Hi,
Glad you could solve the issue. Please note that the latest theme version and plugins provided in the package are compatible with up to PHP version 7.1. Providing you have updated them all.
The latest version of the Visual composer included in the bundle is 5.1.1.
The main point is that the problem is solved, and everything is working properly now.
Thanks
Hi,
Try manually uploading the plugin by FTP. Unzip the plugin and upload it in the WordPress plugins folder (it should be wp-content\plugins) Then go to the plugins section and activate the composer.
More information about this method here
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/step-by-step-guide-to-install-a-wordpress-plugin-for-beginners/
Also check the theme system status and make modifications to the WordPress and server parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
This will ensure the proper functionality of the theme and plugins.
Thanks
Hi,
If you have installed the mobile theme plugin, content for pages is limited to the mobile editor. This section appears in the page edit screen, on the bottom
– https://www.screencast.com/t/lgszYjDG9y1
You will basically have to create two versions of a page, the desktop one and the mobile one.
The mobile theme will not display content created with composers on pages.
It also comes with a predefined template for the front page, post, category etc. If you would like to display the same content from desktop on mobile, deactivate the mobile theme plugin. This plugin is optional, the website will still display properly on mobile devices because it is fully responsive and adapts accordingly.
More information about the mobile theme here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Hi, I need traslate the word “ALL” but I dont found where must I do it. I search in the widgets and with the TD Composer but nothing, thanks in advanced.

The way I fixed it was as follows –
Create a temporary test page (do NOT use a page you are planning on using at some point in the future).
Go into the page with tagdiv composer. Place a couple of elements, including the broken “Text with title” element. Save the page and return to the wordpress backend.
Now load the page in the old Visual Composer and make edit the “Text with title” element in there. Save the page. It might break the page doing this because they aren’t compatible. Now load the page again in the tagdiv composer, and the Text with Title element should now work properly.
That’s how I did it, and all the information I know. I did email it back to the staff to see if it helped. It’s like using Visual Composer somehow reset it, which doesn’t make much sense but now it works for me.
Hi,
Try installing the theme again, manually
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Deactivate all other plugins except the tagDiv composer and plugins included in the theme package, and test again.
Also check the theme system status and make modifications to the WordPress and server parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Then create a new page and try to edit it with the tagDiv composer. Please let us know if you still have problems.
Thanks
Hi,
@monoazulweb If you have tried the suggestion provided above, and the theme system status is according to the recommendations, there should be no problem using the tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
You can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic in your email.
Thanks
Hello mdeleon,
Sorry for this inconvenient! First of all, you should check your system status parameters to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Also, make sure that your theme has been correctly installed via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. For more information about using our page builder, please consult the following useful guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial-2/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
First please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Then try installing the Visual composer plugin again
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
If you still receive the error, try manually uploading the plugin on your server by FTP. Unzip the plugin, and upload it in the WordPress directory, in the plugins folder (it should be wp-content->plugins)
Then go to your plugins section and activate it.
More details about the FTP method in this guide
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/step-by-step-guide-to-install-a-wordpress-plugin-for-beginners/
Thanks
Hi,
Please provide more specific details about the problem you are having, using the tagDiv composer. Everything should work exactly like in the video tutorial for you as well.
Firstly, to ensure the proper functionality of the theme and plugins, please check the theme system status and make modifications to the WordPress and server parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
You could ask your hosting provider to make them for you if needed, as they might have a recommended method in this regard.
Then try to create a new page and use the tagDiv composer to edit it. If you still have issues, try deactivating all other plugins except the composer and the plugins included with the theme. Then check again if everything is working as intended.
Thanks
Hi,
This is weird indeed. It must come from somewhere, it could not just appear in the Visual composer element list. The fact that the plugin author does not recognize it, it could be added there by a plugin or maybe modifications to the theme or Visual composer.
By default there is no such element provided in the Visual composer included in the theme package.
You could try as a test to deactivate all of the plugins, except Visual composer, clear any caching installed, and check if the element is still present.
Thanks

