Hello,
As a News and Media website, these things should be put in place.
I have more than 40 categories..
With what you are saying now, i cant display all my categories for my users unless i use something like a tag cloud in the footer or somewhere else.
This should be added on your next theme update please.
Regards,
Kasnet
Hello maga0000,
It seems to be a little change in our theme, regarding on theme’s js. Please notice that at the moment, the theme uses the tagdiv_theme.min.js file and in the past, the file used by the theme was tagdiv_theme.js. So, you have two possibilities to make these changes. The first one would be to change the file used by the theme from tagdiv_theme.min.js to tagdiv_theme.js and this change can be done from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6spI2VZU and the second one would be to minify the tagdiv_theme.js with such online minification tool and replace it with the theme min js file. (overwrite it). So, if you are using the Cloudflare you should purge all the files because the CSS and Js files are cached. So, after you have made these changes at the theme’s core files you should use the following custom CSS and place it in Theme panel > Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.td-category-siblings .td-category {
height: auto !important;
}
.td-category-siblings .td-subcat-dropdown {
display: none;
}
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the message!

Thanks for the feedback.
But there is some mistake, because the correct one is to show the highlighted image chosen.
It has some wrong code, but I do not know which one.
I disabled plugin cache and cloudflare.
Hello,
I just realized that I don’t know where to find this file.
https://www.screencast.com/t/3ORNutEVslq
It shows where exactly to put them, but as newspaper is uploaded to the cloud, not this laptop i am using. Can you please confirm if I should look it up on Hosgator? or WordPress? or Newspaper Theme ? I am not sure what to do. On that pictures you attached, it shows D: , does it mean this file is somewhere on my laptop?
Thank you!
Hello,
Please check your cloudflare cdn server and use these settings:

IMPORTANT: disable the rocket loader feature
Thank you!
Hello Fabio Russo,
Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized. Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit to our requirements.
Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. If you want to read other views from our users, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tip-how-to-easily-minify-your-css-without-breaking-your-site/
One of our top members here on the forum wrote his own optimization tutorial here:

Hi,
It could be related to the webp format that Cloudflare delivers the images in. There could be issues with Safari
– https://www.screencast.com/t/5ZTcqcBnAO
Try disabling that option and purge the cache, then check the results

Hi,
We have inspected the website and some posts on Safari, but the featured image and other post content images seem to be displayed at the moment. It could have been a temporary issue with Cloudflare. If you have configured it according to the documentation, there should be no problem
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Check all the plugin settings and configurations made, the theme is fully tested with the Safari browser and works properly by default.
Thanks
Hi,
I use WP Engine and Cloudflare Pro for my website: http://www.disabledveterans.org.
I keep getting warnings about the speed being an issue in Pingdom and elsewhere. Basically, as you know, the JS is blocking the CSS, supposedly. I am using the Newspaper 8 version and the Speed plugin no longer appears in the zip file. My speed is presently 3-4 seconds, and I’d like to get it back down with the resources I am paying for.
Is there an updated article on improving speed? Is there a contractor or company TagDiv recommends for work?
Hello tagdiv team,
i need help.
Safari web and mobile doesn’t show my images. I use ewwww images optimizer and cloudflare.
How i fix it? Note: some people see our images. Some people doesn’t…
For example: https://www.savunmahatti.com/hava-savunma/pakistan-basbakani-sahid-hakan-abbasi-istanbulda-atak-helikopteri-ile-uctu.html
Example ss1: https://cdn.pbrd.co/images/GQfnzaJ.png
Example ss2: https://cdn.pbrd.co/images/GQfnKDr.png
Just found the error, it was my Cloudflare configs (Rocket Loader). Could you please delete the post?
Hello,
Is it possible to change the number of items in the tag cloud
Regards,
Cyril

Hi,
Those look like shortcodes of some kind, in that page structure. If you would like the same layout like the magazine demo, you simply have to install it
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
Make sure the tagDiv composer plugin is active, although it should be automatically activated when the theme is installed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Then install the demo you want. Let us know if there are further issue installing the demo.

So, you’re not using Cloudflare with Rocketloader?
That’s where that comes from.
If using Cloudflare you likely want to check with them for tech support on how to disable the rocket loader for certain javascripts they are re-writing.
RTFM = this might or might not work with ‘automatic’ mode on; you might need to instead use manual mode.

Hi,
I installed the plugin Twitter Trends Widget, so far is working as expected. However it implements is own css style, do you know a easy way to disable it and instead use the default css which come from the theme?
From the plugin code I can see the following :
// Register style sheet.
add_action( ‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘twitter_trends_widget_styles’ );
function twitter_trends_widget_styles() {
wp_register_style( ‘twitter-trends-widget’, plugins_url( ‘twitter-trends-widget/css/twitter_trends_widget.css’ ) );
wp_enqueue_style( ‘twitter-trends-widget’ );
}
And later:
<div class=”twitter-trends-widget clearfix” id=”<?php echo $args[‘widget_id’]; ?>”>
<div class=”hashcloud”>
<?php
for ($i=0; $i < $count; $i++){
echo ‘‘.$twitter[0][‘trends’][$i][‘name’].’‘.'<br>’;
}
?>
</div>
</div>
<?php }}
