Hello!
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. Edit the page with TagDiv Composer. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB; there you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-speedy-mobile-pages/
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and design for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
You can choose to use whichever one is more affordable and useful for you.
If anyone doesn’t fit as you created, then make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones. Also, if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
Note: If you want to use version 1 or 2, then you need to deactivate the mobile theme plugin and see the results.
Thank you!
Hello!
The toggles are disabled(Mobile theme layout is disabled) from what I can see in your screenshot. If you want the Mobile theme layout to display on your homepage, then you need to install the Mobile Theme plugin.

Hello!
I can see your favicon there: https://prnt.sc/fcR_49pc8mCM
Please make sure you have indexed your site by Google and make sure you’ve deleted the cache before.
Thank you!
Hi Bettina!!!
Thanks you very very much!! It works perfectly!!
Here what i did from the steps you told me:
First of all, try to do these steps as quickly as possible, so your visitors do not notice the process:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Have a nice day!! Thank you very much!!
Jorge Gonçalves
Since this weekend and updated to the latest Newspaper theme version, my website (MyHealthyApple) is only showing the desktop version of the homepage and not the mobile version via the plugin. When I click on a link to a post, the mobile version of the post shows up.
See these screenshots: mobile homepage not showing
This is how the homepage should look on mobile how homepage used to look with mobile theme plugin
I’ve tried deactivating the cache plugin (I use Cache Enabler and check-marked the option to Create a cached version for mobile devices), deactivating Cloudflare (tested via Developer Mode), reinstalling the mobile plugin, rolling back to the previous Newspaper version, refreshing the cache, and so forth. Nothing at this point has worked.
I also have a question about the toggles for mobile theme (see screenshot mobile theme enable/disable in Gutenberg)
When these are toggled off, as in the screenshot example, is the mobile theme disabled or enabled? It’s not clear based on language.
Since I am not using the mobile plugin and NOT the mobile theme, I’ve toggled these off assuming that means the mobile theme is disabled.
Clearly, something is not right, I just don’t know what.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Hi Bettina,
Screenshot you linked to is not from my site. Firefox is not displaying correctly after viewing in private mode and clearing Firefox cache. Here is link to my site again: https://sabiduriafinanciera.com/
Please send me the custom css for Firefox at your earliest convenience. (also, please use VPN, our site is blocked everywhere outside USA)
Thanks!
Julio
Hello Tadej!
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
If the problem persists, please contact us at contact@tagiv.com provide wp-admin access and include the link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
Hello!
We have a guide with some tips why our Composer is not working properly, please check: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
Check some other possible factors which can interfere in our theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
“Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.
If you did these steps and you can’t see the content on the frontend, then this can be caused if something interfere there when the WP Editor saves the content you added and the process can not be completed. Please check the steps from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/unable-to-edit-text-with-title/ and also other possible issue as here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/403-error-on-tagdiv-composer-when-trying-to-use-wp-editor-wpedito-php/
Please check your .htaccess file also: https://www.screencast.com/t/MJ78SDZr4Gl -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
I don’t have a cache plugin running, there is nothing in the Analytics/JS codes besides my analytics information.
I have only installed 2 ads on my home page and anytime you look at the site at least 7 or 8 ads pop up in random locations that have no ad code installed there, a slide out from the bottom of the page and things like that. It is very discouraging for users.
Hello!
Please ensure that the issue is not caused by caching. Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, and try again.
If the problem persists, please contact us at contact@tagiv.com provide wp-admin access and include the link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
Thank you very much for your reply.
I haven’t tried it as you say, but certainly, if I deactivate the cache plugin, the Webp plugin and everything I have installed for web optimization, it won’t do me any good if the megamenu photos are in Webp.
Everything else will load slowly again.
I don’t consider that to be the solution.
About: “Disable lazy load animation” It is not enabled.
The problem is that since the megamenu pictures are embedded inside a CSS, they are not accessible.
Isn’t there any code that allows access????
As you can see in the screenshots, the loading of these photos slows down the loading process a lot.
Hello!
It should work with that plugin. Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, and try again.
As a suggestion, disable the lazy load animation: https://www.screencast.com/t/O5pfqQdb
Thank you!
Hello Julio!
It seems to work well on Firefox too: https://prnt.sc/th2KmtdwUTKS
Clear your cache from your browser and try again in an incognito(private) file.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please deactivate, delete and reinstall tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library from Newspaper plugins => https://www.screencast.com/t/OrzLvR2j and clear all cache.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please do a test using only tagDiv plugins, and clear all cache, (if you have WordFence, you need to use the WordFence Assistant to remove it).
If the problem is not solved after this, we can take a look at this and investigate why is not working for you. Contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
–wp-admin URL/ cPanel/FTP and credentials
– a link to this topic to identify you
Thank you!
Hi,
I have tried everything, reinstalling tagDiv composer, tagDiv cloud library, recreating menu in composer, deleting wp rocket cache, redis cache, cloudflare cache, changing number of viewed subcategories for mega menu in composer, recreating menu in wordpress, but everything failed.
Only thing that is now fixed is menu on mobile, but not the desktop menu. Mega menu is still showing all categories instead of subcategories..
How could I fix this?
Thank you.
I uninstalled the tagDiv Composer, as advised, and cleared the cache to no effect.
Currently, as per previously stated advice, the only plugins I’m running are tagDiv Cloud Library, Composer, Newsletter, Opt-In Builder, Social Counter and Standard Pack. I’ve disabled everything else to try and test, yet I’m still not able to use the WP Editor.
I am beginning to wonder if this is a problem with GoDaddy’s service itself?
Hello!
Please check if there is not a cache issue.
This issue has been discussed already here, please check: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/theme-unregistred-but-registred/
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Nevermind. I just figured it out myself :). For anyone else that might get stuck in this situation: it is indeed the “Ajax view count feature” which sends via POST the new views counter (increased by one) for the article in order to store it . So it can’t be cached if you want this feature to work properly. Disabling it is the only way to go…
Another suggestion from the Kinsta support team, is to force cache on this call. Will that have any negative effects on the theme’s performance?
Thank you…
Hello
We fixed the problem, please deactivate, delete and reinstall tagDiv Composer from Newspaper plugins => https://www.screencast.com/t/OrzLvR2j and clear all cache.
Thank you!

Hi there. We are facing the same exact issue with high /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?td_theme_name=Newspaper&v=11 requests. From our cache log, out of 80.000 requests, 43.000 are made to this exact address as POST. Hence the problem: they cannot be cached, resulting in high CPU usage. The site is youfly.com and we are a relatively medium to large news website with a lot of daily traffic.
99% of our traffic is “landing” on specific articles pages, so all the features you’ve mentioned above to OnlineTushar, except the search bar, don’t apply to our case. And even search is rarely used. We get /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?td_theme_name=Newspaper&v=11 requests on each and every article load.
There has to be something we could do to bring this number down.
Please advise.
Hello,
Make sure there is not a plugin conflict or a cache issue. Please make a test, deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
Also, please let me know what version of the theme you have, and also, WordPress.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
