Problems with job cron auto post plugin
I contacted the plugin developer “auto post” and he told me that the problem is the thema, which overwrites, I have been working with Newspaper for a long time and before the plugin worked but now it stopped doing it.
This is what the developer told me after analyzing the problem:

very sorry for the delay. I’ve had another look and found that it is actually your Newspaper theme causing the issue. I have installed the free plugin plugin which allow you to confirm that yourself here:

With the Newspaper theme inactive (e.g. try switching to one of the WP default themes) you can see the schedule WP Robot adds and uses called “sixmin”. Once you use the Newspaper theme it overwrites the schedule to add its own, which causes the WP Robot cron to not work anymore.
This is bad programming in the theme (which is supposed to add to schedule without overwriting any others) and the fault of the theme and not WP Robot. You would have to contact them to fix it or use another theme. As far as I know this issue does not exist with any other WP theme. ”

I recently installed and activated the latest Newspaper Child theme on a staging copy of my website.
Upon activation I see the following errors appearing on my website:

I have the td_api plugin active and up to date. Not quite sure what the issue is but this blocked access to the backend of my staging copy and got rid of my header. My staging version is staging1.thepostmillennial.com

When I try to open the TDC it does not load. The plugin is installed and activated.
I have a new installation of WordPress along with the latest download of Newspaper. There are no other plugins at all. First post created is not showing images. Image opacity is being set to zero.
I can remove the lazy loading which solves the image display problem but the social media icons above the main post image still have opacity zero.
Again, there are no other plugins and it’s a fresh out of the box install. I would suggest that there’s a bug in the template code.
Can you offer a solution ?
I have a site with over 100 pieces of content already.
I wanted to go from a free theme to something better looking. Installed newspaper after purchasing it 2 days ago and the tag div composer does not show up on the page so I can do that easy 3 minute demo you guys posted.
I am not website builder, so I want to be honest about that. But I have been able to build 6 or 7 wordpress sites pretty easily but this has me stumped.
I deleted cache, disabled plugins, even deleted the theme and reinstalled. Still having no luck.
I am seriously considering just asking for a refund and buying something that maybe is easier for someone like me. If I am having this much trouble now, I am not sure if I am going to be able to manage this later. Especially since I have contributors to the site. I have to turn around and teach them something I do not know.
I am aware it could be me and not the theme. I am just wondering why I cant even get the tag div composer to show up…
I just installed your theme. So far I have not placed any ads on the theme panel. I also do not use any ad plugins on this blog (WP Quads, Easy Adsense, etc). But I’ve seen adsense ads appear on my site. How do I delete it?

Suddenly, my website gets this error msg when I’ve tried to access the ‘widgets’ to fix the sidebar Fatal error: Call to undefined method td_util::tdc_is_installed() in /home/niem/public_html/niem/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/tdc_main.php on line 929
The weirdest thing is that with admin account, the sidebar looks all wrong but if I log in as subscriber, it looks very normal.

You could contact your hosting provider and mention the error to them, it may be server related and they should be able to look into it.
You could also install the theme plugins normally, they are provided in the theme package in the plugins folder

Let’s take these issues one at a time. So you want to change the hover color for the article titles on blocks.
By default the hover color of the post titles in blocks is the theme accent color

If you choose a background color for the block title like this

Then that will be the hover color for the titles of that particular block.
Or if you install a demo, the hover color can be set by the demo. For example I believe the fitness demo sets an orange color for all the block titles. If that is the case, this specific demo design can be removed from it’s stylesheet

First please check if the composer has been updated automatically after the theme update (it should be version 2.1) If not deactivate it and remove it then install it again from the theme plugins section

When I look at the code, I see a class td-boxed-layout in the body tag. I don’t know how to switch the boxed layout to fullwidth lay-out.
I read in the forum that the website automatically switches to boxed when adding a background but we haven’t added a background so that can’t be the reason. I haven’t found a setting to switch to boxed anywhere in the theme settings, neither in the page settings.
Searching for “box” or “boxed” in the theme documentation doesn’t give any relevant hits.
Please advice how we can switch the website from boxed to fullwidth.
4. What are my steps? I should re-install the demo or reinstall the theme in the wordpress dashboard and then load the patch_8.7_8.7.2 ?

Also that message could be related to insufficient WP memory or limited max upload size

This row cannot be removed, but it is empty and will not create any issues. You can start and place elements on the page in it. For example a news ticker

I believe the problem you are having is caused by something else. There was an issue with the theme that was discovered after the 8.7.2 update, and it was quickly fixed and the theme package re-uploaded in a matter of a few hours. I would suggest that you re-download the theme package and install it. Then check the results.
