Hello!
This element it is called ” Flickr ” can be found when editing a page or a cloud template with TagDiv Composer. With this element you can achieve different things:
1. Display a list of Flickr photos by mentioning their IDs separated by a comma
2. Specify the ID of a user (you can find a guide on how to obtain a user ID here: https://www.webfx.com/tools/idgettr/) and from that user you can display his photostream or all albums.
3. Specify a gallery ID and you can display photos from that gallery.
Please note that you need to select the source there in order to display whatever you want.
Thank you!
Hi,
The footer templates do not have the button to be edited with tagDiv Composer in the backend. Please check this guide:https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
The footer template can be edited only from the frontend if it is assigned, edit a page/post template with tagDiv Composer and go down to the footer. => https://www.screencast.com/t/rpfNhfyrF
We talked about it on this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-edit-footer-template-default-pro-by-tagdiv-composer/
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hello!
I checked your website and it seems you have the author name there.
Please note if you use a cloud/PRO template you need to edit that page with TagDiv Composer plugin, click on the element and you can delete it and the changes made in theme panel should reflect on your default posts.
For more information please check the documentation from here:

I think may be my question was not framed the right way or i didnt know what to call it. i found the solution. Actually in the Newspaper theme it is called Smart List.
1. Ok now I have set up a smart list and during preview I cant view it as smart List. why does this happen ? also the Post templates in my Post > Post Settings are kind of greyed out or washed out (like kind of inactive) Same is the case for the Smart list templates. should i activate something or install something to activate the post templates and smart list templates.
2. I have create a smart list and choosen Smart List 3, I published the smart list without a featured image because I didn’t want the featured image appearing on every slide. then the front page appears without a featured image if I use the featured image then every page has this image and the actual slide or list item image is not appearing fully.
you can check out the issue at https://wowdrobe.in/prettiest-chandbalis-worn-by-bollywood-divas/
Is there a way to set up the smart list with featured image but hide them on individual post pages?
3. is there a demo page demonstrating each kind of Smart list on one of your demo websites ?
Hello,
Single Post Template from Cloud Library can be edited on front-end with tagDiv Composer, this is the only way and will it work. tagDiv Cloud Library is a special custom post type made for our theme and all cloud templates that are built with it are store in the database. Therefore will not work if copy the shortcode and disable the plugin.
If you want to make a template with code you can edit a standard template from the tagDiv standard pack and you can set it in the child theme.
The mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple).
Also, with our theme, you can use for mobile the responsive version of the theme, the mobile theme plugin or the mobile page editor (this can be edit with tagDiv Composer).
You can check this video about the Newspaper theme version on mobile -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
About the custom header, please notice that we can provide support only for theme functions and for custom implementation. For this, you need to contact the custom services -> https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/
Also, for implantation and compatibility for untested and custom plugins, you need to contact work ->https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/
Also, make sure the code you set in the functions.php is set in child theme functions.php or this path => wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/functions.php
Thank you!
Hello,
The Single Post Template refers to the layout used by the posts, but the content on the posts are made in Gutenberg editor by WordPress.
“Please do not use both the tagDiv Composer and other page builders such as the WordPress editor or WPBakery page builder simultaneously on the same page.
Please do not edit a page originally created with WPBakery or other page builders.”
The above paragraph referring to pages, not posts.
If this is not what you mean, please let me know!
Thank you!
Hello,
If you have the mobile theme enable, it will over right the mobile page and responsive version. If don’t want to use the mobile theme plugin just disables it or use it only for AMP => https://www.screencast.com/t/rsVMDvFTstah .
About mobile page template if you made a page template and after that, you delete the mobile page without unassigned it from the page still be linked. To remove the linked mobile page you need to create the new one then select the new mobile page after that you can delete the mobile page.
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
With the single post template, Magazine pro for example, and probably the other single post templates, why can’t I edit the images in the tagdiv composer? It seems these edits are to be done in the standard wordpress editor is that correct?
This contridicts the info under tagdiv composer tutorial
“Please do not use both the tagDiv Composer and other page builders such as the WordPress editor or WPBakery page builder simultaneously on the same page.
Please do not edit a page originally created with WPBakery or other page builders.”
Am I missing something here, and that for the single post template, without any other elements added, you in fact do the edits in the wordpress editor?
I have a post of type “video” template “default” with a featured youtube video.
The post in home page does not show the video or a still from it. The single post view shows the video.
Is this the correct behavior? I expected that the video is shown in the home page. Here are 2 screenshots:
Hello!
