Dear TagDiv Composer Support Team,
I am experiencing critical issues with the mobile view of my website and template management in TagDiv Composer. Below are the details:
Mobile View Issue: When I activate the Theme Mobile plugin, only the latest post is displayed, both on mobile and desktop versions, instead of the design I created. The only thing visible is that single post. If I deactivate the plugin on the desktop version, the design appears correctly, but on the mobile version, it still only shows the latest post and does not reflect the full mobile design I created.
Template Issue: Additionally, I had created the mobile version of all my category templates, but I deleted them before removing the Theme Mobile plugin to see if that was the problem. Now, I can’t access the templates; the option to use them doesn’t show up, which prevents me from creating or editing the mobile version. To check, I reinstalled the Theme Mobile plugin, but as mentioned in point 1, it only shows one post and doesn’t let me access the menu or anything, so I am unable to create anything or make progress.
Urgency: The launch date for my website is set for January 15th, and I need an urgent solution. The desktop version is nearly ready, but the mobile version still does not reflect the design I created. I’ve tried everything I can think of, and nothing seems to be working.
Could you please help me with these issues as soon as possible? The launch date is quickly approaching, and I need everything to be ready on both devices.
Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to your prompt response.
Kind regards
Hi i have a clean new install of Newspaper Theme with Metropolitan PRO Demo. My Problem, i can´t see the settings for the selected element, there is in most cases just blank space. What can i do?
It shows as connected to the account in both the Social APIs and the TagDiv composer, but it just shows 0 followers or whatever number I enter into the fixed count. It shows as Social Counter ON, I’ve tried it off aswell, no difference.
I keep receiving this error, but only on my homepage:
Errors at columns: 2(models) : 9(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)
I’ve updated my theme and disabled all my plugins and it didn’t help. I haven’t put any custom code into the page.
Thanks for your help!
I kept looking and the network part of inspect element shows that mode-less.js and text.js give error 404. The internal files return those files however and both in the td-composer directory. wp-content/plugins/td-composer/css-live/assets/external/ace/mode-less.js and wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/wp-admin/external/ace/snippets/text.js to be exact. Could this be the problem? If so what might be blocking the access?
Hi everyone. For dailynintendo.nl I am using tagdiv composer for the homepage. For a few months we had working pagination with next/prev ajax. However suddenly it stopped working. We didn’t install any new plugins. At the moment I have it enable at one column near the bottom of the page for testing purposes.
Does anyone have a tip for how to fix this or where to look? As far as I know ajax is enabled.
Works fine with PHP 8.2, but not 8.3.
Works fine with latest WordPress.
(My setup anyway; also on Plesk.)
However, not all third party plugins may be compatible. So, generally you would activate *current* version of theme and td-composer plugin, and leave everything else off temporarily.
You will also need to clear caching if used, and you may need to restart PHP on your server (and restart nginx if using that in front of apache).
7.4x will still work for awhile, but yes, time to move to 8x — which, ironically I’m doing for one of my sites literally right now today! 🙂
(I don’t work here; just 7+ year TagDiv user.) 🙂
site url is http://www.pinkluggageabroad.com
My header is not displaying – I’ve uploaded a logo in the Theme panel under header – logo. Additionally I’ve tried to use tagdiv composer on the home page but it’s not displaying an element for my header. Please let me know what I should do?
Hola,
desde hace unos días me aparece este mensaje cuando intento editar la página:

Pretty sure bad actors are burdening my site with 20,000+ weekly uncached requests at /wp-json/tdw/save_css. I’ve seen guidance to disable Live CSS in td-composer.php to alleviate this issue. What functionality will I lose when I disable this? The ability to make CSS edits in the TD Composer?
Hello,
How do I access the tagdiv Composer on a Post? I only see the option for pages.
Thanks!
Hello,
I am experiencing an issue using the builder when creating pages in English.
Historically, the site has used www. and en. and has been functioning with WPML for over 10 years.
Regarding the .htaccess file and server settings (SOP/CORS, etc.), everything was functional until the introduction of the new theme with the td-composer builder.
Here is the first error that blocks the entire builder:
Uncaught SecurityError: Failed to read a named property 'tdcSidebar' from 'Window': Blocked a frame with origin "https://en.foobar.com" from accessing a cross-origin frame.
at Object.resize (tagdiv_theme.min.js?ver=12.6.6:227:443)
at tagdiv_theme.min.js?ver=12.6.6:230:134
at dispatch (jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2:40035)
at jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2:38006
I am in a difficult situation because, while trying to find a solution, I am compromising the security settings that were previously working fine.
Have you encountered this problem before? How can it be resolved?
Did you implement additional security measures in the plugin that are preventing all my attempts from working?
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Yohann
Hello,
Yes, it is correct the steps, you can delete only the code from raw HTML and after you can edit the images .If you want to go without images, then you need to delete the images element with right-click -> https://we.tl/t-begw3LfG9e
Thank you!
