Hi,
Most probably that is because you are using mobile theme plugin( then you’ll use only two thumbs -> https://imgur.com/vwVIXUg), using this plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
Also you can show the responsive version on mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately this can be achieve only using a cloud header. Indeed cloud header 12 seems to be the one that is like the current one that you have, you need to edit it for desktop, mobile and sticky to make it to look as you want -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/ -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJo
Thank you!
Thanks for the reply i have done as adviced, checked all the requirements and changed. i still have the same issue. the featured image on mobile is invisible but if you click on the picture holder, it opens up in a new tab. For desktop its ok… Being a new site i installed the cache just two days ago, i also deactivated the plug ins… still no change.
I have not installed any mobile theme
This is my website https://www.tawkboard.com
Hi,
As I can see the mobile icons are not apply, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi,
I share a post from one of demos on facebook a I open it from there on my mobile.
But I think that I know where is the problem, our theme was not tested on Facebook Mobile Browser, it was tested only with these browsers -> https://i.imgur.com/vl10MMv.png please try to open the article in one of these browsers.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi,
The code for amp tracker need to be set in Theme panel> mobile theme > AMP Analytics -> https://i.imgur.com/UjKUMtH.png and need to be the form from your example -> https://i.imgur.com/P5BYwys.png
Thank you!
Hi,
By default our theme will generate thumbs for modules inside the blocks and grids, in this way the image will adapt and look well on all elements and viewporst you are using.
If you are using mobile theme, then you’ll use only two thumbs -> https://imgur.com/vwVIXUg here the mobile grid will display the largest image and the other one is the block for the smallest one.
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hello !
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC
Thank you !
One more issue when i check my browser in mobile version then “Gossip” default theme name/logo is coming. Why? https://imgur.com/a/ueOxqy8
I have added mobile logo through theme panel. Please help on all matters urgently.
When I use font-display: swap; for the Desktop-version, my mobile theme doesn’t work correctly anymore. What is the reason therefore?
Greetings Kathrin
All the icons on the mobile turned square after activating the mobile theme.
Looking forward for the support to resolve this issue

Dear Support,
I’ve been through two developers and wpengine support and they can’t seem to pinpoint the source of this problem.
Please visit georgegammon.com ON MOBILE and select any post. You’ll see that the featured video is a black box.
Do you know what could be preventing the featured videos from loading?
We’ve been disabling plugins, purging cache, trying everything in our power to restore this feature but unsure how to proceed next.
There was a server crash two days ago, and I started noticing this problem yesterday. So I’m not sure if something got messed up during the crash/reboot maybe?
Anyway, you guys have a better understand out of anybody with respect to how this theme loads these videos on mobile, so any guidance would help greatly..
Thanks in advance,
Gene
Hey guys,
I’ve just installed and configured the mobile theme for my website but I can’t get the menu to work.
Here’s a recording of what happens:

How can I fix this?
Thanks
Ben
Hi, the default advertising sizes on mobile in the responsive version of hte them (not mobile theme) are big and square and not appropriate. I want them changed to 320×100.
Using the menu in the Theme Panel > Ads > Header Ad I successfully changed the mobile size to 320×100… on the home page only! The category pages are still using the square size and I cannot find where to change that.
Example: (View on phone) https://bangkokherald.com/category/health/coronavirus/
Here’s my website
https://zerowastelifestylesystem.com/
when i bought it claim the speed is fast on google page peed, but its not the case
and the mobile theme not working properly as it caused issue with wprocket plugin
Hi, im using Newspaper X default theme and I install amp and mobile theme, the thing is that i dont want to show author on mobile site, in desktop i already hide author
I can’t deactivate my all plugins as it is a running website. I tried with clearing cache but then again the same problem. The theme is working fine in the desktop version.
With my previous theme, there was no such issue in either version (desktop or mobile).
I need my money back if my problem is not solved.
regards,
M Irfan
The mobile theme with AMP does not display the pages of the site and from the menu are not reachable. How can you solve it?
Hi,
Those look like issues with AMP. Are you using the mobile theme + AMP plugins? https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/ If there are issues, have you checked if they are solved by deactivating non-theme plugins and AMP? Usually plugins cause issues with AMP and validation issues.
If you tried that, we could take a closer look. You can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
Hi,
Indeed on desktop you have a good score, unfortunately on mobile is very low.
What you can do is to use the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)

Also you can show the responsive version on mobile theme for some pages or posts -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The page speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/ you’ll be able to increase the speed of your website.

Hi,
I think that you do not understand how our mobile theme plugins is working and how is working the responsive version, I’ll try to explain how these are working.
When you are using mobile theme plugin you’ll have a different theme for mobiles, but the problem is that the mobile theme in order to be faster is not working with builders (example tagDiv Composer, WP Bakery, Eementor) therefore you need to create a new content for pages in mobile editor https://imgur.com/9d0UWLT, if you copy and paste the content will not work because the pages are made with shortcodes from builders. What you can do is to use the responsive version of theme for pages using this option -> https://imgur.com/m0bVB5T
IF you disable the mobile theme or you will use it only for amp version https://imgur.com/oofST3D then you’ll have for mobiles the responsive version from Newspaper.
Therefore to fix this problem you can set some content in mobile editor using only mobile editor and keep mobile theme, or use it for amp, if you do not use amp or you do not want the mobile theme plugin, just disable it.
Hope this will help you to understand!
Have a nice weekend!
Hi Calin, I don’t know how you reach that page, what you are showing it’s the responsive template, while the website currently runs the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin. The picture shows up with the mobile theme plugin deactivated, but when it runs the plugin they won’t show
this is what comes out with the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin

and I’m using one of your demos without any customization
