Hi,
The theme demos are built with the tagDiv composer, the newer ones may contain cloud library elements as well. Editing pages that are built with the tagDiv composer and contain cloud library elements in them, with the WPBakery page builder, will not work. WPBakery does not recognize cloud elements, so they will appear as code.
The cloud library plugin works only with the tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Please use only this composer to edit pages that were built with it. That is why we recommend to use only one page builder, to avoid not knowing which page is built with what, as it can result to damage to the pages.
Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
So you want to modify modules 6 and 7 and enable the author name for them. Best way to do it would be in a child theme, if not the modifications will be lost after a theme update when the theme files will be replaced
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
The child theme is included in the full theme package code folder. Install it and activate it.
In order to modify a module it needs to be copied in the child theme, a directory path to it has to be created in the child theme exactly as in the main theme
– http://prntscr.com/mwo34r
Copy the respective module files there, from main theme to child theme. Then in order to make theme display the author name remove the comment from the code
Before – http://i.prntscr.com/AuMHNqqPQueIW7bJ_7LbzA.png
After – http://i.prntscr.com/B24_IoALTNKwZqbH5KrK1A.png
You can always create category templates with the composer, and cloud library plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Instead of using predefined modules like the default category templates, in a cloud category template you can use a loop element. These are highly flexible in terms of design, here you can see how the cloud category templates look, you can also modify them or create your own
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Category
So for example a loop element has a toggle for showing the author or not, which will apply in that respective element only
– http://i.prntscr.com/at6QEYleQxW2WIZWkxCmCg.png
Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
Please notice that will depends on how you want this page to look like. You can try using the TD Composer to create your desire Contact Us page or you can use the Cloud Template Library and choose a pre-designed template from our Library, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/XqQCBNQDm
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Those are header litters for that blocks, in order to change that text you need to edit the page with tagDiv Composer click on that title -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6pXrGJ9fJo also it is possible to be set in sidebar widgets -> https://www.screencast.com/t/kR6ltFJIHXyy
If there is still a problem to change those texts, please provide me a link were I can inspect this header title.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
The downloading part would not be possible with composer elements. You can display videos in pages for example by embedding them in a text element
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-easily-embed-videos-in-wordpress-blog-posts/
Or through the add media option – http://prntscr.com/mwno8l
But for the viewers to be able to download them you would need a plugin, maybe something like this – https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-media-download/
With this plugin seems the videos have to be hosted by you, meaning they have to be present in the media library.
Thanks
Hi,
First please check the changes/news from 4 to 9, you can see all those changes in changelog -> https://www.screencast.com/t/OUjYkEwKr -> https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609?s_rank=1
Also the best way will be to make a copy to your website and try an local install , after that please check the theme requirements for v9.6 https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
Also the post should remain, but the pages you’ll need to rebuild, also is very possible that some shortcodes that you have to not longer working; the best way will be to rebuild the pages with tagDiv Composer also you can use sections/templates from tagDiv Cloud Library .
Thank you for your understanding!
I am unable to locate the visual composer plugin even after installing it. I went through the forums and tutorials. They asked me to uninstall and delete the WP Bakery Page Builder Plugin and install js_composer.zip file which came with the theme. Everytime I do this I again see the WP Bakery Builder Plugin.
When I go to add a new page, I cannot see the Visual Composer button or the TD COmposer button. Both of them are generally visible on the dashboard when I am trying to add and edit a page.
I have other websites and other themes and I am quite comfortable using Visual Composer. This is the first time I am using the Newspapaer theme. Am i missing something? I searched through the tutorials and forums but am still stuck.
Hello,
Theme version 9.6
I have big problem – all elements of the page built using tagdiv composer do not show up on the AMP version.
example: https://serwisfinansowy.pl/kredyt-konsolidacyjny/
(whan you open this website on computer everything is ok but the content is not shown on the mobile phone)
I’ve spent a few hours trying to solve it 🙁
Posts work great on both the computer and the mobile phone example: https://serwisfinansowy.pl/mbank-internetowy-bank/
The TD Composer worked fine for several weeks since I started using it. I had created and edited several dozen pages without any problems.
Now – for no reason and without any changes to the theme or any plugin – it doesn’t even start.
When I click ‘Edit with TD Composer’ on any page, the page goes blank and nothing happens.
No error message or anything.
Just the blank page with ‘…..post.php?post_id=6843&td_action=tdc&tdbTemplateType=page’ in the URL.
Please help. This is a live site with many clients visitig each day.
I need to edit the content but right now I can only edit posts but no pages!!!
Stefan
It can’t be a plugin since it has classes of TD composer. This is a copy of the button

.td_uid_1_5c86bfa98ed1c_rand:hover {

When I open the TagDiv composer for a page from the LIST of all pages using the “Edit with TD Composer” link from that list, the TD Composer opens fine and shows the page just fine. Everything works.
If I first open the page in Gutenberg or “old” editor, and THEN open the TagDiv composer from there, the TD Composer clears the content and saves the empty page before opening the editor, even if I don’t click on SAVE anywhere. The result is that doing it this way I always loose all my page content.
Any ideas?
Hi there,
On one page I created with the composer, I have the page background color set to black by adding black to the background color of the zone. When you load the page, the black BG color is delayed and renders slowly in a sort of fade in. How can I eliminate this and have it load instantly along with the page?

