I need to add a block but when I edit with TD composer a section of my home page comes up as text, not editable blocks. Please advise.
I have a screen show but don’t have anyway to add it here.
Hi,
I wanted to make a change to my homepage using tagDiv Composer, but it stays on the loading icon. The last times I used it, it did work good. Already checked the status page and configured everything as asked. Any solution?
Thanks!
first seconds did it to me, then I realized that there was only to activate the plugin dv composer
hope it help
Thanks for the prompt reply! The strange thing is that I didn’t update the theme at all yesterday or today. I just logged in WordPress just to find out that my tagdiv composer plugin was disabled automatically. BUT there was an option to update it. Isn’t that weird? In the meantime, I hadn’t installed any new plugins so I really can’t tell what had happened.
Please try also this solution
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
Also try deactivating all plugins as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. Check if this has any effect.
If there is still a problem we could take a look, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login and cPanel if possible. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Have just mage a clean install, no other plugins – no content. Clean wordpress with this theme installed and required plugins.
Here is what I have done:
– Press “add new”
– Choose “Features Icons 2 – Technology” template
– Press “Create template”
– Wait until it uploads to composer
– Do changes or no (result is the same)
– Press “Save”
– Press “X”
And it saves it as a regular page, not a template…

Hi,
The theme panel post ads will be displayed for all the posts, there should be now way to show an ad for specific posts.
With the new features, that would be possible. Through the tagDiv Cloud library plugin you can import or create post templates. Ads fro these templates can be added in the composer directly
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Y2nZwnHTTAUA
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
So you could create a post template or use a predefined post template in the Cloud library plugin, and enter the ads you want. Then apply that template specifically to the posts in which you want to display the ads. This could be a solution if you should consider it.
Thanks
Thanks for the thorough explanation Simion. Much appreciated.
One other question about TagDiv Composer elements and Theme Panel Font settings (color and size etc.).
When working with elements in TagDiv Composer, do any of the Theme Panel font settings effect the elements, or do all elements need their font size and color changed individually with each element when added to a design?
I guess I’m trying to understand what global Theme Panel font settings also change the elements in TagDiv Composer.
Best,
IC
Hi,
You can enter the ad with the composer for the new single templates. Edit the template and place ad boxes where you want them to appear. These templates do not have an actual single template file, they have the same functionality as pages. They can be edited with the composer.
Thanks
Hi,
After you update the theme, the tagDiv composer should be updated automatically. But in some cases this automatic process seems to fail, in this case the composer will be remain deactivated. So when you update the theme please monitor this carefully and if needed update the composer manually.
The automatic update process for the composer is still being improved, it works in most cases but there are exceptions. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
That is not difficult to do. Simply edit the page with the composer and set any title you want for each block

This is a block settings guide you can read

I have this shortcode that works in the regular editor.
How can I make it work in the tagdiv composer?
The category description font properties can be styled in the composer, for the template you want
– https://www.screencast.com/t/CeIXjt6Tdg
In the theme panel there are no settings for them, their style is predefined.
Hi,
They should save as templates, which you can use depending on your needs (posts, categories etc).
So you are using the add new button in the cloud library settings, and select a template
– https://www.screencast.com/t/l7QQ9y6x1h7K
This should import the predefined template in the composer, where you can modify it or just save it as it is. All these templates should only be displayed here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/JqKRebni9Ehk
What exactly is happening in your case? Try in your localhost without any other plugins active, use only theme plugins. Do not make any modifications to WordPress or the theme. If possible create a clean WordPress install on your localhost and install the theme there, with theme plugins. Let us know what you find.
Thanks
Hi!
This has happened twice already: I log on to my website just to find out that the tag div composer has been disabled and my website breaks. Again this morning tag div composer was disabled automatically. I think this might be happening every time there is a new tag div composer update, for a strange reason my previous version gets disabled until I press on the update button. Is this a bug?
The big issue regarding similar problem is with the TagDivComposer the blue on the left, there is nothing we can do there, even if we use our screen settings. Make that responsible, as most of the time, we are guessing what to do..
Thanks again for your time Bogdan and congrats for the cloud library.
Hello,
I think this should answer your question: https://www.screencast.com/t/iOMVgPj9Zo
https://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431
The change was made by wpbakery, not us.
Thank you!
Hello,
The hide row usually disappeared from VC if the tagdiv composer was activated. Please do not use both page builders. Pleas try to test this without any other plugins active
Thank you!
Sorry but I’m not sure what you mean. If you want to ‘learn how to fish’, then please install the restro demo and edit the page in the tagdiv composer. You can see the exact elements used on the demo page.
The page template is https://www.screencast.com/t/82p5oYoOB
This will make the main menu overlay the top element.
The top element is a hero scene: https://www.screencast.com/t/5i5cU0Trlbe
Thanks
Hi,
That would happen if you edit the page after it has been set as shop page. You can create a page and place anything you want in it, with the composer. Then set it as shop page, once set it should not be attempted to edit it with the composer, there will be an error message.

Hi,
You can import one of the predefined author templates (and modify it if needed) or build your own author template
– https://www.screencast.com/t/nsgUV2zKTxb5
If you decide to build your own you can use any of the composer elements. The team member element can be placed in author page templates, use it if you want to. Style and design it how you like. Please correct me if I misunderstand something.
Thanks
Hi,
So the composer keeps loading and the editor window is no opening and tehre are also problems in the theme panel. Check the theme system status panel and this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Insufficient resources can cause such problems with the composer and also with the theme panel. Increase them if necessary. Check after doing this and see if everything works properly. Let us know.
Thanks
Hello,
You will have to edit the page in the tagdiv composer and remove the icon from the header for that specific block. Please use this guide to learn how to edit pages: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thank you!
when i upload js_Composer.zip in plugin part then it uploaded then i saw in install plugin it saw a WPBakery Page Builder not Visual Composer why?????
Hi,
@InstallationComplete The elements you mention are not supposed to be present in the composer as an option to be placed in pages, they will not work. Please do not use them in pages, we will release a new update as soon as possible for Newspaper and fix this and other issues. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
