Hello,
If i disable VIsual Composer my Tabs in Sidebar dissapears.
Where can i find TD composer Tabs?
Hi,
Please try and deactivate the tagDiv Composer editor from the plugin section, and see if the issue is fixed. However you should try and recreate your page with the new featured composer. Do not use both the editors at the same time, this could provide unexpected results.
Thanks
Hi,
Then the regeneration tool is not working properly, it does not create the required thumbnails as it should. If you say that your old posts do have a featured image set the regenerating guide provided above should work accordingly. I cannot see a featured image in the posts in question, maybe you have disabled them in the theme panel.
You could try a fresh theme install and then while having only Visual composer active and try regenerating the thumbnails using the guide from above, to see if they are created as they should be.
Thanks
Hello,
Since newspaper 8 visual composer is no longer required. It is now an optional plugin.
Thank you!
Thanks travisnw & Maui No Ka for sharing your thoughts.
The problem really seems to be related to the inclussion of the new Tagdiv composer., as it’s the main new feature of the theme.
I’ll wait a bit longer before updating to v.8.0. till these problems are detected and solved by the Tagdiv team.
Cheers!
Hello Satwik,
Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to do this. Yo should do it from the code and for this, please consult the following topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-deregister-js_composer-css-and-javascript-file-on-single-posts/ and try to do this for td-composer.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
Hello polys_a,
Notice that all the Block Settings which was available on Visual Composer were been added in our page builder, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/AAZDZ1vq79 For more information about how you can use the TD Composer, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thanks for your understanding!
Iâm having a couple of problems after updating to 8.0 today.
1) I have identified/isolated the problem to be with the tagDiv Composer plugin. (I turned off every plugin one by one to verify it only occurs when tagDiv Composer is active) When I turn it off, my images look correct. If I turn it back on, several images are showing as the wrong size on the home page and a few other pages.
2) I am also noticing that my menu items are not showing visible text upon hovering and clicking. The styles are messed up or something is wrong – each menu item gets highlighted with a solid color and no text is readable. This is not good for users.
These changes occurred after updating to 8.0 theme today. Everything has been fine prior to the update. I do have a backup save but prefer not to revert yet so you can see the problem and hopefully help us resolve the glitches.
Can you help? I can provide an admin login. Thank you.

Also on the plugin from WPION, I take it it’s td-composer.zip?
Visual composer not available, I bought Newspaper 7 last night and the options that were supposed to be available to me in the demo are not, the theme heath/fitness looks nothing like it did when I was transferred everything over, now I am stuck. Went into theme panel via wordpress “activate theme” and this is the error message that I am getting once I input the “server id” “envato purchase code” and “email”. I have also tried this manually and I am receiving the same error. I am assuming this is why it is not transferred over properly because I cannot “activate the theme”? Please help.
Big grid background is not full width after upgrade and i can’t stretch it. What are settings for https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/homepage-video/ ?
Other problem is this error: Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()! , getting after hit Edit with TD Composer link
I had problems with page width and photo sizes when I just updated to v. 8. But it corrected itself when I deactivated the Tagdiv Composer plugin. I’m trying to figure out if I can now just use v.8 with Visual Composer if I want…
Catalin, it sounds like you’re no longer going to support VC with the Newspaper theme. Is that right? Or could I go on using version 8, which I just installed, with VC if I want? No offense, I’m sure the Tagdiv Composer is great, but at this moment I’d rather stick with what I know. Then I could take time later to learn TC and reformat things.
Has anyone switched from a VC-built site to the new Tagdiv Composer plugin and easily fixed problems that it created site-wide, like to page width or photo sizes?
Hi again. I just deactivated the Tagdiv Composer plugin and the Tagdiv social counter plugin. Now my post pages and my photos look back to normal. Could you please point me to some information about choosing between the Tagdiv Composer vs. Virtual Composer? I’ve designed the entire site with VC. What is required to transition to Tagdiv Composer for an existing site? And does it make sense to switch over at this point? Is it going to require tons of reformatting of existing pages? thanks.
Thanks for the quick response Bogdan. Some follow up questions.
1. If I want to recreate the home page which is done in Visual Composer (VC), how do I create this from scratch…or do you mean to delete the VC boxes and replace with TagDiv boxes?
2. Typically, I have to update both the homepage right side bar and then go into widgets within wordpress to update the right side bar. Is there a way to update the right sidebar and have it go to both homepage and interior pages, or is it best to keep them separate?
Helllo!
@ problems I see .
1.If I insert video playlist and enter the code of youtube “IE: 4GZqxSpiEJ8,”
Page stay blank not pulling the video.
Second also about video.
If I use a p[ost with video and enter the full URL of video in Feature video my site go dead
until I removed that post
Been using TD Composer in place of VC since last August. Awesome sauce incorporated đ
You can now delete visual composer but keep in mind that some elements will have to be recreated using the tagdiv composer. We recommend when making the change from one builder to another to recreate the entire page using the tagdiv composer only.
Do not edit a page with the new builder if it was created using visual composer. The page will have to be recreated in the new builder luckily, the process is much simpler now as you can see the changes live.
The move from one builder to another will be a bit of a hassle at first but we suggest moving over to the new builder as in the future the theme will rely on our own builder and not visual composer.
Future options and features will only be available in the tagdiv composer.
Our builder is also much lighter than VC ?

Since there is a TagDiv composer with 8.0, do we still need to update to the latest version of Visual Composer?
Thanks.
Tagdiv composer slowed the site speed (I cleaned all caches)
Tests with:
Pingdom
Gtmetrix
PageSpeed
I returned to WPBakery Visual Composer until performance improvement.
I think I just use empty text box for that on mine.
It’s not a 1:1 replacement; you will need to redo/adjust some stuff to what is supported in TD Composer — it doesn’t have all the same elements as VC, obviously.
Now I ve uptated at newspaper 8.0
Is WPBakery Visual Composer always necessary? Or can I delete it? because I see tag div composer Which has similar functions…
thanks
My problems solved after I deactivated your plugin tagDiv Composer. It was causing my problems… there was no need to invent a new Composer, visual composer was alright.