Hi,
Unfortunately the tagDiv composer doesn’t have a tabs element, like the WPBakery page builder has. Maybe such an element will be added in future updates, but at the moment it is unavailable. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Maybe it can be done with a plugin with which you can create tabs, I can;t make any recommendations unfortunately.
Thanks
Hi,
You could create a gallery in the tagDiv composer, it will look like this
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-aston-villa-beat-liverpool-to-join-arsenal-in-the-fa-cup-final/
It can be created in a column text for example – http://prntscr.com/mwcnti
– http://prntscr.com/mwco3u
Or use the revolution slider, an image slider could be created with it. This is a very complex plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/
– https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-revolution-documentation/
Other than these there would be no other elements that can slide images, except maybe gallery plugins.
Thanks
Hello,
The “gallery” you see is an attachment page, not a standard gallery.
The attachment page can be linked to your pages and it can be customized with the cloud library and tagdiv composer: https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-attachment-template/
Thank you!
Hi,
That would be possible if you design the post template with the composer, and using a cloud post template – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
So for example you can split the row like this – http://prntscr.com/mwcjr8 and even stretch the row for more space. Place the post content in the middle larger column, the left and right columns make them sidebars.
Here you can experiment with the cloud post templates, preview and even edit them
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single
Of course you can create your own (with a blank template) or modify after importing a template designed by us.
The predefined post templates can only display one sidebar, left or right.
Thanks
Hi,
Yes, it’s possible to use the menu icons if you are using the TD Composer as a page builder. All of these changes should have to be made in Menus section from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/zBJ8Z3egyc
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
Both your requests are possible through the tagdiv composer. You only have to replace the block 9 with a flex block. Flex blocks allow you to customize the blocks as you want them.
Here is an example:
https://www.screencast.com/t/mAMak9lOjIjC
All was made in the block settings for flex block 1
Thank you!
Hi there, this is certainly a major issue I cannot seem to resolve. I do not know foresure if this started after I updated to version 9.6, but I cannot seem to resolve the issue that all pages built with the composer are now boxed layout, where they were full width and custom stretch to 1200px. I have gone through every part of the theme panel, as well have removed all my CSS hoping that may solve it, but nothing.
Please help ASAP.
Hi,
Also please make sure that the theme system status is configured as mentioned in the requirements guide. Please follow the guide carefully
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps
Will be best if you’ll crate the pages with tagDiv Composer
From Visual Composer to tagDiv Composer -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi there, i recently activated the mobile theme to improve my site speed and it looks that everything works fine but when i try to navigate through the menu and select one of the sections not even one post is shown. I created the whole website pages using your tagdiv composer but as i said before i cannot see any of the post when navigating on the mobile theme. Probably I am doing something wrong but i cannot find it ¿any idea?
Hi,
I’m trying to build a page using visual composer (WPBakery), but when I try to add effect to element, for example, a single image such as (animation css fadelnDownBig) that not work can i know what is the problem?
Hello,
Sorry but the mobile theme will convert all styles to the single mobile styles. The mobile theme only has 1 smart list style. It cannot use any other styles.
The tagdiv composer will never be part of the mobile theme as it will defeat the entire purpose of it. If you need the composer on mobiles, please disable the mobile theme and you can use the standard responsive implementation of the theme. The mobile theme plugin is an optional plugin, not required for the proper functionality of the theme. We will be adding new features to the mobile theme in future updates but a full on composer will not be possible.
Thank you for understanding.
Hello,
The custom post types will not use the standard ‘category’ taxonomy. You will find settings for the CPT taxonomy in this field: https://www.screencast.com/t/pDXqIzoe1
You can show CPT in the tagdiv composer by using the post type field: https://www.screencast.com/t/qohUDu4R
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately, the theme has not tested with this kind of plugin and also, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, sorry! Most likely, this plugin causes your footer problem and therefore, we cannot assist this section if you are using that untested plugin, sorry! Please notice that the first step for WordPress debugging is to disable all od untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Notice that our theme works as expected with the Footer page functionality (page created with TD Composer) but we cannot say for sure if it will work if you are using some untested plugin’s functionality inside it.
Thanks for your understanding!
