Hi,

Glad it worked. The transparent header can be achieved by selecting the overlay menu page template
https://www.screencast.com/t/hIueDdEK
Then the header will be transparent and overlay at the top of the page.

Thanks

This is the first time anyone has mentioned something like this, it there was a major problem with how the theme displayed on some screens, there surely would have been other users mentioning it.

Could you please test on a different device and see if the same is displayed for you? What device exactly are you testing on? We will try to make some tests if possible.

Hi,

You can check if the multi-purpose plugin style has been moved to the bottom of the page, in the page source code
https://www.screencast.com/t/CJdMotdbprK
https://www.screencast.com/t/kokki8bdhO9
That would mean the resource is not render blocking anymore. Why Google decides to now take this into account is beyond me. I have seen other cases when optimizations are ignored, or in one test they were detected and in the following not.

There is no estimate I can provide at this time unfortunately. As soon as all the tasks are completed and tested the update will be released. It should not be long now.

Try to create a new page, set a sidebar for it from the ones you have or create a new sidebar as well. The sidebar should be displayed. That would mean the problem may be specific to the pages that were covered as you say, or with their sidebars.

Hi,

When enabled the whole website should change, not just a few pages. That means it is not working correctly. There will be one template used for all posts, category pages, etc regardless of what is used or selected on desktop.
The mobile theme and also main theme may not work properly with the Cloudflare rocket loader I see you use. Try disabling that feature and check again.

Hi,

If you choose to use the same filtering and sorting for both grid and block, then the same posts will be displayed. Unless you set an offset
https://forum.tagdiv.com/offset-feature/
So the block that follows the grid in this case, should have an offset number according to the number of posts that the grid can display.

Thanks

Hi,

Let’s try to identify the problem here. So from what I understand you want to add a border bottom for your h2 in the post content, like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/yMyAhBQ0qo
WordPress used to have an underline button, but it was removed. So now CSS could be used or maybe trying to re-add the lost option and using it
http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-add-underline-and-justify-text-buttons-in-wordpress/
In my example I used this code, note that it will affect all the h2 in every post. You may change the border size, type and color if needed
https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_border.asp

.td-post-content h2 {
border-bottom: 2px solid black;
}

Remove the previous code for the border, this one is all that is needed.

Thanks

There would be no reason not to be disabled, if the option is disabled and the block sorting is a different one. Check all blocks and elements in pages, maybe the option is still selected for some of them. Additionally clear all caching and CDN if used.

Hi,

I see you have used the flex block in the page. Note that this block can be configured as you want by device. So for example if you want to display 3 modules per as you do now, it will look good on desktop. But on mobile it will not, so display fewer modules per row on mobile
https://www.screencast.com/t/23hFY2P2
https://www.screencast.com/t/RPlZLr9Ljzc
One module per row would be suited for mobile.

The page template you are using is the overlay template, this will position the header over the page content, in this case over the slider. This template would not be the best to use if you want to display a slide below the header. These are some demos that use it, that is how it should be used if possible
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_spa/
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_smart_app/
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_construction/
In your case it would be like this, with no background color
https://www.screencast.com/t/b5PoXxMK

You should consider changing the page template for better results
https://www.screencast.com/t/1cMUKPafR

That could be why you see it like that. I also use a full HD monitor and for me it looks as I mentioned. In your screenshots it looks somewhat zoomed. That would not be a good way to view the website or analyze it, you would not see it properly.

Hi,

There seems to be a 404 on an image, this could potentially be the cause for slow loading speed. Please check these sections in the theme panel
https://www.screencast.com/t/9t3Oy2YJ2D
Remove or replace the images you find there. Then check if there is still a problem.

Thanks

Hi,

You could copy the construction demo homepage and see how it is made, or modify it. This is it’s content
https://pastebin.com/LZ9Aep0b
Enter that in a new page and edit it with the tagDiv composer
https://www.screencast.com/t/Wll0HEJyu
Demos contain custom design, for example the top row in the construction demo
https://www.screencast.com/t/CJvqheRiF
There are many possibilities with the tagDiv composer and multi-purpose plugin, so many designs are possible now.

