Hello!
This issue with the error from Composer has also been discussed here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/errors-at-columns-elements-5/.
Please make sure you did all the steps that I mentioned here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/errors-at-columns-1models-0dom-the-model-does-not-match-the-content-curr/
Thank you!
Hello,
This prebuilt website is made with standard templates, so you can not edit them with tagdiv Composer, only using the options from theme panel. You need to recreate them with tagdiv Composer and use a blank template.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please edit with tagdiv Composer, select the viewport for phone, select the mobile live search and disable the live search https://i.imgur.com/XkvlxBC.png
Thank you!
Hello,
You need to edit the post with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/jHatJGC1qRf, select Single Post Views => https://www.screencast.com/t/NhUGCRfI, and right-click to delete it. The same steps are for comments and other elements like the author box.
Thank you!
Hello,
You need to edit with the tagdiv Composer select the viewport for phone and check those settings on the row https://i.imgur.com/JQTKklx.png
Thank you!
Hi simchris, you are right, for the moment there is no option to remove those elements and the easier solution is a custom css to hide the comments and post count elements. Now in case you want to remove them so will no longer be loaded on the page, then you need to edit it in the file – wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/parts/page-author-box.php – https://i.imgur.com/yWViXaj.png
Thank you!
This plugin failed to load properly and is paused during recovery mode.

Thank you, @simchris, for your suggestion. I just tried creating a new homepage under **Pages**, and I was able to edit it without any problems, even when it’s set as the homepage. However, the homepage generated by the **”News Free”** prebuilt template cannot be edited with tagDiv Composer, even when it’s not set as the homepage. It gives the following error:
> **Error at zones: 6(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content. Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z).**
Also, thanks to your idea, I saved the homepage generated by “News Free” under a different page name and installed another prebuilt template that works without issues. But when I set that saved page as the homepage, it gives the same error.
**Conclusion:** The problem lies in the page generated as the homepage in the **”News Free”** prebuilt template.
Additionally, we’ve observed the following:
– We’ve tested most of the other prebuilt templates one by one, and none of them have this issue. The error seems to be specific to the **”News Free”** template.
– We suspect there might be an error or corruption in the content or configuration of the “News Free” homepage that causes it to be incompatible with tagDiv Composer or leads to the 500 Internal Server Error.
Given that we’ve replicated this problem on three different installations across three different providers—all on fresh servers with no additional installations—it seems there might be an inherent issue with the “News Free” prebuilt template itself.
Thank you again for your help! If you or anyone else has further suggestions or has encountered a similar issue, I’d greatly appreciate your input.
Hello,Thank you for your answer.
I’m sorry, but there appears to be a specific error with the prebuilt template **”News Free”** when including the default content provided by the theme. We have performed **three different installations** on **three different providers**, each on **completely new and empty servers** without any additional installations. The theme works correctly in all aspects, **except with the “News Free” prebuilt template**.
Additionally, we have tested **most of the prebuilt templates one by one**, and **we haven’t had any issues with any of them except for “News Free”**.
The problem we’re encountering is a **500 Internal Server Error** that **only affects the homepage**. The rest of the site—posts, pages, and other sections—works without any problems. When we try to edit the homepage with **tagDiv Composer**, we receive the following error:
> **Error at zones: 6(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content. Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z).**
We have attempted several troubleshooting steps, including:
– **Activating WordPress debug mode** to identify specific errors.
– **Checking the server error logs**.
– **Verifying the PHP version** and increasing the PHP memory limit.
– **Deactivating all plugins** except those required by the theme.
– **Reinstalling the “News Free” template**.
– **Attempting to disable ModSecurity**, but we encountered difficulties in doing so.
Despite these efforts, the problem persists **only with the “News Free” prebuilt template**. Other prebuilt templates work without issues.
Since we’ve replicated this problem across multiple servers and providers, it seems there might be a **specific error in the “News Free” template when importing the default content**.
Could you please investigate this issue or provide us with additional suggestions?
Thank you for your assistance!
Best regards.
Works for me. Main thing is disable caching, upload NEW version of tagdiv composer; upload new theme folder only via FTP vs zip file. Disable anything not being used like mobile plugin – not needed in most cases until site working.
Login, and “enable” tag div composer plugin.
You may then need to massage some things like reset sidebar widget, or reselect footer widgets and reselect menus.
(any way – that is how I do it )
Sorry, I’m trying to install NewsMag5, but something is not working.
1)If I open a page and try to use TagDiv Composer, a “critical error” screen appears and it’s not possible to work, even though the plugin is correctly installed and activated.
2)If I try to use Prebuilt Websites (ex. Magazine or Clear Voice or Classic Blog) it does not display the homepage correctly: no sections appear, just a sheet of text. And there are no entries in the backend that allow me to modify it.
3)When I tried to install the Mobile Theme PlugIn, the entire site crashed and I had to restore to the last save, losing a lot of work done.
My site URL is http://www.laformicamitomane.com.
The site is up to date (WordPress 6.6.2).
I have now uploaded the old theme again, so that users can continue browsing. If you explain to me how to do it, I’ll send you some screenshots showing the problems.
Why does NewMag5 not work?
Hello!
We have a guide with some tips on why our Composer is not working properly; please check it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/.
Examine some other potential interfering factors: https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
Check all these requirements for the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Please note that page speed is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
I can offer some suggestion regarding the page speed:
Optimize Images: Compress images before uploading them to your WordPress site. You can use plugins like WP Smush or EWWW Image Optimizer to automatically optimize images without losing quality.