In this image it seems like Mobile Theme and on your website like in your expected output image.
If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Please make sure that you have activated the proper thumbs in order to show the featured images properly.
This can be found in here: https://www.screencast.com/t/N18dR3qZrh
After activating the thumbnail sizes you need to regenerate your thumbnails using a plugin. Check this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/
Thank you!
Hy,
How can I change the background color of the content area properly,
I can achieve this with custom css with something like:
.td-pb-row, .td-pb-border-top, .page-template-page-title-sidebar-php .td-page-content>.wpb_row:first-child, .td-post-sharing, .td-post-content, .td-post-next-prev, .author-box-wrap, .td-comments-title-wrap, .comment-list, .comment-respond, .td-post-template-5 header, .td-container, .wpb_content_element, .wpb_column, .wpb_row, .white-menu .td-header-container .td-header-main-menu, .td-post-template-1 .td-post-content, .td-post-template-4 .td-post-sharing-top, .td-header-style-6 .td-header-header .td-make-full, #disqus_thread, .page-template-page-pagebuilder-title-php .td-page-content>.wpb_row:first-child, .td-footer-container::before
{
border-color: #d1e1f5!important;
background-color: #d1e1f5!important;
}
But how do I configure this properly via the Settings of Newsmag-Theme. I could not figure this out with the help of your documentation.
Thank you for your work and help!
Hello!
When you install a demo with content/without content and a cloud/PRO template, you can modify the design of that page with TagDiv Composer plugin ( tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/ )
So, in this case you can delete easily every elements that you don’t want on the page/post by clicking on them, drag & drop the element at the bottom of the page in the red zone.
We have a lot of elements which you can add with TagDiv Composer and some settings for each element also. If you will search about them in our documentation from this website, then you will find out how to use and which is suitable for your needs.
Tag Manager google account should be ok if they are inserted here: https://www.screencast.com/t/VIM9TBV9
For some basic things, you can check these documentations:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/

Hope that helps you!

Hi,
I think that you are using the mobile theme plugin, with it you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of Newsmag theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create new content for pages because in most cases those were made with builders or shortcodes (tagDiv Composer, WPBakery) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on the mobile theme, also the mobile theme will not display any sidebar)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
Also you can show the responsive version for some posts/pages on mobile theme (to get the same layout as on desktop on mobile) -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-get-mobile-ready-with-newsmag-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
These options are like this:
Mobile -> the mobile theme will apply only on mobile version.
Mobile + amp -> it will apply on both and it will have the same layout.
Amp -> the mobile theme plugin layout will be use only for amp version.
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
I use customized cloud templates for my category pages to make them into hub pages for other articles. I want to enable comments under these category pages. I saw that newspaper does not offer this functionality and would like to request it. You offer great functionality with custom templates for each category and subcategory, but the lack of comments really holds it back on sites that allow comments on all other pages/posts.
Hope you consider it. Thanks!
I want to use AMP only for posts. How do I do it without changing my homepage to mobile template page? I just want my posts to load on amp not anything else. I want my custom designed homepage to appear on mobile as well. Also I want to load the amp version only on mobiles and not on desktop version.
Do i need to activate my mobile theme to use amp plugin or can i use it on the main theme?
I just want to use the mobile theme on amp pages.
Also what should i choose between the mobile theme options for amp :-
1. Mobile
2. Mobile+AMP
3. AMP
Also what should I choose between Standard, Transitonal and Reading mode in amp plugin settings.
Also do I need to configure amp plugin settings or just leave it as it is.
I want a website like this https://hindime.net/ When i search anything on google the results of this website are amp pages but its homepage is custom designed just like its the desktop version. I just want to know how is this website using the mobile theme only on amp pages.
Also all its pages are not amp just posts . And all the posts have a non – amp version too. How can i do it?
Although comments are disabled on page template, option to write comments are shown in mobile version. (In desktop version, they are not shown as required.)
You author links looks like this:
https://rashtrajyoti.in/author/rashtrajyoti/
But when you actually click on them you go to this page:
https://rashtrajyoti.in/?page_id=3387/rashtrajyoti/
Obviously you site is not using the author template at all or you have messed something up with a separate plugin.
My site theoctant.org is having issues with updating the content on the page. Certain post pages, for example – https://theoctant.org/edition/issue/features/cake-romance-and-the-ace-of-hearts-a-conversation-with-the-asexual-community-in-yale-nus/ – are currently displaying a mobile template page (on a desktop browser, no less) that I have tried to discard, even when I have changed it back to “No mobile theme”. The strange thing is that after I log into my WordPress account and make the changes, everything shows up perfectly when I am using the same browser from which I changed it (even when logged out). However the moment I use a different browser, the whole page is different.
