Hi,
The mobile theme plugin is optional, if it is not activated the default responsive version will be shown. When active, you will have to create 2 page versions, one for desktop with the composer and one with the mobile editor
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The pages will be saved once built and published or saved as drafts. You can deactivate then mobile plugin safely, there will be no problem in terms of losing page content. Then the same content form desktop will be served on mobile devices (responsive version).
Thanks
Hi,
Indeed pages built with any composer will not be displayed on AMP pages. Amp pages are supposed to be fast loading pages which present the content quickly, not containing blocks and grids. Pages built with the default WordPress editor will be displayed on AMP
– https://www.screencast.com/t/42Qq9ta9pbY
The mobile theme as well is optimized for speed. You will have to create 2 versions for each page, one with the composer for desktop, and one with the mobile editor for mobile
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The mobile theme will not display pages built with the composer, the default responsive version already does that. There would be no point to the plugin if it would do the same thing.
Both the mobile theme and AMP can be installed at the same time if needed. The posts will be served in AMP, and the rest of the website with the mobile theme in that case. AMP content will be served to users only through Google.
Thanks
Hi,
Indeed the theme panel font-size does not seem to be applying to big grid modules, I will add this on our list and it will be fixed as soon as possible. You could in the meantime set the font properties you want for the grids with the composer
– https://www.screencast.com/t/nAWDoq7FErCs
Thanks
The theme content width is fixed by default, it will not stretch automatically. Check the live theme demo
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
The theme does not have such a feature. There are row options in the composer to stretch them to predefined widths or full widths
– https://www.screencast.com/t/RlJHQWPbpFHU
Also there are full big grids, which are always full width
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
Header and footer can also be stretched as you mention
– https://www.screencast.com/t/eDLhcqO6
You can also set backgrounds to each row or element (video, image, color), or a theme general color or image background.
There is a changelog which you can see either in the themeforest page or the changelog included in the theme package. There were improvements made mainly for the tagDiv composer and AMP plugin fixes.
The tagDiv AMP plugin should not provide any validation errors now. Note that this plugin is only at it’s beginning, in the future it will receive more features.
@Alastair Dixon Please deactivate and remove the composer, then install it again. If there is still a problem please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information and FTP access. We will take a look.
Hi,
Try deactivating and deleting the tagDiv composer, then install it again from the latest theme package. Check if this solves the problem.
Check the theme system status as well
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Ask your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources if needed. If there is still a problem, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and we will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hi,
You can update normally, there will not be any problem
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
By FTP would be the most recommended method. Remember as always to make a backup of the website before anything. Also update the theme plugins.
Note that in version 8 of the theme, the tagDiv composer was introduced. This composer will be activated by default when the theme is updated or installed. In order to use it all the pages have to be recreated with it. Or you can continue using Visual composer for the moment, and make the transition when you want, if you want. More about it here
ā https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Simply by being active the tagDiv composer could cause issues to pages built with Visual composer, containing Visual composer elements. So you could disable the tagDiv composer for the moment and there will be no problem.
Also a multi-purpose plugin was introduced, this adds many more elements and options to the tagDiv composer only
ā https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0ARTSimnUY&t=287s
Visual composer (now WPBakery Page Builder) is still provided in the theme package and updates are included along with the theme
ā https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thanks
Sorry for your patience.
I use Visual Composer (not Tagdiv Composer) so i do not find your settings.
How can i solve with Visual Composer?
Thanks for your patience (again).
Hi,
The theme will not adjust to the screen width automatically, check the live theme demo
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
When building a page you can stretch rows to predefined values or full width, this will allow you to build wider layouts
– https://www.screencast.com/t/xIMHyobkPg
There are also full width grids
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
Note that when a background is set, the website will be boxed, in order to display the background
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/
Take a look to the theme demos, see what layouts can be achieved with the tagDiv composer
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/select_demo_newspaper
Thanks
Module 3 (block 5) can show three columns (3/3) if you create a page using td composer and selecting a page template without sidebar (Such as page builder+overlay menu). See this https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-blocks-modules/ (I don’t work here).
