I understand what you mean, but I can’t explain the shortcodes and syntax used which appears strange to you. Everything in the code is there for a reason, since the page builder has been built from the ground up.

We made it that it is compatible with Visual composer shortcodes on a level for an easier transition between the two if users decide to do it.
As I mentioned the page builder is always being improved where possible.

I am sorry for any inconvenience caused, you could always use the WPBakery page builder included in the package. But with it the new features and the many ones to come will not be compatible.

So you installed the craft demo and wish to use the default demo homepage. That would be possible. All the demos are included in the theme, pages as well.

So for example the content of the homepage of the default demo is here

Copy that code in a page and edit it with the composer to configure it. Then set it as homepage.

Delete the tagDiv composer and the other plugins that the message mentioned. Install them from the theme plugins panel

The tagDiv composer should update automatically, in some cases it fails however. If this happens it will deactivate itself and an update button should appear in the theme plugins panel for it. Click that and it will be updated.

Did the update button not appear there after it was deactivated? We constantly try to improve this functionality, any user feedback is appreciated. Let us know.

Create a page with any elements you want from the tagDiv composer and set it as a page menu.

The composer is created by our skilled developer team, a project that dates years back. It is also constantly developed and improved.

What exactly is the problem you are having with it? If there is an actual problem caused by the shortcodes the composer uses I will make a note of it and it will be fixed as soon as possible.

I use a mouse, clicking it and using the scroll wheel will allow you to move it up/down.

Or simply remove it from where it is currently, then search for it in the composer sidebar and try to place it where needed

Also for example the text you refer to in the homepage, I will need a link to your website to see how it is built and also what text are you referring to exactly.

I don’t quite follow you here. Indeed each author will have a default author page. You can now build those pages with the composer for each author if needed.

Post templates can also be built with the composer, you can display anything the composer has available in them. There is a more from author element, it will show posts from the author of the opened post