Thanks

Hi,

I checked the page you provided on mobile, I had no problem scrolling down and the infinite loading worked properly. I used mobile Chrome browser and Android device. If you could mention what device should we test on, I will try to make more tests.
But from what I can see the page loads and scrolls down properly at the moment.

Hi,

We will try to reply as soon as possible. Please notice the support hours displayed in the top forum banner also in the sidebar.
Also as a side note, please try to not reply in your own topic more than once, unless absolutely required. That will refresh the topic and delay our response. We always answer from oldest topics to newest.

Regarding the issue, from what I can see at the moment you do not have the mobile theme active. When activated the homepage will be the predefined mobile page
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Issues with the mobile theme not working correctly are in almost all cases related to caching used and CDN maybe. We recommend the WP Super Cache
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
And CDN with this configuration if possible
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/

Let us know.
Thanks

Hi,

@stijnleblansch
So the composer worked before and now it will not function correctly. It would be important that you use the latest theme version (8.7.4) and also latest plugin versions (the tagDiv composer is now 2.3). Your website seems to be redirecting here
https://fruittr.com/
There were many improvements made in the theme and also the composer over the last few updates.

First try to use the composer on a new page, to see if it is something specific to one or a few pages, or something more general.

Most important are the allocated resources. These can be seen in the theme system status panel
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If those parameters are not set according to the requirements, there could be problems. If possible and if needed increase them, or contact the hosting to increase them. Then check if the problem is solved.

In quite a few cases the solutions from these topics worked for blank pages and other composer loading problems, you could give them a try if possible
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/

Hi,

I see that you have three sections of Amazon ads in the post at the moment, like this one
https://www.screencast.com/t/jnjk1jTZ
But I don’t know exactly what the problem is with them, they seem to be displaying and directing. Please correct me if I misunderstand something.

Thanks

I thought you were decided to request a refund. We will try to help you with the problems you are having.

You simply have to install the theme, we have these guides
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

Be sure to check the theme system status panel after installing it. There are theme requirements in terms of WordPress and server that should be set. If needed contact your hosting provider for help
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Then install the demo you want. Choose with or without content
https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
With content the homepage of the demo will be provided. You can edit that homepage and configure the elements to display your own content instead of the demo content.
Without content the demo homepage will not be provided, you will have to build it with the tagDiv composer.
Let us know if you have problems and we will try to help you.

Hi,

So the ads are not displaying in Chrome and displaying in Firefox. I could take a look and check in both browsers, provide a link which should be tested.

Hi,

We could take a look, provide a link to where the problem is happening so we can inspect it.

Hi,

So when the cache plugin and Yoast are active the website is broken, that is unusual. Could you please try as a quick test to deactivate all other plugins, leave only theme plugins active, the cache plugin and Yoast. Clear the cache as well. Check if the website displays properly. Let us know.

Also take a look at the theme requirements, insufficient resources can cause problems
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Thanks

Pages will behave differently than posts. Posts can have categories and therefor be easier to manipulate their sidebars with the primary category setting.

If you create pages without using the page builders (composers) then the order for the sidebar is like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/KxlQZTKh
So if for a page you do not set a sidebar manually, the one set here will be picked
https://www.screencast.com/t/vrD7W45o6

Hi,

There is only one template for all taxonomies, you can choose a sidebar, sidebar position and module used to display the posts. The theme does not have at the moment many settings for taxonomies, almost all of the settings are for categories.
These would be all the theme has to offer currently for custom post types
https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks

The theme files will be replaced. So you could either make a backup of the file and replace the new theme file after then update (be sure to check the changelog before, that file could be modified in the update) or modify it in a child theme. The child theme supports all module files
