Do you maybe have both visual composer and the tagdiv composer plugins active? If so, please disable one of them and only use a single page builder. Having both active at the same time is not recommended.
If this is not the case, please disable all plugins except the page builder and contact form, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

The problem is you are using visual composer on posts which is not recommended. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
Also you are using the tagdiv composer along with VC which is again not recommended. Please only use one or the other. Do not use both page builders at the same time.

If you use Visual composer for building your pages, try deactivating the tagDiv composer. In some cases when both editors are active there could be some issues with the page elements.
Also do not edit pages built in one of the editors, with the other one.

That should not happen if the page was previously created with the tagDiv composer. Try to deactivate and delete the tagDiv composer plugin and install it again from the theme package.
If the problem is still present deactivate all plugins as a test except theme plugins, and and check if this has any effect.

There are settings in the theme panel that you can sue to customize different fonts in the website

Visual composer does not have a font settings of it’s own. If you could provide some examples of what font exactly you want to change and where, I will try to give you a solution.

If you mean access to the Visual composer template library, I believe that feature is available only for purchased plugin licence. Not for the bundle version provided in the theme package.
You could use a Homepage post element, somewhat similar to the post template

Or a Full Big grid

Or even the Revolution slider maybe

There is no exact element like that post template is designed at the moment, using the tagDiv composer.

The pages will have to be recreated with the tagDiv composer from scratch. Do not edit with it pages created in Visual composer, this will lead to problems

Please note that some Visual compose elements do not have an equivalent in the new editor. More elements will be added exclusively for the front-end in future updates.

You can try to use visual composer and a tab element to have different sorting options on each tab. Unfortunately this is only available for pages, not for category archives.

I have inspected the website, and I see the single image elements. They seem to be displayed properly from what I can tell, I see no problem with them

If you use Visual composer for your pages, please deactivate the tagDiv composer from the plugins section. The single images are affected by both editors when they are active, this may result in problems in displaying the images.

Sorry but the tagdiv composer cannot have 4 columns. 3 is the maximum supported column number in our themes.

Please go to your plugins section and deactivate the tagDiv composer, if you are using Visual composer for your pages. In some cases having both editors active can create problems like this.
Single images are affected by both editors, and each has a different functionality for these elements.
