Now the error seem to come from the revolution slider plugin so please make sure that you disable all plugins then check again.
If this issue is till present please update the theme files using this guide:https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/ ..and make sure that you make a back-up of your current theme installation before you do it.
Please let me now if you still have this iisue after this.

There is no option for the shop. You have to install the plugin then use it to build your shop, the newsmag theme supports woocommerce from 1.2 version.

Revolution Slider is an optional install. The zip version of plugin file, revslider.zip, is found in the main “all files” download from ThemeForest for NEWSMAG.
e.g., on your hard drive:
Newsmag-tf/plugins/revslider.zip
(or I guess technically on a PC: Newsmag-tf\plugins\revslider.zip )
From the “only install theme” file, it is found in
/Newsmag/includes/plugins/revslider.zip
The version of Revolution Slider included with NEWSMAG 1.3 is: Version 4.6.5 SkyWood (02nd December 2014)
Works great for most people.

I tried to update the Revolution Slider plugins to version 4.6.5. but the version featuring my Newspaper theme download is 4.6.0. After trying to update this version manually, remains unchanged since the same that is installed on my subject is offered from full download Envato.
How can this be solved?
Revolution Slider is disallowed by WordPress if it is not updated to the latest version before December 28.

I think the new version of theme released today may have the option to disable that, based on the changelog info; but I have not yet installed it (busy messing with our ecom system and rebuilding indexes, and sitting here watching dbases convert for all of our client data from 2010-2015 … hence why I’ve had so much time to be a busy body around here lately …. ) 🙂

HERE ARE THE FACTS AS I POSTED LAST AUGUST:
The version of the Themepunch Revolution Slider plugin which was first included with Newspaper “4” was “Version 4.3.8 SkyWood”; and Themepunch told me personally that the vulnerability only existed in version 4.1.4 and older/earlier (which is the version included with Newspaper “3”).
So, if you’re using Revolution Slider 4.1.4 or higher, or using Newspaper “4” you are fine. If you are still using Newspaper “3” you likely have the “bad” version of the plugin. Sadly, Themepunch did a poor job of making people aware of this issue.
Newsmag does not have the vulnerable version.
Also general rule of thumb and best practices is to REMOVE any plugins you ARE NOT USING from your WordPress install. They only bog down the system, and may prove to be an exploit later on if not secure to begin with.

I have installed the “Search Everything” plugin which works pretty fine. The only disfunction I see is that when I search an author name, search module in the header returns “Pas de résultats” (means “no results”) automatically before I click search and get the proper results displayed in a page. Would there be a way to display nothing in this module when there’s no results? Or make the result preview also rely on “Search Everything” plugin?
Another question relative to the Search function. The results are always displayed on a page with the mention “If you’re not happy with the results, please do another search”. Where can I change/translate this sentence please?

Hi,
The theme comes with Revolution Slider as an optional (not incorporated) plugin. This issue was fixed in Revolution Slider v. 4.2, the latest version of the theme comes with version Revolution Slider 4.6.0 – http://screencast.com/t/ZH4hjkjjI.
Check if the plugin was installed and active, and if you used an old version. If you didn’t then the cause of the infection comes from something else.

@Vishal Please make sure that you install the theme right and use this guide for that: https://forum.tagdiv.com/installation-newsmag/ and use the FTP method to upload the theme into themes folder then activate it from appearance > themes panel.
After this Install the Visual Composer plugin (required by the theme to work well).

Tried the plugins still not working. It’s only these 3 sections in the Theme Panel.
Yes I deleted the old files and reinstalled the theme via the control panel. But I was not able to do the caching and plugins thing before updating.

I would probably re-install Visual Composer as a first step.
Or, if using a CDN or cache; try clearing/resetting that to capture updated version of the site content.
You need to install the Visual Composer plugin for the theme to work properly.
See the theme docs (link right side of this page), to ensure you install properly.
it sould be create the thumbnail automatically? here it doesn’t… I changed the post to standard one, uploaded an image and it doesn’t create the featured image automatically. But if I put it manually, it appears. Then I swith to video post, and it appears a “play” icon over the featured image that i uploaded. But it doesn’t create the image automatically. Is a brand new installation… recomendation? do you want a user to entry?

To do this you also need to edit the functions.php file and change the add_image_size function with the thumb size you need, like this: http://screencast.com/t/u2h99TI4P then regenerate thumbnails. Please make sure that you make a back-up of your current theme installation then make this changes to the main theme and check if this works.

Here I did, I saw there was a comflict on the theme with the wp page navi… So I uninstalled the wp page navi… And updated the theme file again.. Now its working..

I am facing an issue with implementing/installing the Newsmag template on my website. It gives me the following error: td_page_builder_widgets.php when I activate the theme/template after uploading theme/template files onto the wordpress platform for my website.

I have recently installed the newspaper theme and I have a problem creating pages. Every time I create a page is blank if you viewed Preview when editing. If you want to eventually access it once published, also appears blank. Even when installing the demo theme the server stayed locked and I had to delete all created pages. Creating post don’t appears to have the same problem.
Anyone know what could the problem be?

My websites speed insight is very poor and this is due to third party plugins that i have installed to help my the functionality of the site. I read about the the page Speed Booster plugin den installed it, but after doing exactly how you instructed, and refreshing the pagespeed insifht, nothing changed.
