Hi Bettina,

I can do those steps…one question before I do so. By Deactivating the TagDiv composer will it delete any of my content? We have lots of wordpress posts, etc. and I don’t want to lose it. Or, once I reinstall it, will the content remain in the same format it is now (and hopefully with the missing stories present)??

Présentement, j’ai un problème avec l’affichage des articles dans les blocs. En fait, il y a des articles qui sont décalés entièrement et laissent des vides dans les blocs. Cela donne comme des articles qui manquent, et c’est très moche. J’ai désinstallé TagDiv composer et je l’ai réinstallé, comme vous l’avez conseillé dans ce forum, mais ça ne change rien.

Aussi, j’ai constaté qu’il y a des blocs qui n’ont pas l’option “filter”. C’est normal ou c’est un problème que j’ai avec mon thème ?

Step 1 sounds straightforward enough

Step 2 – I though tI did AMP through Newspaper theme. I checked installed plugins and I see one called “AMP”.
A) How do I determine if I used AMP for WP?
B) I use Rankmath if that changes anything, not Yoast

Any guidance on Step 3 is appreciated – I can write great, I can rank even better. But I am completely illiterate when it comes to the tech side of blogging. SO I appreciate your help and patience!!!

1. Install the Plugin: “Real-Time Find and Replace.”
In the settings, check the “Use RegEx” box and write in the “Find” box:

Leave the box “Repleace With” empty.

2. If you use WordPress AMP plugin, go to your SEO plugin and add <meta name=”robots” content=”noindex,follow”/> in the section for AMP (if you use Yoast, install Glue for Yoast SEO & AMP), if you use AMPforWP you can set it there directly in the “SEO” menu item.

3. Then add the following to the .htaccess file

RewriteRule ^(.*)\/amp$ $1 [R=301,L]

that was it

Don’t uninstall the amp plugin yet, wait a week or two. You can go to google webmastertools and have your sitemap re-indexed, then it sometimes goes a little faster.

It usually takes Google about 2 weeks to kick your AMP pages out of the index without you getting ranking problems.

The solution was to delete TD composer plugin, and reinstall it.

Hi:

I did purchase the latest version from Theme Forest yesterday and downloaded it and as I said, tried to install it and it did not work.

I tried updating it manually and did install 2 Tag Div plugins.

I tried updating the Newspaper theme and it would not work.

I would really like to get someone to do this for me that knows how to do this.

Is there someone there who I could get to do it ? I don’t have a lot of time to do this and want to be sure its done properly and gets done right away.

This is a fresh installation and I haven’t touched any of the code or installed any plugins other than TagDiv plugins. If possible, we can have a Skype/Zoom call so that I can share my screen and show you the issue.

Please install the pre-built website “Tech News PRO,” create a new post, and view it in the browser to see the issue.

Anyone who reads this forum can try this, and they will likely face the same issue.

I delete the tagdiv composer plugin and install and active it from newspaper this change nothing i have the same problem.

Argh! I found the missing link…

Activate: tagDiv Standard Pack

To anyone doing the same, please check that all the previous plugins are installed and activated after the update. The tagDiv Standard plugin was not reactivated. This keeps happening and it’s so annoying!

Tagdiv – please sort out your update process – it sucks!

Deletion and reinstallation of the plugin have fixed the style issue that we mentioned.

Will the plugin have issues in the future? like deactivating itself automatically?

Thanks Anamaria, that fixed it.

When I installed Woocommerce originally it added the Cart & Checkout pages automatically and they weren’t editable.

But when I added the Woo Cart and Woo Checkout elements onto the pages manually they became editable so are now fixed.

I already did that. Initially, the plugin got deleted after updating to the latest version then we reinstalled it again as you mentioned. The plugin worked for some time and automatically deactivated without prior warning or anything. We noticed it after getting the error in the front end. How it is possible? How did the plugin got deactivated automatically? Is there any issue with the newly updated theme?

Also didn’t hear back from you regarding the style issue that we mentioned.
