cannot do this. Try to increase your system status parameters according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Clear all your caches, purge CDN files and check the results.

Dear Creators,
I am writing this after testing and trying some possible plugins based on my hosting provider constraint. Is it possible to test additional – maybe top 5 cache plugins and suggest the steps for configuration.
Cache plugins – WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache, WP Fastest Cache etc are not permitted on my Godaddy hosting.
I tried Comet Cache – but Pagespeed always keep showing to use Caching. Now using Cache Enabler (KeyCDN) and also enabled (WP_Cache, true) in wp-config file. The Theme Status message is still showing:
> No caching plugin detected – for best performance we recommend using WP Super Cache
I have caching enabled from Cloudflare already.

Hello,
Unfortunately there is no minification tool we can guarantee will work .In order to improve your page speed please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
As a note on the speedbooster plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tinymce-advanced-and-other-various-disabling-speed-boster/
If you want to use a cdn server please only use these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
For cache we recommend: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
Hello all,
First of all, please make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme. Otherwise, you have to take the latest version of it from Theme Forest and install it via FTP way on your domain. Remove the old version and install it the latest one. Also, you have to use only the required plugins which come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Clear all your caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer so I will be able to provide a more accurate response. Please provide there the link to this topic so we can quickly identify you.

Hello Sugla,
Unfortunately, we have not encountered this type of error and also, we do not have any bad reports in this regard, until now, sorry! I suggest you installing the theme again via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard and if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