Hello,
You need to edit the page with tagdiv Composer, select the element and you can change the SVG code https://i.imgur.com/G9XE9OR.png -> https://i.imgur.com/RWLHAiM.png
Thank you!
Hello,
You need to do all the changes using tagdiv Composer, the settings from theme panel are for standard templates, and you use use cloud templates.
You can use global font from Manager(Website Manager) -> Global fonts -> https://i.imgur.com/iY0bh4Y.png
You need to edit with tagDiv Composer and change the font for each element that you want https://i.imgur.com/xp4zoTb.jpg
-> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQvA64uTLkI after you have set the global font. You can change it only once, and it will apply on the entire prebuilt website.
Thank you!
Hello,
Yes, you can delete the single post tags with right-click You need to edit the single post template with tagdiv Composer, scroll until you use the tags and delete them.
Thank you!
Hello Ritu!
Yes, the responsive version is like that. Another workaround could be to hide an element in the desktop so it will appear only in the mobile viewport and reverse. But you can build your mobile pages as explained here: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
There are only 3 options that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. You can see your mobile version there and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
Thank you!
Hi Anamaria, just one more question. If I decided to go without the images – remove the images and not replace them, I get a “single background image render failed – no image selected” notice in the tagdiv composer, but dont see any visual issues when publish/view the page. Is this an okay way to go without the overlayed images? I’d like the option to go back and add images if I want.
Thank you for your response and the helpful suggestions. I appreciate the insights and the screencasts you provided.
However, I have a follow-up question regarding the implementation. Correct me if I’m wrong, but wouldn’t using the “[tagdiv] Text with Title” shortcode or building the title separately with the TD Composer require future updates to be made directly through the TD Composer?
The reason I’m asking is that the “NDG CURRENT EDITION” section is updated weekly with a new title and link. The person responsible for these updates does not have access to the TD Composer. To make this process simpler and avoid potential disruptions to the website layout, we created this section as a widget (see #2 in the attached image
). This allows updates to be made directly on the WordPress widget page (see #1 in the attached image).
On the other hand, the first title, “Click Here: Win Tickets by Subscribing to NDG Video Channel,” does not change and was therefore built as a static title with the TD Composer.
That said, we are trying to achieve consistency by matching the width of the “NDG CURRENT EDITION” title bar to the “Click Here” title above it. Is there a way to achieve this while keeping the current setup of the widget for the “NDG CURRENT EDITION” section? Perhaps I am not understanding your suggestion correctly as I am also not sure what you mean by shortcode in this instance?
Hello!
You should check the errors from the console (CTRL + right-click -> Inspect -> Console) while is loading, so you can see which errors are you encounter there.
Please check the steps from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/unable-to-edit-text-with-title/ and also other possible issue as here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/403-error-on-tagdiv-composer-when-trying-to-use-wp-editor-wpedito-php/
Please check your .htaccess file: https://www.screencast.com/t/MJ78SDZr4Gl -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
The Text Title element doesnt load the edit-content section
Hello!
I recommend GTranslate plugin because it is a fast solution. Another solution could be WPML, but it takes a little more time to implement: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/
I do not recommend using the Event Calendar because the theme conflicts. Also please note that we don’t offer support for untested plugins. For the moment, we do not have an event plugin tested with our theme, but you can try one of those: https://bloggingwizard.com/best-wordpress-event-calendar-plugins/
I recommend you to build CPTs.
Full documentation here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/
A shortcode can be inserted by using the element called “Column text” or “Text with title”. For example, in the step3 here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-cryptocurrency-price-ticker-widget/
“Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open, and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.
You can use a plugin and add the shortcode how I mentioned above. Or a script can be added with the raw HTML in the cloud templates. For example, https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_js_countdown.asp, add this code to a raw HTML element.
Thank you!
Hello Bettina,
Thank you for your previous assistance. I have successfully resolved the earlier issues. However, I am now facing new challenges and would appreciate your guidance on the following matters:
Website Translation Plugin Recommendation: I am seeking an effective plugin to translate my website into multiple languages. Previously, I tried GTranslate, but it did not meet my expectations. Could you recommend a reliable translation plugin that integrates well with the tagDiv Composer and provides a user-friendly experience? Additionally, I would appreciate instructions on how to implement the recommended plugin.
Event Calendar with Map Integration: I have a category named “Calendar” where I intend to list various events, each associated with a different location. I would like these events to be displayed on a calendar and marked on a map within the same page. Could you advise on the best approach or plugin to achieve this functionality, ensuring compatibility with the tagDiv Composer?
Countdown Timer Implementation in a Template: I aim to add a countdown timer to a specific category template. While I managed to insert a countdown in a post using Gutenberg, I am unsure how to replicate this within a category template using tagDiv Composer. Could you provide detailed instructions or recommend a suitable method to implement a countdown timer in a template?
Your assistance with these matters would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards
Hello Ritu!
Of course not. You can modify the mobile version in the tagdiv Composer in the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. You can see your mobile version there and edit or adjust the elements to look better. Also, you can have a completely different mobile page if you want this and re-build a mobile page. All about mobile pages here: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
Thank you!
