Hello,
Unfortunately the grid builder is not part of the theme but part of visual composer and the theme has no control over it. If you want to change the position of the visual composer elements this can only be done custom. If you provide a link to your site I could try to use a custom css but I cannot promise a result though as we have not tried altering the visual composer elements and I cannot provide a certain response if it will work or not. I will give it a shot though.
Thank you!
Hi,
First of all try to deactivate all the plugins except Visual composer to rule out any conflicts between them and the theme and to see if the problem still occurs. Then please check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Thanks
Hello,
There is a big difference between a blog roll and a static page. You are not using a static page on your homepage but raher the blog page that only provides a list of your latest posts. Please read this guide:
http://www.wpbeginner.com/glossary/static-front-page/
A static page can be created and edited in the page builder (visual composer) while the blog can;t
Our theme provides settings for the blog page as well, so you can solve the issue in 2 ways. Either you create a static page in visual composer and add it as your homepage,
or you change the settings for your current blog homepage from the theme panel like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/oo23D826ie
Thank you!
Hi,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except Visual Composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it and see if the problem is still there. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thanks

Hello,
I have tested this on my end but could not see any issue. i get no duplicate content using the exact same block and filters.

Hi,
Add this code in Theme panel->Custom Css
.td_block_9 .td-module-meta-info {
display: none;
}
Result – https://www.screencast.com/t/ANTUjEOX9
You can use any of the available widget elements from Visual composer on your homepage or in the sidebar, if you would provide more details I may be able to help you if you are having problems.
Thanks
Hello,
Please contact your host and have them disable any hosting side cache that might be provided by them. This seems to be the case more and more these days.
Also please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Hello vish,
Here is talking about Big Grid 6/styloe 7 as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/V0YfHr82R4EP If you want to use this type of block, you should add it from your backend, using the Visual Composer, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/4E1Vz2MPYaY For more information about Block Settings, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Testspiel,
I have checked your website and I saw that you have some errors in your console as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/JkXmOz1gY and also, I have noticed that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues like these. You should try to disable all of these, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. If the problem is still there, yo should try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
On the mobile theme, no visual composer blocks will work at all. The mobile theme does not use visual composer so any at all block will not be rendered. This guide describes this information: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hello, I’m in the Visual Composer and when I add the element “Popular Categories” and “WP Recent Posts” the colors are not the same.
Is there a way to make them look the same? I realize WP Recent Posts is made by WordPress, and Popular Category came with the Theme… Is there an element made by the theme that I can use for Recent Posts instead?
Thank you very much, it is already solved.
Now I have doubts about how to configure the mobile template. I have installed the plugin tagdiv the mobile theme. But I want to customize the presentation of the Home with Visual Composer. This is possible??
Thanks!!!
Hmmm…
using either ‘td-theme’ or ‘tdtheme’ does not un-enqueue (remove) the main style.css from head.
Hmmm…
oh…
// 1001 priority because visual composer uses 1000 function load_front_css() {
will try de-enqueue priority of 1100
yep … that was the trick, I had upped priority to 999, but you clever folks had it at 1001 … 🙂
Sorted!
Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I just did it AGAIN, however as stated, I have already verified the problem exists after I: turned off all plugins except Visual Composer, went to newspaper base theme (not child) and confirmed that the preview thumbs are incorrectly sized. So I’ve done this twice to confirm the problem is with the theme.
That other plugin causing an error (wordpress social stream) is a purchased plugin and I am investigating with the plugin developer and my host company as it’s not working after the theme update.
Thank you. I want you to login to the site SOON to investigate. I know it’s a theme issue, not a plugin issue. This is completely confirmed. Please help soon; delays are a problem for us.
Hi,
You can see the website here: https://the.chronicleproject.com/ ( Note that the top right image is a random image using another plugin. )
User: thechronicles2 Password: chroni
and also in the staging area where there is no caching: http://thechronicles2.staging.wpengine.com/
Most of the blocks are put at random posts except the blocks news and tributes to sangha.
The posts stay always the same. I first thought that it was wp-engine caching, so I copied the website to the staging area, which is not cached. Same thing.
In the staging area, I disabled all plugins except VC composer and it stil does not work.
Am I missing any settings ?
Thank you for your support,
Francoise
Hello FranciscoM,
I suppose that you are referring to the post view count, right? Please notice that feature only increment the view for every access of post. You should remove all of your untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicitng plugins.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello boos11,
I suppose that you do not understand very good how mobile theme works, right? So, please notice that this theme concept intend to display a Big Grid feature at the top of homepage which shows the posts which are included in Featured category, then will show a text which you added in Mobile Editor in Visual Composer from backend and at the very bottom of the page you will bring the Latest Articles module. Please keep in mind that the Mobile Theme do not recognize the Visual Composer shortcode and that’s why you did not get the demo style for mobile theme. So, for more information about our mobile theme, please check the documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ If you are unhappy with this layout, and if you want to have the similar structure with our demo mobile, you will simply turn off the mobile plugin and the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mobile mode.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
You don’t need to activate Visual composer, it is provided pre-activated with the theme. Updates of visual composer come bundled with updates of the theme. You can use all of Visual composers features from the start, no activation needed. More information here in this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thanks
Hello,
Sorry but that is not a default theme element. Is it an extension of visual composer maybe There is no such setting in our theme. What element is being used?
Thank you!
Hello Maui No Ka Oi Magazine,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using some untested plugins as you can see here ->
https://www.screencast.com/t/6VdlwXvi5 Notice that all of these are untested with the theme and these cause a lot of unknown issues, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/onol49wp Try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
Please make sure you use the latest version of the theme (7.6.1) and the latest version of visual composer: 5.0.1
If the option is still missing please reinstall the theme using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Also disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
Thank you!
Hello,
The 2 sticky ads are like so because you have the smart sidebar class set on the row in visual composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/PqgTovr0XFa6
Please read this guide to learn how to set or remove the sticky sidebar: https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/
As for the ad boxes and the gap, you use separate rows on the sidebar so your sidebar is split in 3. That mens that the sidebar element will wait for the other sto show up with all content before showing the next row. You have the row set to shoe on the left the block most popular with 5 posts and on the right, the ad box with 2 ads.
It simply waits for the row to finish before showing the next row with content: https://www.screencast.com/t/DcUIkoVkcxR
If you want a continous sidebar and no gap between elements, add it on the same row and there will be no more gaps.
Thank you!
Hello robrev6,
Check your system status to be higher increased according to our guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Also, ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and also, the right version of Visual Composer which come bundled with the theme packet.
Thanks for your understanding!