Hi guys!
As I’ve read, the TagDiv Composer does not work with Mobile Theme and AMP Pages.
I’ve tested it with the Mobile Theme and on a smartphone the pages with TagDiv Composer were simply blank. So basically people who use the composer on other pages than the homepage can’t use the Mobile Theme nor the AMP Plug-in, which is pretty sad.
So is there a possibility of implementing the following in the future:
NO COMPOSER USED > Page shown as AMP or Mobile Theme (depending with Plug-Ins are installed)
COMPOSER USED > Page shown is the one from the theme shown in responsive mode (and the AMP and Mobile Theme are automatically deactivated in this case)
I guess this pretty difficult to code/implement but I am curious if something like that is planned in the future?
Best,
Roman
Hi,
We’ve been waiting for the 8.7.2 update before trying to update again from 8.6. Can we update directly from 8.6 to 8.7.2 without the patches for 8.7 and 8.7 to 8.7.1?
Also do we have to do the deactivate and delete the old TD Composer plugin before updating the theme and then add the new ones?
Thanks so much for working on the fixes!
The theme comes with a fixed width (I think 1164px) and it cannot be stretched in the manner you indicate because most elements are fixed at this width and messing with it will break the responsiveness. However, you can create a custom homepage with the td composer and then stretch the rows with the content (On Add element, select a row and drag it to somewhere on the page. Then click on that row and on the left, the box will display something like this http://prntscr.com/ikmfay. Click on the small font saying ‘row’ at the top, then scroll until you see something like this http://prntscr.com/ikmdqm and select the ‘stretch row’ option. There are several options to choose from there for various screen sizes (1400px+). For the posts, this will not work though. Coz even if you remove the background image and colour, there will be white space on the edges of the screen.
It is not possible at the moment. It can only be used with the td composer on a page. Tagdiv team says the next update will provide this option. (I don’t work here).
With trepidation this morning I uploaded the newest version (8.7.2), cleared the cache and turned on TagDiv Composer without breaking the site… YAY! However, when I went in to create a post, got nothing in the entry field until I turned TagDiv Composer back off. Major Bummer… I thought it was all fixed, but alas… no. And without TagDiv Composer turned on, I am back to getting wp_booster errors… This sucks š

Hi
Whilst I have managed to get the td composer plugin now working, when I go to edit a page, there is no scrolling when you try to add an element.
Like others I have a site to work on and this is causing me a headache I could do without.
Sarah
Hello,
I just saw that you updated the theme and that much was modified in the plugin tagDiv Composer. After updating the problem with the redirect to “/wp-admin”, it’s over.
I knew the problem was in the plugin! Thanks for the update! Now, I can give you five stars in ThemeForest.
Tks n’ Best Regards.
Having a similar problem with tagdiv composer. I get this message:
The plugin does not have a valid header.

Any suggestions?
I’m not running js_composer on my side. Did a clean 8.6 install with only TD Composer and then tried to upgrade to 8.7.2. Blank screen. Running PHP 7.0.27 and WP 4.9.4.
I found out the problem. After i deactivate js_composer everything is ok…
Issues still remain for me. Blank screen when I attempt to edit page with tagDiv composer…
For me the TD composer does not even show up when creating a page even though it is installed.
Hello,
As I understand it, you want to build a page for machines and present the brands of machines in that page.
A page can be created in the tagdiv composer. You can add a title to it, and blocks top present the brands f machines. You can place ads on the page as well, using the ad box element. please use this guide to learn how to use the page builder: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thank you!
The composer activates automatically for new users that do not know how or do not read the instructions and complain about shortcodes showing up on their website without knowing they need a page builder. So we decided to activate the builder automatically to improve the user experience.
Thank you!
Hello,
There is the procedure to update visual composer that is the same one for all plugins: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Simply delete the plugins and then press the add new plugin button and upload it from the main theme package you downloaded from envato.
Thank you!
