If you have the latest version try it another way. Access the plugins section of wordpress, then deactivate and delete files for the visual composer plugin like so: http://screencast.com/t/2ceG31xMrQi2 and then simply install the plugin again from here: http://screencast.com/t/cOlgb93fw65P

Our theme elements were not meant to be displayed full with. Our theme uses a fixed width for it;s content and all elements depend on this fixed width to display properly. Changing the width through visual composer is not recommended. Please do not use stretch row and content on the theme blocks and grids. It works with visual composer elements but not with theme specific elements.

After you update your theme, please make sure you clear all caches and reset cdn files if you use it. Sometimes the cache loads the old files until it gets cleared and cause unexpected issues. Also newspaper 7.3 requires the new version of visual composer (4.12) so please also update your plugin by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

Thanks for your answer but im again confused.
I want to use it on pages, not posts.
I want to have a row added to visual composer and make sure that it is being displayed after posts’ loop of the front page, at the bottom.
But no matter of what I add to the bottom of visual composer, posts loop is being displayed always after its content, on the frontpage.
Let me tell you a scenario:
Install a fresh copy of WP and install the theme along with its dummy content. Frontpage has now some imported content. Lets go to the frontpage and add a new row with some text, at the very end, after all other elements.
You save and refresh and your new row is there, but it appears before posts’ loop.

Unfortunately, the Visual Composer is not fully tested with the posts but only for pages but if you want to use it when you create some posts you will have to enable this plugin and for posts from the panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/tx6AwdS1NfjN Using the Visual Composer for posts you can add what you want on your site but please notice that it is possible to require some adjustments using the CSS code for better results. So, if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

I have checked your website and I saw the clutter for the block 1. Also, I have checked your console and I have notice that you are some js.error and also, you are using the child theme. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. All of these tasks you will have to do in the main theme and then check the results.

Okay — Looks like the Visual Composer and Theme have been updated now — so that is great news. Now the problem is the Comment Counter, and Post Date is showing up on home page when I have those buttons set to have them hidden. I also updated social counter and all counts updated correctly but Facebook, I added the API info and it still reads 0. Any ideas why I am see these issues with the new update.Thanks in advance for your help…
OK, I have tried to update the plugin; I have updated the theme, but I still don’t have version 4.12. Where is the zip file with the visual composer plugin so I can install it? So confused and I have read the instructions, but I get stuck where it says:
‘4. Select the Newspaper\includes\plugins\js_composer.zip file, press Open’

You have a custom css which add a margin top to one of theme’s containers: http://screencast.com/t/thKtSXLN7a Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and also remove any custom css from theme panel > custom css > custom css then test the page again. Also make sure that you didn’t added any custom in Design option for row and column.

I think that you didnt get my second point (2).

I’m thinking of two alternatives:
– Is there any way to have posts loop included inside Visual composer?
– Is there any way to have last row shown in the exact last row position in the frontend ( after posts loop ) ?

Tabs are NOT DEPRECATED. The deprecated tabs share the same name with the new tabs visual composer added. The ones you see in the deprecated list are different than the ones you see in the all elements tab. The short codes are different as well for the elements:
Simply do not use the tabs from the deprecated section. Use the ones in the all section: http://screencast.com/t/3HOiFZI9fQj
It’s confusing I know, but the deprecated elements will be removed and only the current ones will remain.
It’s way easier than modifying the block.

The mobile theme needs content to be added in the mobile editor to create mobile versions of your pages without the use if visual composer.
This is an optional plugin and the theme is responsive without it so if you do not like the plugin, you can simply deactivate it from the plugins section of wp.

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme with the latest version of required plugins (Visual Composer 4.12 and Social Counter 4.1), clear all your caches and test it again. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

This depends on how the homepage gets it;s pagination. In our theme you can paginate any block at will. I assume though you use the pagebuilder + latest articles page template. You can deactivate the latest articles element by changing the page template: http://screencast.com/t/Zn816Klky9
If you still want the latest articles section but we no pagination you can use a visual composer block instead and not have it paginated.