– I did all below things but still theme mega menu not working.
– Theme Name: Newspaper, Version: 8.0
– Theme Name: Newspaper 7 Child theme, Version: 7.7c
– Only “Advanced Custom Fields” and “WPBakery Visual Composer” plugin activated
– Clear all cache
I don’t understand what is the problem. Can you please guide me in to this.
Hi Simon, I was expecting a bit more thorough approach to be honest.
As I mentioned in the initial post – the only change that was one – was upgrade to wordpres to 4.8.
Te problem is actually fixed without restoring anything, please see below the solution. Hope it will help you troubleshoot similar issues with future users complaining about the same thing.
The answer from our hosting support – the problem is evident from the answer.
As per my initial reply I switched the PHP version to 5.6 again and cleared the cache for the website, which immediately had effect as the login page at https://allontario.ca/wp-admin/ started working again without any errors. To test and verify this I created a temporary user for your installation and then managed to successfully log into the dashboard. While there I went to our SG Optimizer plugin -> PHP Config and ran the PHP 7.0 compatibility check, which reported having one plugin out of date and not compatible with PHP 7.0:
Code:
The following plugins/themes are not compatible with PHP 7.0.
WPBakery Visual Composer

Hi!
I have a problem with TD Composer. TD Composer not save any changes for my main page. When you click the save icon, the shortcut of alignment rotates for a long time, but nothing happens.
Hello,
i would like to disable popular last 7 days from sort options everywhere.
Can i achieve that with CSS maybe ? 🙂
I tried with yout tutorial but i just can not get to tagdiv to disable it on page.
I am using Visual Composer instead.
I also see i can achieve to sort from scores?
Is there in theme also any stars rating system or something like that ?
Thank you.
Hey guys,
Just bought the theme, having trouble getting the Tag Div Visual Composer Installed.
Anything I’m doing wrong? Says that I am missing a valid “header”..
“The plugin does not have a valid header.”

This is the problem. Where is the SAVE button?
When I put the text, nothing showing.
I use newsmag and had been having no problems using the new TD Composer. But now everytime I load it up, the viewport is completely white. I can drag things on the screen, but they don’t display at all. The shortcode does get added, but it’s kind of hard building a page blind. I disabled all plugins as requested in a separate thread and that still did not work, and I don’t currently have a CDN configured. Yesterday I was able to get it working in chrome, but as soon as I loaded up the page to make another edit, same thing happened and it is still blank/white every time I try it.
hello sir when I am going install plugin js_composer then it shows me error HTTP ERROR 500 so please help me.
Yes, an amazing situation indeed!

Hi!
I received a response to my similar request from the author of Visual Composer:
—————–
[CodeCanyon] wpbakery replied to your comment on Visual Composer: Page Builder for WordPress
Hello, The “List of popular posts settings” is not our standard element. It is most likely added by your theme author to enhance the theme functionality or is coming from a third party add-on. You can check our standard elements/features by creating an online demo here: https://vc.wpbakery.com/try/

Bogdan,
The front page of our blog is drawn from the current articles.
Are you suggesting I delete these and make a new front page?
Some of these articles would have been created using Visual Composer. Is this going to be a problem for us?
Newspaper appears to have a lot of problems – widgets saved but not appearing on the page, I can’t get rid of Instagram in the footer, my main image is OK on the editor but not when published etc
Nothing like the promotion material.
Seriously considering asking for a refund.
Please let me know.
Tim
I’ve been using this theme for about a year! TagDiv Composer related problem here
I am trying to create raw HTML elements but when I use a Greek character, it stops rendering the changes and does’t save them.
Hi,
Why can’t you create a new page if it’s the front page? Simply create a new one from scratch and set it as a homepage instead of your current one.
This is why I suggested creating a new page: https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Also please do not use both page builders at the same time. Only keep one of them active. Both plugins active will cause issues.
Thank you!