To make this clear, this is what I see when accessing outside the original browser page:
http://prnt.sc/10keucm
This is what I want it to look like, having edited it as such using the composer:
http://prnt.sc/10kevk3
On mobile, this is happening as well.
http://prnt.sc/10kewvd
Yet on certain pages, this is completely not an issue. It seems to be completely random, which pages are ok and which are not.
http://prnt.sc/10kf0bs
This is really frustrating me. Aside from this specific issue, many times, it seems like changes take a significant amount of time to be reflected on the page (more than a day) after being changed in composer. If this is consistently going to be the case, I am deeply disappointed with the amount of money I have spent on TagDiv. I have already disabled all other plugins and updated to the latest version of Tagdiv. What is the problem here?
My url http://www.hyperbros.com
After a couple of weeks of use, I still have a lot of problems with this template. Certainly also due to my inexperience, but I really don’t know where to start. I followed all the instructions in the “Newspaper Documentation” section, but there was nothing to be done. I also tried to use the prebuilt version of Gossip Pro, the aspect of which I really like, but starting from the home page, ending with the modules, when I set filters, I am promptly shown nothing. Not to mention the changes I make in the “Theme Panel”, almost nothing is automatically reflected on the site. In the AMP version then it continues to read “GOSSIP” in the header of the site … I’m really going crazy. And I’m wasting a lot of time. Can you take a look at my site and check it out for yourself? Thank you
Hello!
5. If you have a responsive version, then you can edit the post with TagDiv Composer, click on mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; click on the element and delete the form.
6. 7. You can delete those elements how I explained already above at point 5.
8. In our theme we have a setting when you edit the post template with TagDiv Composer. You need to disable that setting like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/JaSHpq10Y
9. You should be able to delete with TagDiv Composer like in point 5, click on the element and you can simply drag & drop the element at the bottom of the page or just press the button delete when the element is selected.
For example – https://wordpress.org/support/topic/the-link-you-followed-has-expired/
In that case the max upload size was limited, increasing it solved the problem. Usually this is the main cause.
Check this guide carefully and make modifications if needed to have set the requirements as in our guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If everything is set properly there should be no problem. Contact your hosting provider if needed and ask them to make changes as the guide suggests.
You can also install the theme by FTP, that is not difficult to do and it’s very useful to know how to use FTP. If our guide is not detailed enough check some more online:
– https://docs.presscustomizr.com/article/141-how-to-manually-install-or-update-a-wordpress-theme
– https://www.shoutmeloud.com/install-wordpress-theme.html
If you want, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
Hi,
I’ve just used imported a cloud template for my posts. However, now there’s a massive white space above the footer. How can I remove this?
Thanks so much in advance!
Hello!
If you use a cloud/PRO template, then you can edit your homepage with TagDiv Composer plugin and easily delete any element from there by drag & drop the element in the red area from the bottom of your page or just simply click the element and you will see a recycle bin basket there to delete it.
For more information about this plugin, you can check our tutorial from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thank you!
Hi bzeegers,
The options from theme panel are not apply on all elements. For example if you are using cloud templates, those can be edited only with tagDiv Composer individual per template.
Also there are blocks that has individual settings, those will apply over the settings from theme panel (blocks and grids) also the flex blocks and flex grids are also special blocks.
Also if you set in theme panel a font on H2 H3 this do not mean that it will apply on all H4 from a page, that option is usually for content set with the editor.
So like Anamaria said, the theme panel settings are more for tagDiv Standard pack elements/templates.
Thank you!
Hi,
The standard post template can’t be edit like a Single post template from Cloud Library.
I don’t quite understand exactly what you mean by the “post” option on the normal page.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
I’m Francesca.
Last week I installed Newspaper theme in my website. I’m not using the mobile theme plugin because I would like to use the same layout for both the mobile version and the desktop version.
Now I have two problems:
1. I have a problem with the header. The homepage shows a different header than the rest of the site. But the header should be the same.
I set up the header template in the theme panel and if I check the homepage in the dashboard of WordPress everything is fine.
2. Checking my site on a mobile phone, many often a fatal error appears clicking on the category pages.
I disabled all the not TagDiv plugins and cleaned many times the cache, but the error appears again after a while.
Website: https://www.wearable-home.com
Fatal error: https://www.wearable-home.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_3196.jpg
Can you help me, please?