Utilize Caching: Implement caching to reduce server load and speed up page loading times. WordPress caching plugins like WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache can generate static HTML files of your pages to serve users instead of dynamically generating them each time.
Minify CSS and JavaScript: Minify your CSS and JavaScript files to remove unnecessary characters and reduce file sizes. This can be done manually or through plugins like Autoptimize or W3 Total Cache.
Enable GZIP Compression: Enable GZIP compression on your server to reduce the size of files sent from your server to users’ browsers. Most hosting providers offer GZIP compression, but you can also enable it through plugins like WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache.
Optimize Database: Regularly clean up and optimize your WordPress database to remove unnecessary data and improve performance. You can use plugins like WP-Optimize to automate this process.
Limit External Requests: Minimize the number of external requests your website makes by reducing the use of external scripts and widgets. Each external request adds overhead to your page’s loading time.
Enable Lazy Loading: Implement lazy loading for images, videos, and iframes so that they are only loaded when they are visible on the user’s screen. This can significantly reduce initial page loading times.
Optimize Server Response Time: Choose a reliable hosting provider with fast server response times. Consider using a content delivery network (CDN) to serve your content from servers closer to your users.
Regularly Update Plugins and Themes: Keep your WordPress core, plugins, and themes updated to the latest versions to ensure compatibility with the latest performance optimizations and security patches.
Ads can significantly impact the speed of your WordPress website since they often involve loading external resources and scripts. You can try to limit the number of ads, optimize ad sizes and formats, and implement lazy loading on your ads.
By following these tips, you can significantly improve the page speed of your WordPress website, leading to better user engagement, higher search engine rankings, and overall improved performance.
Thank you!
the site is very slow, I can’t even save changes with TagDiv Composer!
can anyone help me?
Thank you
Hi,
The option for the undo-redo is disabled for this please open a page in tagDiv Composer, then click on Manager and then on settings -> https://i.imgur.com/KuvxEl6.png enable the option and should display the arrows for undo and redo ->
https://i.imgur.com/nxnyvw1.png Check this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-website-manager/

Hello,
The image is here https://i.imgur.com/yX1Hd1z.jpeg please edit the page with tagdiv Composer, select the row, go to the tab css and here is the background image -> https://i.imgur.com/oeUyVvI.jpeg
Thank you!
Hi,
Usually, the color and image are set on the row, so please edit with tagDiv Composer and select the row and go in the tab CSS, and there you can remove it https://i.imgur.com/IkbGWUS.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/background-color-of-the-main-menu-be-changed/
Thank you!
Hi,
If the settings are not saved, you can inspect them by right-clicking -> inspect -> console -> select the error in the tab network -> preview, and you can see the cause.
Please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-composer-does-not-save-only-content-of-homepage/
Thank you!
I am login, click edit with tagdiv, make change click save content- just spins.
Goodmorning, after updating my newspaper theme I have some strange errors. Pressing a blogpost I get an error like, wp_booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: single_template_5 is not set.
/home/customer/www/stressplein.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_api.php
How to solve this????? Thanks
Hello,
Did you have created mobile pages? For this, you must convert the header and footer -> https://www.screencast.com/t/HrjOBNayd to be able to edit with tagdiv Composer. Please check this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Thank you!
Hello TagDiv team,
I am testing my changes from my dev system in a new test system. To migrate I imported the theme settings from my dev system to my test system. Then I exported the cloud templates from my dev system and imported to my test system.
Everything worked great, except for my template for post tag is not displaying my template. Other taxonomies templates are working fine, this is the only one with an issue.
I recorded a video showing the issue here: https://share.customerfx.com/qGunvmZR
As I show in the video, I can see the template associated with Tag in the Cloud Templates area. If I edit in TD Composer from there I see the correct template. If I use View, it shows incorrect even though I can see the same template Id in the URL. I have also ensured that there are no caching plugins active (all other imported cloud templates are displaying fine and just as they are in my dev system, only the post tag template is having this issue)
Also, the incorrect tag template that is showing doesn’t have any of the rest of the header, footer, etc as I do in the dev system.
I am unable to provide access to either the dev or test systems since these are local systems, but I am capable of performing any database queries, or checks of anything needed, to provide the info you need.
Thank you.
Ryan
whenever i try to edit homepage, it’s redirecting to eror404 page.
Since i have few licenses and few websites with same combo – Newspaper theme and Composer, i ve tried to move folders of theme and plugins from server to server, from those that works to this one that has problems, but it shows same errors. Same with newly downloaded complete version of Newspaper files from themeforest.
Hi,
since this morning i have problem with Newspaper theme and namely composer plugin.
In one moment, after not installing anything or updating, i was just searching site database in Participants Database plugin, i received white screen of death but only on admin dashboard (it works normal for visitors).
I have renamed plugins folder, which resulted in restored access to admin dashboard. So i have changed name of plugins folder to plugins.old, formed new one and started checking plugin by plugin. On very start, as soon as i reinstalled Composer, alone in plugins folder, white screen of death comes back. This didn’t happen to any other plugin.
Then i noticed that in Newspaper part of dashboard if i start installing of plugins, i m getting Ajax error.
I ve turned on debug and these messages i m getting first for Newspaper dashboard and second for white screen of death after i put Composer manually and activate it.
