Just upgraded form 8.7.4 to latest, deleted Newspaper folder and unzipped new one. Updated all plugins and cleared chases.
Getting this error when Editing Content.

I am unable to access front end composer. I don’t have any pages, posts or content. But when I try to open TagDiv Composer from adding new page section it does not open. Instead, I see the blank white screen. Please help
The Visual composer plugin just has to be active, the shortcode will work regardless of it being active for posts or not.

That is most certainly made with a custom code modification in the theme or composer, not available in the default theme.
If you want we can provide theme version 8.1.2 so you can install it and see that there is no such option in the default theme.
There was no “Custom” sorting in the theme or composer plugin. All the sorting methods are mentioned in the block settings guide

I have inspected your website but this section it seems to return the same results for both devices (desktop and mobile). Is it set up the Random posts? Provide the front end settings for this section from TD Composer so I can take a closer look at it.

Indeed, the ads when using cloud pops templates have to be entered in the template while editing it with the composer. Ads entered in the theme panel will not appear in cloud post templates, only in the default post templates.
Currently there are no settings per device, there will be in the future I believe. You could modify the adsense code and hide it for the screen sizes you want (bottom part of this guide)

2. I fixed images cropped on Module Flex 1 by modified the child theme
3. I tested my site again with Google PageSpeed and they showed 4 css are render-blocking include td-composer css and theme css

I’m now trying to use TagDiv template builder and Visual Composer. But when I go and enter my site, nothing changes. It’s still the old crappy site.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi Bogdan, I haven’t migrated to tagDiv composer thing yet as it got me into issues last time when I migrated from NP7 to NP8 so I never enabled it in NP9. Is it possible to do it w/o tagDiv composer but rather with a coding in single.php or loop-single.php to insert block-5 section with a list of post IDs?

The differences between the themes are many

A couple of the main differences would be the multipurpose, wider (or full width) layout options, many more elements in the tagDiv composer that are possible only with the Newspaper theme. Also the cloud library plugin which is provided only with Newspaper.

Did you have tried to create your desired homepage using the Cloud Templates Library? Using this functionality, the theme allows you to use the TD Composer which gave you a lot of functionalities and elements which can be added to your template. I have read all the SSL trouble-shooting links that you have provided, as well as those in tadDiv’s knowledge base. I have also read Cloudflare’s information on the subject. I have followed all the guidelines and toggled between setings in every combination I could think of as a process of elimination. I have a green padlock on the website, it functions perfectly fine other than the tagDiv composer plugin issue. I have not come across an instance that replicates my particular problem and how it was solved.

There are some new features coming for the tagDiv composer, however I believe this is not among them unfortunately.
Each update will include new options for the composer, but there are many suggestions and plans, it is hard to decide between them. Sorry for the inconvenience.
